Dr. Goodell is a General Dentist in Brighton, Michigan. He believes in two things: Excellence and Prevention. His goal is this: that his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime! Therefore, his dentistry is «minimally invasive» which means detecting and treating diease Early and Conservatively.

Dr. Goodell is one of only 20 dentists in Michigan licensed to perform LANAP (laser assisted new attachment procedure). LANAP is a procedure used to treat moderate to advanced periodontal disease (gum disease) with a laser. It is FDA cleared, and when successful, can help reverse the course of gum disease and help build new bone.

Dr. Walter Goodell has a vision to provide the highest quality dentistry and to deliver it in the most caring of environments. Dr. Goodell graduated from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1975. In 1980, he started his dental practice in Brighton, Michigan.

In December 2005, Dr. Goodell became the 5^th dentist in Michigan to be fully certified at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. This certification allows him to perform FDA approved LANAP®, a laser-​assisted new attachment procedure.

Dr. Goodell is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Academy of General Dentistry and Dentists Who Care, a grass-​roots movement to rid the world of childhood dental decay, the only disease in the human body that is completely preventable.
