Bella Sera Event Center

My best friend is considering the Bella Sera for her venue and as her maid of honor I went to check out venues. I was so impressed with the service. The staff really cares to get to know the folks who are getting married. plus it’s a beautiful venue.

Went to a wedding here last weekend (ceremony and reception). It’s a really cute venue. Not in the best area, parking is across the street in a public parking lot near the highway in Brighton. They make good use of the space, and change it up between the ceremony and reception. They could do it a little faster though, the time it took to stand around in between was a bit much for a very pregnant woman. The layout is also a little odd in that the men’s and women’s restrooms are on the opposite sides of the building, which is a little awkward if you’re trying to run across the foyer (where pictures are being taken) to get to the other restroom.
They have some cute little balconies and places to take pictures, and they decorated it really well. Made for a beautiful evening. The food was good too (stuffed shells and lemon ginger chicken, with potatoes and a veggie dish on the side). The employees I interacted with at the buffet were very friendly. There was a cash bar (accepted cards and cash) with one bartender. The prices I heard seemed a little high for things outside of wine and beer, but not totally out of the question. Seemed like a good place for a wedding, though a little out of the way if you live in Denver.

When looking for a wedding venue, I knew it was going to be tough. We wanted a March wedding, which immediately meant indoors and cut out many of the affordable options. When we went to look at Bella Sera, I instantly fell in love. Although you are a little unsure when you pull up to an incredible building, surrounded by run down ones in Brighton, you walk through the door and can’t help but gasp. This venue has made every bit of the building serve as a dream wedding location. The staff was absolutely incredible and made sure every detail was perfect! Sari was a blessing and took on so much of the stress that would traditionally be the brides. I can’t say enough good things about this venue. I would do it all over again, and wouldn’t change a thing. Magical!!!

I paid $ 7500 to the Bella Sera and I didn’t receive one thing from it, they just kept our money. We had suddenly fell in to hard times when my fiancé was suddenly laid off from his job that he worked at for 20 yrs. They claim they had to keep the money to pay the vendors, but funny that I had my own venders lined up they only one I was using through them was the DJ and we had already paid him $ 100. I would never recommend this place. They are after the $$$. They don’t really care about you like they say in their meetings with you. I learned that first hand.

I planned a last minute (within two months) rushed wedding and found Bella Sera online. I live in Las Vegas but needed to have the wedding in the Denver area. The pictures made it look gorgeous and the price was much less than anything else I could find. I worried a little wondering if paying less meant I would get less of a wedding. From the word go, every single person who had a hand in helping me plan this wedding, through email, was phenomenal. I picked my decorations from pictures and just hoped it would look like I wanted it to. The day we came to Bella Sera for our rehearsal, I knew I had made the right choice. I am very picky and have extremely expensive taste even if I try to acheive that on a budget. The day of my wedding, I came in and cried when I saw the decorations. They had perfectly captured my vision without even meeting me or having me there in person. The venue was more than I could have asked for and the staff went above and beyond at every point. The day of my wedding was smooth and very well organized. There was not an ounce of stress on me. Even to the point that I wanted different music from my DJ and Mandy, my planner, talked to him and told him not to try and talk to me. LOL. The food, oh the food. All of my guests kept complimenting us on how good the food was and how it didn’t taste like catered, banquet, wedding food. The wedding was beautiful and my guests were in awe over the decorations, food, venue and staff. They all thought we paid a small fortune for this wedding. Paying a reasonable fee no longer has to mean skimping and cutting corners thanks to The Bella Sera. You CAN afford your dream wedding and should give them a shot if you are getting married in the Denver area. I will forever be grateful for this wedding that I never thought I would be able to afford and to the staff that treated us like royalty the whole time. Never once did I feel like just another customer to them. I felt like I was the only one they had even though they were booked the entire week of my wedding. I just can’t say enough about them. If you read this girls — -Thank you a million times over.

The staff and coordinator did a wonderful job helping me with my wedding. I was venueless less than 3 months before our wedding, and Bella Sera was able to get us in, and everything planned in that time. They worked with us, for everything that we already had, and were very friendly.
The day of Sari, and her beautiful staff, were wonderful. They made sure that we were running on time, if we needed anything, and constantly keeping us updated on where the groom, or bride was. We did a DIY wedding but they still thought of the small things like water pitchers in the bridal suite, greeting guests and helping round up family for pictures. A very affordable, and elegant place for any event!

We attended a second wedding at Bella Sera and thought it was beautiful not sure other review was of same location. The staff was amazing. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone planning a wedding that they want to be special and beautiful!

My daughter and son-​in-​law were married at the Bella Sera this summer. It was a beautiful wedding and reception — everything went very smoothly and flowed naturally, thanks to the staff at The Bella Sera. They were very attentive to even the smallest of details and worked incredibly hard to make their special day perfect in every way. We would highly recommend this venue — it is a beautifully unique place with a lot of charm and the staff and owners were wonderful to work with all the way through, from our first visit to the big day! We got lots of compliments from guests about the wedding and reception. And lots of great photo opportunities!

Are you kidding? This place is a dump.
Carpet is coming up all over the place, and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since it was built. Molding is missing all over the place, and paint is chipped everywhere, even where people can’t reach. There’s (obviously) fake grapes and vines hanging all over, and they are dusty and faded. The bench in the front of the lobby is supposed to be where brides have their photo taken, but I would never let my white dress come near those nasty pillows.
There’s no room in the bride’s «suite» to get ready, really just a small bathroom and a hallway. The bathrooms for guests are missing stall doors and the tiles are stained. Parking is unpaved and across the street surrounded by the industrial plants. The route to get there is ugly, and I Googled multiple ways to get there for a prettier trip.
Really, this place needs to be torn down. It’s in awful shape, in an awful location. The owners would be better off trying something else in another area.
