If I could give a 0, I would. Worst service ever. We ordered about 30mins before they closed last Thursday, things we ordered he kept claiming they didn’t have nor have they advertised it even though we were looking right at the menu online. At the end of the call(after we had already ordered everything) they said to hold on. 5mins later the line hung up so we called back and no answer. This is like literally a 5min walk from my apartment so we walked down and the door had a closed sign that we had just seen him flip-10 full mins before closing. He wouldn’t make the order and was a total ass. So, today I went in to complain instead of writing this, thinking that it was just someone who worked there and wanted to skip out early but turns out it was the MANAGER bc he was the same guy there today who worked on Thursday(even by his own admission) but claimed to not remember(how can you forget pissed off ppl at your door who you closed the door too. Either the guy is an idiot or a liar(in my opinion both) and my suggestion is to steer clear of this place for the lack of effort and previous poor food quality alone. Shame on this«manager», go work at McDonalds if you don’t want to give a shit. If I were the owner Id be pissed.

I don’t know how this place stays in business, especially next store to Mashawi. Drunk, high, stupid, low standard college students from BC are the only lifeline for this dump. Fries from a bag, desserts from a box, almost nothing is made by hand, ingredients are low quality, the falafel is a hate crime to Middle Eastern food, interior is unclean and unkempt: whatever this restaurant was trying to be at some point, it has long lost its way. This place has been in my neighborhood for the 8 years I’ve lived here, and while I still go here every four months just to see if they’ve gotten their shit together, it’s always a waste of $ 20. Your standards for what constitutes«food» have to be pretty low, and you have to be fairly desperate to eat here on regular basis. Go next door and get real, homemade food.

I’m surprised at all the negative reviews of this place. I have ordered delivery via foodler several times, and it has always been fast delivery and consistently good food. the garden vegetable flatbread pizza is awesome and very unique; thin, crispy, lots of vegetables and tastes nothing like any other pizza in brighton. the breakfast sandwiches are also decent

This place had always been to my go to for take out until this afternoon I placed an order then called 2 minutes later to cancel the order because I had to unexpectedly leave my residence. It was 2 minutes between ordering and calling and I was told they would not cancel the order. I was beyond baffled how they would not honor this request. Anyways, they took my $ 35 without providing any service. I will not be ordering from here again.

Every time I’ve ordered a quesadilla it has looked really different. Its cheap though and not bad for the price. I wouldn’t make an effort to come here but if your feeling lazy and its the closest thing to you then it’s worth it.

I ordered from Andalus last night after not having ordered from them for several months. Let me preface it to say that I have been ordering from them periodically for many years now. Last night I once again requested quesadillas to be mild. The ingredients are listed and nowhere does it say they use a sauce on them. I have had them many times and a sauce is typically not used. The sauce on it was spicy and I was unable to eat it. The restaurant claimed the sauce was mild and would not bring me a new order or refund me or credit me at all. Another dish ordered was pasta primavera and that had 2 pieces of chicken in there while it’s supposed to be just pasta and vegetables. That’s not something a vegetarian wants to see in a dish that’s supposed to be without meat. I was disappointed that the management doesn’t seem to care at all. I will not be ordering from them again. There are too many better options out there with management who truly care if something isn’t right. No need to waste money on this place.

Ordered a pita roll up. Wasn’t too bad, a little bland. I opened it up to take out some lettuce halfway through the meal and there was a good solid black curly hair sitting in the middle of the wrap. I understand we’re humans and hair is everywhere but seriously learn some proper food handling techniques. I brought it to the attention of the cashier and walked out. First and last time I’m coming here.

The girl and I have ordered a lot over the years. Always been our go to, not so much because its that amazing but its consistent and close. Why the sudden drop to one star? The last delivery we ordered was what we expected. What we didn’t expect is the next night the delivery driver started TEXTING my girlfriend asking for tit pics and to come over to his place. I called him using her phone and his suave player voice quickly hung up when he realized he was talking to an enraged boyfriend. I called foodler and the local PD, but since no crime was committed they can’t do anything. So, this human stain now has my girls number(which we are changing) AND our address. Looks like I’m installing surveillance cams now. I’ve warned my neighbors to keep an eye out as well. Its really shaken the idea for delivery from anywhere all together. Do not order from here. Pick up, and never give your number or address.

There are so many different ways I could begin this entry; there are so many different ways to approach this. I may consider offering a future review to cover everything that I will inevitably leave out here. I am presented with a slew of choices and a wealth of experience because this is the nearest and most convenient place for me to get food when I visit K; it’s directly across the street and I’ve found that for the price and the proximity no amount of poor weather can keep us from here when we are lazy and hungry. I could speak about what it means for this to exist as merely a waypoint, one of those placeless places as I would never imagine sitting down to eat here. Not that it’s unwelcoming, but no amount of comfort can surpass a couch and a pair of pajamas. This existence as a nonplace — or maybe an antiplace — has been heightened since we realized we could order pickup through Foodler, so now I(it is inevitably, always me who fetches our food) spend even less time there than I have before. What does it mean for it to occupy so much apparent space yet be a space I rarely, or only gesturely, inhabit? I could speak about the conflict between the apogee of convenience and the, to be frank, mediocrity of the food. Again, nothing offensively bad(other than the burgers and the downright insult that is their so-called«Belgian» waffles(eggo waffles heated to room temperature with fake syrup))), but I would describe the food quality as utilitarian. At the same time this comes stingingly as its proximity to one I so love and the frequency of our enjoying its advantageous location, anything but a glowing review of the food quality almost comes as a condemnation. But to report anything else is a lie. And so the best way to approach this, for now, is to wonder at how one’s family grows, what it means to be a family. Without a doubt, there have been times when we’ve relied on Andalus and in those times it has faithfully delivered. I used gestural earlier and that’s apt — it’s one of this square’s limbs as much as the laundry and Chansky’s and without it the meager square would suffer, even founder. Importantly, it has woven into our history as an integral if not exactly vital thread. This is a three star review, but I will come back again and again. It’s part of my story, now.

The most horrible pancakes I’ve ever tried… Seems like they add the whole pack of backing soda in one serving, very bitter after taste

Very simple order.3 cheese Pizza, add feta, extra sauce on whole thing. Which I repeated 3 times. Please make sure there is extra sauce. It’s the driest pizza I’ve ever eaten. Barely any cheese, NOSAUCE. No lie, my dog started choking on it frozen pizza would be light years better…

Gah!!! My taste buds!!! I ordered Andalus from Foodler yesterday. I was not happy. I ate it anyhoo, because I was hungry and didn’t want to wait for a driver to come out and fix my order. I ordered the Western burger or something and some clam strips. They gave me a choice for how I wanted my burger cooked. I chose medium rare. When I got it, the burger was well done and the clam strips had so much breading on them, that I’m not even sure if I ate any clams. The best thing was the fries, but you know… they were fries. I’ve tasted McDonald’s burgers better than this. It was bland and seemed to have been squashed down by some sort of press or a hurried cooks hands. I wanted to branch out and try a new place, but this place was a mistake. I paid over $ 20 for one person. If it was $ 15 or less, I may have given two stars, but the combo of bad food at high prices made the experience worse. Maybe their pizza is better. I dunno, but with all the good pizza places around here, I’m not going to risk it.

Me and my girlfriend order from here because we LOVE their froyo. Their delivery is so quick. We ordered 2 frozen yogurts and 1 drink and they delivered it in under fifteen minutes. What spectacular service! We’ve also had their pizza, sandwiches & salads. All are very good! I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I got this for delivery. The pizza tasted as though it was made of cardboard. Very thin cardboard. However, cardboard probably tastes a bit better. Toppings included a microscopic portion of tomato sauce and 12 pieces of shredded cheese. There may have been a crumb of meat on there, I’m not sure. That may have been a bit exaggerated, but this was seriously the worst pizza I have had in my life.

This is a good late-night, low key hangout with really good food. Andalus is open til midnight, with plenty of seating. My group ordered fries, fried zucchini, and Nutella froyo. It took some time to get the food, but it was fried right away and so good. Zucchini was alright, but those spicy fries were so yummy. BUT! It’s really the froyo that was the best. Go try that please! :) There is couch seating near the front and also table seating. Staff was friendly and polite.

I ordered a few things from here before… today I ordered mozzarella sticks and the temperature of the cheese was room temp, solid and not even slightly warm. I called to complain and they refused to offer me a refund or replacement. Apparently if your customer is not happy with your service it doesn’t matter they should have to eat subpar food. If you don’t like eating cold food don’t order from here…

— Internet needs a password. — The workers are whatevers. Not all that welcoming or friendly. + Breakfast is served all day(but Andalus only provides free coffee with breakfasts on Sat/Sun). The ham, egg & cheese was solid, filling, and very reasonably priced.(so unlike the froyo) — Froyo gets pricey real quick. My chocolate cheesecake toblerone froyo was appetizing but not something I’d be ordering again for that price($ 5 – 6). No clue if they make the ice cream the same as Angora Café but I prefer Angora’s — granted, i’ve never ordered a chocolate cheesecake toblerone there. I prefer JP Licks, Cold Stone, White Mountain, etc for the price/quality. I prefer Angora Café as a study/lunch spot. Better décor, service, food, study environment, etc. Still, I’ll probably give Andalus another try simply cause its ridiculously close & convenient to where I live.

In my opinion, this is some of the best pizza in the Allston/Brighton area. Only experience is picking up through GrubHub or Seamless(whichever has a coupon at the time), but my order has always been hot and ready when I get there. The sauce is on the bland side, but the ratio of cheese/sauce/crust is great. There is a rather tasty element to the crust(and I’m not normally a crust fan) that I can’t seem to put a finger on.

So, my love for Andalus just keeps growing. I thought the breakfast sandwiches were good until I met the BBQ Flatbread pizza, aka my new husband. I’ve ordered him a couple of times just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke or something. He is fo’ real! He is supposedly 400 calories which i am skeptical about because he is HUGE ifyaknowwhatimean. I can house half of one of these bad boys but the other half comes with me to go. The first time I ordered the flatbread and payed my $ 8 i felt like a chump. Since it was advertised as less than 400cals I really thought it was going to be like 4 inches in diameter. When the beast of a pizza was delivered to me, I was really surprised. It’s a tortilla’ish crust covered in cheese, bbq sauce, reduced fat cheese, and tomatos. I like adding onions on there too, my husband doesn’t seem to mind my breath. Andalus has free wifi, is right next to Chansky’s and a laundromat, is near a gym if your hubby is making you chubby. You should check it out, but you betta step off my man!
