Whether you’re a local, a tourist, or a longtime summer resident, I definitely recommend stopping in to Bridgton Books!
I’ve been going to Bridgton Books since I was a kid, but only recently did I realize how unique they are– their selection is awesome, the owner can basically figure out what book you should next read based on your likes/​dislikes, and they have this funky independent bookstore atmosphere. They also don’t pressure you to buy like many bookstores do — which makes me all the happier to go back and continue supporting them.
Parking is in the back, where BB has a whole lot. While Main Street is great during the winter, it’s quite the squish in the summer.
