so happy with these folks took care of my older dog immediately very caring staff and doctors, regained my faith in the veterinary practice! Prior vet was a nightmare they made me feel at ease with the kindness and patients they had thank you every one!

This is our first time here and I can’t imagine a better place to bring our pet to… This place is nice and clean, everyone is friendly and our experience was truly wonderful!

We received antibiotics for our pet and due to a technician’s error we ran out of our 2 week meds, 1 week after we started. We called and they apologized, offered to rectify the error and gave us another week of antibiotics, however they didn’t give us another week more they only gave us half a week more. the very next morning I call and the technician Joanne rudely tells me that she gave me enough and that I don’t know how to measure my pets medicine (I’m a healthcare professional and I administer medicine to patients on a daily basis). She then proceeds to tell me that I need to squeeze the bottle because it’s all in there and hangs up on me.
I go to the office after I get off the phone with her and she starts to scold me aggressively telling me that she gave me more than what’s in the bottle and that she’s sure and that I don’t know what I’m doing… after she rudely and reluctantly agrees to refill it she tells me «by the way, the manager’s name is Sue if you need to speak to her» with a sassy challenging attitude.
It’s really a shame they hire incompetent miserable souls like Joanne that stain the reputation and ruin the experience of such a wonderful facility with caring and hard working staff.
Sue, the manager apologized for the poor experience and said she was sorry I felt that way, which bothered me because it’s not about how I feel, it’s how her tech actually treated me in front of other staff members and clients. I understand we all make mistakes but it’s not the mistakes that bothered me it’s the lying and handling of the situation that really ticked me off. I certainly don’t feel comfortable bringing my cat to this facility as long as that incompetent and rude technician works there. It left a horrible taste in my mouth and it was very very disappointing because I truly loved the way our first visit went and how wonderful everybody was towards us.

I am so pleased with Spooky’s care. She has major travel anxiety which in turn gives me anxiety to bring her anywhere. As soon as we arrived we were directed to the cat waiting area where the tech sprayed a calming spray on a towel and placed it over the crate. Within minutes Spooky was calm and much more relaxed. The tech and Doctor were knowledgable and took great care with my cat. The exam took place right in the room with me, and she was brought into a separate room to have blood drawn, which took less than 5 minutes. I was not pressured to have any services performed and I was explained all of my options before choosing, including the costs. When it was time to leave, they let me keep the towel and spray more of the calming spray so Spooky could have a calm ride home. I’m very satisfied with the care Spooky received.

If you are looking to find a vet/​staff who will love your baby as much as you do stop looking. Somerset Veterinary Group is the place you should be. They are attentive, caring, so knowledgable, and nice to humans and pets! Dr. Miller and JoAnne did an excellent job with my dog Jameson, even talking to him before moving the stethoscope so he would be less nervous. They were absolutely amazing. I drive 40 minutes to see them and I would do the drive every day of it meant Jameson was getting their care! So happy Somerset Veterinary Group was recommended to me!

Somerset Vet Group has cared for our dogs for over 25 years. They have treated our pets as family. They are the best!

Always great with our two boys. Our basset hound hates the vet and getting his nails cut and they are always so sweet and good with him and can easily cut his nails when no one else can. We like everyone there very nice and loves pets

I”m a new patient here and saw Dr. Wallin. She was nice and professional. She explained things in a concise way and her diagnosis and prognosis were correct. Nothing blew me away about this veterinary group, but overall a fine experience.

I was not very impressed with this practice. I felt I was not treated professionally and was presented with a proposed bill for $ 1270 to treat a stray cat found. The ear infection was a concern of ours but to ask such a high bill was not appropriate. I had to negotiate a more affordable care for the cat. I was then presented with a bill about half of what I was first approached. In the end I paid for minimal care and sought other vets and treatment options.

We all love them — especially the critters. We have brought three generations of our dogs and cats to them for many years and have always been very happy with the care and treatment we received. On the few occasions we tried someone else, we were quick to come back to them.

The people at this place really care about our Harley. From the first day we walked in, they made such a big deal about our new family member. The receptionist even wanted a selfie with our new pup. They are flexible with that vaccine schedule and open to spreading them out. Every professional has been top notch. Thanks for making Harley feel so important and for making him mommy and daddy feel so proud!

Hello! So even though I was not able to go with my boyfriend (Jason) to the veterinary hospital with his dog, BlackJack, I was able to hear how happy Jason was over the phone! He mentioned how ecstatic he was to see how happy BlackJack was throughout the time of the visit! According to Jason, all of the girls there were extremely wonderful and were kind to his BIG ol’ puppy. :) I’m sure BlackJack wasn’t mind that factor either, because he was receiving all of the attention AND treats! When Jason was with the veternarian (Colleen Miller; I’m not sure if he told me the correct name), I asked him to describe me the vet.
He told me she’s a blonde in her late 30s, and she was really good in describing the reasons why BlackJack was having his symptoms. She gave Jason some really useful tips on how to proparely care for his pet. Unlike BlackJack’s old vet, Dr. Miller was a sweet woman who really took the time to accommodate for BlackJack when his thighs & hips were hurting him. She actually evaluated him from where he was sitting, and went from there. The service that was provided here was beyond exceptional! It had definitely exceeded Jason’s expectations. He will definitely be letting all of his friends and coworkers know what they’re missing out on for their beloved dogs/​pets.
In addition, when asked for a printout of the visit, Jason was given a PRINTED OUT paper of everything that was done, given, and noted. At the end of the visit, it costed $ 480 without pet insurance. Even though it was expensive, but in the long run, it was worth every penny for the quality of service that they had brought to the table today. Along with a full body check-​up with blood testing for heartworm disease, BlackJack was given a month’s supply of thyroid pills and a year’s supply of heartworm medication to prevent the disease. In two weeks’ time, he was be heading back to the hospital for a follow-​up (All ready included in price).

I used to bring my 2 cats to the Pluckemin office. Both cats were misdiagnosed for many many years.
Although the staff is very friendly, they are strictly DOG people.
