Gel and Spa Salon

I really enjoyed going to this salon for a gel manicure in the beginning. They staff was always friendly and they were extremely helpful when it came to finding an appointment. However after going there for three months they began charging me $ 10 more every time I got a refill. I confronted the owner and she insured me that they were not charging me different prices. I went back one more time only to be greeted with rude employees. Needless to say I am not going back there. I gave them 3 stars because they do a nice job but I would rather not be around the rude people.

I been here a couple of time, the first time was great, My nails were done by the owner-​Full Set, they looked amazing. So I went back but it went down hill from there, I went again for a fill and it looked horrible, I also hate when they try to recommend or sell you more and ask multiple times which was done. The last time I went I got a pedicure and from that experience I will never return, she butchered my feet, she cut them so bad it hurt for over a month and she also there was nail polish all over my skin. The massaged was terrible she literally massaged my legs one hand on each leg at once for 1 minute, there was no TLC here. And mid pedicure one of her customer comes and she rushes even faster. Also a pet peeve is when the nail tech kept stopping and answering the phone and make appointments.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. They always seem to be in a rush. And they did not honor the 10% discount they have here on Unilocal

Though this nail salon is very nicely set up I have never been treated so rudely and by the owner. I called in the morning for an appointment and they were easily able to accommodate. When i got there I picked out a color and they brought me back to get my pedicure. I was soaking for a good five minutes before someone came to actually start on my nails. I had brought my daughters with me and had asked what was the Wifi password so I spell out to my daughter. Then The owner shouted at me that I was spelling it wrong but I wasn’t. So rude!!! After she finished my toes someone else brought me to the chair to get my nails done. She said sit in the first chair which I did. Then again the owner came and again barked at me again telling me I was in the wrong chair. Then told me Rudely to sit in a different chair. Thankfully she wasn’t the one doing my nails. I proceeded to finish up my nails with another person. I was so upset and aggravated that someone would be that way to a paying customer. Needless to say I will not be returning to the place ever again.

I had my nails done on Saturday and came in for a mani/​pedi. Fully intended on getting SNS done. The manager, while very pushy, seemed helpful and convinced me to get a regular gel manicure instead. The gel manicure chipped and was very flimsy so I went back to get it fixed and completely redone on Tuesday. I got SNS done which is much stronger for my nails and when done correctly (as I’ve had it in the past/​though at a different salon) will last me 3.5 weeks at the earliest. It’s now 4 days later and one of my nails completely chipped and it looks like the top layer of gel (protecting the SNS) is peeling off. I’m very upset with this place, and the customer service. I’m out of town for the next 10 days so I can’t even go back there so they can fix it a second time. For the record, I did have a pedicure done on that first visit which was nothing special but they didn’t screw that up so that’s why I am still giving them 2 stars. Still, I’m never going back to this establishment.

After a bad experience at another salon I thought I had found a new place. I’ve been here a few times for manicures and pedicures over the past year. I feel like the quality has started to go downhill. It is clean, yes. But on my last visit for gel polish I had bleeding cuticles and a rushed manicure. My thumb nail chipped 2 days afterwards — it was weird and it like cracked off rather than chipping. I went back and asked that it be fixed. I was told repeatedly it was my fault it chipped but it was repaired free of charge. Well, 2 days after I had it fixed, it chipped in the same place and was still wet under the top coat.
My other experiences here have been ok but the quality is generally declining. I think I’ll be finding a new salon.

If you’re going to get your nails done go to Tracy. She takes her time and actually listens to what you want done with your nails. I’ve been in there before and was told that my nails can’t be short, even when I need them to be for work. Gracie is gentle and caring when it comes to getting your nails done.
I’ve only had a pedicure done one time here, not sure by who, but it wasn’t great. There was barely any foot massage and my feet didn’t feel all that different for a basic pedicure. I may try it again in the near future but probably not.

I went in very nice have tons of colors for gel manicures they take your gel off very nice everything was great except I picked a nice peach color and about 3 days later most of my nails chips and just kept getting worse don’t know if it’s the place or just that polish just never went back

I got a gel manicure at this salon. The color looks great and so do my nails, however my manicurist (Tracy) was too rough with my nails. In fact, she was so rough while picking at the skin around my nails that she cut me twice and I ended up bleeding. I had a rather painful manicure after that. The service is good and the manicurists do a thorough job from what I saw, but this particular experience was not enjoyable at all. Also, I had made an appointment and she told me she would give me 10% off, but when I was ready to pay she decided that it wouldn’t be fair to her other customers, and they refused to.

My first time getting a Mani pedi (I do them myself) and the experience was very relaxing, but they did a horrible job with the polish. My friend got a mani pedi too from the guy who works there but hers was messy too. They missed spots on my nails and shaped them VERY uneven. The massage chairs and pedicure were relaxing and they had coffee for customers (they only offered me water but that’s okay).
Bottom line, if you’re trying to relax, it’s a great place but if you care about your nails appearance, this isn’t the place for you. Make an appointment, even if you call the same day or else you’ll be waiting a while. Price for a man i pedi was $ 35, which is the cheapest I’ve found in the area. Probably won’t go back unless I’m trying to relax and get a short foot massage.

Omg! I’ve know Dani the owner for probably 3 years when she use to be in the mall. I love love her new location! Dani and husband are so accommodating and have a beautiful salon, one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. I have gel french nails and work with my hands a lot and they never chip or break they last perfect for a month! She is a true artist always making beautiful creative designs. I have an insane sceduel and she always makes time for me and makes me happy. That says a lot because I am hard to please. I am so happy she is finally in her own place and running an amazing business I’ll never ever go anywhere else!

My mom introduced me to this place as she is a loyal customer. The ambiance of the place and quality of the service is what really keeps me going back. Friendly and professional staff that take care of each client by devoting their attention to them.
I am a regular here for a gel manicure and at $ 25 it is absolutely worth the price, they give you the full manicure service ending with a warm lotion massage and my nails do not chip and last for the full two weeks. I have had cheaper gel manis but I have learned that you absolutely get what you pay for.
Gel & Spa is set up the way that a nail salon and spa should be.

So I got a gel full set. I’m not really happy with the look. I kinda think they look like «bad veneers» for nails. I went with gel because I thought it would look more natural. But the nail bed just seems sooo thick. I got the tips bc I wanted more length. Hmmm. Maybe it’s the color? But I have the same color on my toes and love it. Currently debating going back for a redo or just going somewhere else. Pic is after I asked to have the edges filed more narrow. :-/​
This place is beautiful. I come here often for pedicures and eyebrow waxing. Just kinda disappointed bc I think they missed the mark on my nails.

This is my favorite salon in Bridgewater and in the surrounding area. I’ve been going here since they opened up last year and I’ve never had an issue.
Danny is always so nice, she makes sure that all of the customers get what they want. This salon is very, not like other salons in the surrounding area. Gel & Spa gives you a real spa experience because it’s so relaxing. It is a bit pricey, but you’re paying for the quality. I’ve tried a lot of salons in this area and my nails always become ruined and/​or just fall off. I’ve never had that problem with Gel & Spa because all of the ladies take their time to make sure you’re good.

Love this place!!! I’ve been there about 3 times and each time I go they do a fantastic job. They staff is always very nice. The place is very clean. It’s very relaxing and the staff takes their time when doing your nails unlike some places that make the experience rushed. I was able to sit and relax while getting my mani and pedi. Definitely the best place in the area.

I’ve visited this salon to get my eyebrows waxed however today was the first time went for a mani/​pedi. I felt so pampered!! Danni stayed a half hour past closing to do my nails. She really took her time with and you can tell she takes pride in her work!
I’m only giving it 4 stars because the gentleman who did my feet made me embarrassed about my feet. I’m pretty active at the gym (and I do run) so they take a beating. In saying that, he did a ‘delux pedicure’ at a normal pedicure price.
Overall I’m very impressed and I’ll be coming back.

I went here as an emergency for a last minute manicure and the lady who did my nails was beyond RUDE! She plopped a basket full of gel nail colors which had over 100 colors in it and wanted a decision 30 seconds later… the other female customers next to me laughed nervously and kept rolling their eyes at her… I take it they already got accosted…
I got there 2 hours before closing and just needed a gel mani which takes 30 mins usually… she did a wonderful job with my nails and the color but… she was furiously filing my nails and getting super rough pulling my hand and picking at my skin.
At one point she asked me if I hate filing because she can’t stand filing either and that she doesn’t like the sound of it… idk lady sounds like you’re in the wrong business! Turns out she normally clocks out an hour early than closing time so rushed through everything. Might give it a second chance but if I’m going to spend my hard earned money on your business, at least give me a smile when I walk in. The whole relaxed environment they created got wasted by the unfriendliness.

A friend and I were looking for a place to meet up after work for a mani and pedi and noticed all the great reviews on this place.
The place is obviously new, very well decorated, and clean. The massage chairs, watermelon, and water was a very nice touch! Overall my pedicure was good with the exception of absolutely nothing being done to the bottom of my feet other than a two second scrub. I know a lot of places in the area depend on the add on callus remover but I expect some base pumicing to be done without that also. Also we were there very late so perhaps this was why but I was not offered the add on treatment either — even though I’m probably always super in need :(
The manicure was nice but I must have picked one of those chalky nail polishes and it bubbled a bit and bled into a lot of my nail bed. I pointed it out to her on one nail and she tried to fix it but unfortunately by the time I got in my car all of them on one hand were looking pretty messy!
Overall I’m hoping they work out some of the kinks to ensure good work to compliment the beautiful place and service. They have some very nice touches but compared to some of the salons I frequent some hot stones and more massage time are things I really enjoy most that they could improve. I will come back in a few weeks to see!

I love a place you can call for an appt and they honor it. They constantly make sure you are comfortable and are open 7 days a week! They also have so many gel/​nail polish colors to have matching toes and hands… also a plus! The manager is always greeting you and refreshments are a classy touch.
Vivian is my go-​to gal and this is the first place I can actually voice what I want, and it’s heard… thanks Gel & Spa! You couldn’t have come at a better time, all the places near the Finderne area are either too jammed or too upscale. Def worth a try if your in the market for a new place, in a hurry or it’s an nail emergency.
Ps…great parking is a sure thing!
