I just gobbled down best chocolate chip cookie sandwich of my life. Soft and gooey and oh so buttery and not overly sweet icing… DELICIOUS! My husband got a peanut butter cupcake and he is in heaven. We will be back!

I came to visit Pittsburg from Los Angeles, a place filled with every fancy new kind of bakeries and cake spots and to my amazing surprise I stumbled upon this bakery, had a custom order made and some of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve had in my life! Boy was I the hit of the party for bringing in this unbelievable custom designed Christmas cake!!! I have never had anything more delicious– better customer service and a more stress free experience! Thank u batter and dough! I will never go to get my treats anywhere else! I hope u ship to Cali!

Really disappointed! Came here to get cupcakes for a holiday party that same day after hearing really great things, and there was very little selection and the ones we did get were very stale and not good at all… Won’t be back. The girl working however was polite and helpful.

Just when you thought you had the worlds best cupcakes, you stop back into Batter and Dough and see what they do for holidays! The Halloween themed cupcakes at Batter and Dough, were beautiful, hysterical, and PERFECT for your holiday party. Spiders, ghosts, gruesome shards of sugar glass stuck into mile high butter cream, buttercream«brains», spooky eyes, creepy crawly ants and bugs, white chocolate spider webs, and my favorite… the bloody bandaid! hahahaha Can’t wait to see what they come up with for Christmas! Oh, and might I add… you don’t pay an extra dime for the time and work that went into the extravagant decorations!

I love this little bakery. They have great chocolate chip cookies baked daily, sometimes when I buy them they are still warm. They have a vast array of creative cupcakes in the most delectable flavors. I think I’m stopping in today for a dozen.

To start, the cupcakes at Batter & Dough Bakery are AMAZING! I give the cupcakes themselves FIVE stars because the cake is moist, the icing has just the perfect amount of sweetness, and the cupcakes are a good size for the $ 3 per cupcake price. The reason for the lower two star rating is the absolutely TERRIBLE service. My friend and I walked into the bakery and wanted for about 5 minutes before anyone came to help us. There was an older lady with a baby in the shop, sitting at the only table in the place, who kept yelling into the back that there were customers waiting. Two females came out later to work behind the counter. Neither was friendly and my friend and I actually felt like we were interrupting them by wanting to purchase their cupcakes. We asked about the biscotti since there are many flavors listed on their website and my friend is a huge biscotti fan. We were told«my husband makes the biscotti and he’s had a very busy week at work so he couldn’t make any» with a really smart attitude. Another lady came in to pick up cupcakes to go so we were holding our cupcakes in hand but unable to pay until the other customer was helped and paid for her order before us. After purchasing our cupcakes we asked if there was a restroom for customers and were very rudely told to go next door. Since there was only one table in the bakery, the older lady with the baby were at the only table and not actually eating or drinking anything from the bakery, we sat outside on a bench down the street to eat our cupcakes. After finishing our cupcakes, we wanted to get more to take home with us but were so turned off by the terrible service that we both just left. I will NEVER return and will not recommend the place to my friends or family members even though the cupcakes were fantastic.

Listen– I know cupcakes! These are the best cupcakes I’ve tried.(Dare I say rivaling Crumbs in NYC.) They have a nice daily selection(closed Monday). But also, if you have an event they’ll work with you to come up with whatever you want. They made cupcakes for our party & everyone was raving about them.

Absolutely delicious! I’ve been meaning to stop in for well over a year now, but I’m rarely in Bridgeville. I was today, though, so I knew I had to stop. I got a salted caramel cupcake that was so good it nearly brought me to tears. The cake was exceptionally moist and the icing was out of this world, and I generally don’t like too much icing. The woman working at the counter was very friendly, as well. Two minor things: finding parking was annoying. And another reviewer said that it was $ 25/dozen. It’s $ 30 now, but I think it’s worth the price. We only bought three(the other were chocolate peanut butter and peanut butter cup), and $ 9 was worth the price! If the three of us had eaten an entire dozen, I would probably be lying on the side of 50 in a sugar coma right now. A delicious, delicious sugar coma. It’d almost be worth it!

Lovely bakery! Clean, detailed and delicious! The counter girl was especially helpful in helping me and my daughter choose her wedding cake. she can be a bit difficult and the folks at Batter and Dough were patient and thorough. I was grateful… The cake was reasonably priced and our guests gave us a thousand compliments… We compliment Batter and Dough!

Amazing little bakery in Bridgeville. The best cupcakes I have ever tasted. The owners are very nice and are there to help you with any type of birthday or wedding cake you can imagine. I will definitely be back very soon to get more yummy desserts.

Wow! This little bakery is tucked out of sight but most certainly worth the trip and discovery! The couple that runs the place are very friendly and always willing to give you the full description of each of their uniquely thought out flavors of their gourmet cupcakes. My husband and I popped in after driving past and were pleasantly surprised to have a new favorite bakery. We couldn’t decide on just one flavor so we took a half dozen cupcakes home. Everyday we’ve shared a new flavor and haven’t found one yet that we don’t like as we have gone back. The kicker is, my husband usually hates cake!!! This will e the first year he doesn’t have a birthday pie! The cupcakes are moist, rich, and sometimes filled with a delicious surprise! The icing is just right, not too sweet, not too bland but they do range in different types. So far we’ve had peanut butter and jelly, vanilla caramel, chocolate chip, brown sugar cinnamon with cream cheese icing, burnt almond torte, and strawberry champagne. These flavors don’t even put a dent in all the other crazy flavors they have! If you’re in the bridgeville area don’t pass this place up! They also do cakes, cookies, biscotti, candy and pretty much anything else you ask for. We’ve only had the cupcakes so far though. Will try more despite the gym right across the street! ;)

This bakery is tucked away on a side street with appealing signage to make you want to check it out. We walked in to try the new bakery and enjoy our cheat day and saw a what would be nice display but it look like we had miss the cupcake raid earlier that morning. We were greeted and asked kindly for a description on their selection due to having no signage on their different cupcakes. After we chose our two cupcakes we were shocked when we were offered 4 for free since they were closing for the day after us. It was a great first visit! The cupcakes are beautiful and I tried the PB&J which was vanilla cake filled with strawberry yumminess topped with rich peanut butter icing. Definitely will get more!
