Despite the positive reviews, we had a horrible experience bringing our Volvo to University Foreign Car. We had a tune up and our timing belt replaced, brought the car home and it wouldn’t start the next day. We had it towed back, were told it was now fixed again, but when we went to pick it up it wouldn’t start. Paul was very defensive and got angry at us when we expressed concern on the car not working twice after we had been told it was all fixed and the car working perfectly before bringing it to University Foreign Car Repair. Paul then ended up replacing the temp sensor for free. Later we brought the car to another repair shop for regular maintenance and they told us they had to completely redo the timing belt work because Paul had not fixed an oil leak issue. Now they have to redo the other temp sensor work as well. They also said University put in the wrong spark plugs. What we thought we were saving by going to University Foreign Car Repair, ended up costing us much more. Maybe we were an anomally or sometimes a low price really is too good to be true.

University is a fantastic shop. Paul, the owner and operator, is very fair and honest and will get your work done quickly and at a good price. I started using University several years ago when I had an older Mercedes, but since then have brought in VWs and even our Fords and Paul always does great work. We use University exclusively and even continued to when we lived 45 minutes to an hour away at one time. The staff are all very nice and helpful and always willing to accommodate special requests and answer questions. Great prices, good value, honest people, excellent work.

I would have to recommended this shop. It’s mine. Please check us out. And let me show you why I think I rate five stars. We are a family owned family run shop that value our customers as much as our reputation.
