This place is clean and quiet. I’m here for a quick night stay. I’ve stayed her before and they have upgraded the rooms. There are students that stay here for various trades. The shuttle bus can get full, but the van drops off airport folks first, keep that in mind. There is a grocery store, Friday’s, and IHOP all within walking distance.

Both of these stars are for the two awesome guys that drove us in their airport shuttle. They were so friendly and sweet, just all around good guys. The 3 stars that I have not used are for the 3 lazy pieces of trash that were working in the lobby when our car battery died in their parking lot, who wanted to hand me a card to an autobody shop when I asked for help and looked at me like I was asking them to give me a new car, instead of a freaking jump. If those women happen to read this review for any reason, I hope your life is as miserable as your attitude. And I have no doubt that it is.

Drove straight here from Denver despite the bad reviews. Needed a place on the way to ATL that is affordable & pet friendly. Had an awesome experience. Shontelle at the front desk was extra friendly & helpful, the room was HUGE for the price & very clean. The neighbors were quiet on a Saturday night even! I highly recommend this place!

I was looking for a cheap place to stay in St Louis for the weekend, so I did the Name Your Own Price thing on Priceline and ended up at Homestead Studio for $ 20 a night. I knew I wasn’t going to get the nicest hotel ever, but, sheesh, I didn’t know it was going to be this bad. I was greeted with a musty smell as I went into the lobby. I didn’t really think much of it as I checked in. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and efficient. She gave us our room number and we went up to the third floor. The first thing we noticed was the horribly stained carpet and the poorly patched holes in the wall. Then the smell of cigarette smoke hit us. And it hit us hard. I think we both had a feeling of dread as we opened the door to the room. Much to our surprise, the room was clean and smelled OK. It had a faint musty smell but it was tolerable. The worst thing about the room was the way that sound carried throughout the building. It was hard to sleep through all the noise — people slamming their doors, various conversations, TV noise… It was a loud weekend. The staff was pleasant, the room was so-so, but the rest of the building is a run-down mess. All I can say is that I’m glad I only spent $ 20/night to stay there, and I won’t do it again.

for the price, not a bad place to stay. 36 bucks on the weekend. 17.5% tax is what hurts. A 65 dollar night becomes over 80 bucks. Airport shuttle is actually 23 hours: It stops running between 11pm and midnight. No continental bfast. Coffee service: fail. No worries. Close to airport. Service is very very good. Rooms are clean and the kitchen with fridge et al makes this the best value in town.
