Best Mexican food I have had in the Hudson Valley. Enough said. Try them. Service-good, ambiance– good, food-excellent.

I went here on june 4,2016 to celebrate my gf graduation. I had a party of 14 and i was completely pleased with everything they offered. Carlos(manager) was extremely accommodating. He offered the best deals and was overall professional and patient with all the questions and concerns i had leading up to the day. I opted for the $ 50PP Package which includes appetizer, main Course(anything on the menu), dessert and unlimited non achoholic drinks as well as beer, wine, sangria, and house drinks. They also offered a private dinning room for my party. The food was amazing. 14 picky guest that have never had maxican food ordered their dinner and just about everyone cleaned their plate. Perfect portions small sides with a big main course. All though it seems like the whole restaurant staff was helping, the lead waiter RAY was awesome. Answered all question regarding the food and drinks and very attentive. Lastly once everyone was getting ready to leave carlos offered a free round of shots which to me was the icing on the cake. Amazing job. I would definitely come here again whether is a party of 2 or 50!

The food was great, but the spicy guac wasn’t as spicy as we expected. The food came quickly, but the ambiance was minimal. Overall a good experience, worth going. Very casual.

We stopped here after soccer for Sunday brunch at 3pm. The host told us they weren’t serving brunch today even though it was supposed to last until 4pm. As we were paying our bill at 3:45, another family sat down next to us and ordered from the brunch menu with no problem. Please treat all customers equally, Riviera Maya. The food is extremely mediocre so we won’t be coming back anyway.

One of my favorite restaurants in Briarcliff. Staff is extremely friendly and prices are reasonable especially for the portions. The skirt steak is delicious but everything they make is really good as well. I recommend this place to everyone.

Food was good and service was quick and friendly. My only problem was the atmosphere. The lighting was awful. The green lights were a miss. We also went on a Friday night. Although there was a bar area, the locals sitting in the dinning room were loud, annoying and drunk, completely ruining the nice dinner setting. I don’t mind people having fun but when they are screaming in my ear it becomes too much.

Great service. Delicious chips and salsa. Obviously both homemade. The place is totally cute in décor and not packed in. Everything we ordered was very fresh tasting, hot and tasty. If we are in the area we will go back.

My meal at Maya Riviera was full of flavor, ambiance and dedicated service. I’ve been looking for an excellent Mexican option in Westchester for a long time and finally have found one! As Mr. Schwarzenegger said, «I’ll be back.»

Deliciously strong skinny patron margarita, guacomole, ceviche, and fajitas del mar. The warm cinnamony churros are delicious and stuffed with cheesecake. Service is always friendly, prompt, and management makes it a point to ensure you are satisfied.

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. My husband and I were greeted at the door and promptly seated.(We did make a reservation but were 15 minutes late). The restaurant is set up with three different areas: a nice large bar area(older crowd, and by that I mean not college kids), a large dining room where they have a live band on certain nights, and a cozy room with a fireplace. We sat right in front of the fireplace which was perfect for a cold January night. They have so much staff that the service is impeccable, and the waiters are all very charming and accommodating. I ordered the Strawberry Mojito and it was so delcious that I really wanted another. The chips and salsa were great, the salsa was fresh and tasty. For dinner I ordered the Huarache and asked for shrimp instead of chicken or beef which they gladly adapted for me. It was delicious and topped with bright, fresh avocado slices. Sometimes at Mexican restaurants the refried beans are the worst things on the plate and the rice is an afterthought. Not here. Here the beans were really good and the rice was light and flavorful. My husband ordered the fajitas with steak and shrimp. They come to the table smoking, sizzling and smelling so good that anyone who didn’t order them is now jealous. Needless to say, my husband polished them off and raved about how good they were. Throughout our dinner, other diners were ordering the fried ice cream for dessert, which is served with even more flair than the sizzling fajitas. So we decided to get in on the fun. The waiter brought us a plate carrying a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream that’s rolled in coconut. He topped it with Bacardi rum and set it on fire(ooooh, ahhhhh!). It gets better, because then he sprinkled cinnamon on top that also burned and danced around like little tiny embers all around the ice cream. Then the whole thing is drizzled with a chocolate sauce, before being placed in front of you to blow out the remaining flames and enjoy. And enjoy and enjoy! Wonderful place, I can’t wait to go back. If I had one suggestion for them it would be to make classier looking menus that match the restaurant’s ambiance and are easier to read.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Reasonably priced — you got that also. Weekend Brunch can’t be beat — Margaritta tasty and strong, Fajita delicious, capped off with yummy Hot Chocolate all for $ 15. Gotta love it.

I was hoping this place was going to be good Coming from CA to NY, I am learning great Mexican Food is hard to find. The Chile Relleno plate was expensive and disappointing! Not sure If I will give this place another chance

Wow Mexican food. They have an adjoining active bar with live Mariachi music on Friday evenings. Their chile rellanos or tacos are amazingly simple in presentation but excellent in taste. Love multiple dishes on their menu. They have additional outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant-a great place for a weekend early dinner or early brunch.

I’ve driven by this seemingly-sketchy-from-the-outside venue several times before finally giving it a chance the other day. Very spacious inside, but we agreed that the setup was strange and poorly laid out. Usually I don’t let things like this affect my dining experience, as I tend to focus mostly on the actual food, but this place had two open dining areas, one of which was small and cramped with eight or nine tables on top of each other, while the room we dined in had NOWINDOWS, six or so tables on top of each other, with the rest(75%) of the room sectioned off with the lights out, with unused chairs and tables all over the place. Bizarre. My date and I each began with different types of margaritas. Hers was a little too sweet and strong, while mine was sent back because it was face-numbingly strong. My replacement drink wasn’t as strong… but that’s because the bartender combatted the liquor by going strong on the sour mix(not fresh lime juice!). All of that aside, we DID enjoy the food. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, we skipped apps, and then shared then chicken quesadilla and the chicken mole, which was, despite the fact I really couldn’t tell if it was authentic mole sauce or not, freaking delicious. Our servers were attentive and nice, but overall, due to some of the earlier issues, this place gets only three stars… although I will give it another chance.

Great food. The beef is our dishes was very nicely seasoned. From Fajita to beef wedge sandwich all was good. We went to eat a good lunch and found that they had lunch specials even on saturday. You can get dishes and drinks and other combinations. The lunch sizes we ordered were quite big, so we took plenty home. Good meat and great taste.

Wonderful! Delightful! excellent food and atmosphere, highly recommend the outdoor courtyard with charming greenery and string lights. Chicken mole was perfect, mango salmon was refreshing and the appetizer sampler was impressive and a big hit!

I just moved to Briarcliff from the city and Maya Riviera is part of the mediocrity at best you get for food in Westchester. We did takeout and had the chicken fajitas and chopotle wrap with steak. It was pretty bland and flavorless. On top of that, it’s not exactly cheap. As far as workers, they are friendly and nice enough, so no complaints there. I do miss the city for food, especially the cheap dive Mexican places.
