The firm was founded in 2005 as a sole practitioner brokerage and has grown to an 18-​member office that serves residential needs throughout Westchester and the surrounding counties.

A strong Internet presence and commitment to being ahead of the technology curve have enabled the company to grow in spite of a slow housing market and recession.

From J. Philip Faranda:

I started the firm in 2005 out of a spare bedroom.

In 2006, I sold over 30 homes as a sole practitioner. In 2007, I personally lead the MLS with 59 single family sales & we hired our first agent. I started a real estate blog & agents began inquiring about joining the firm.

We moved to our current office location on North State Road in 2008 as the company continued to grow. As broker-​owner, I am in the top 5 agents in transactions closed out of over 7000 MLS member agents, & the company now has 18 licensees. I am the author of the widely read Westch​ester​RealEstate​Blog​.NET as well as appearances in the media (NY Times, AP, ABC World News to name a few) for market commentary.

The company remains committed to producing the best results for the clients through strong advocacy, & respectful, hard work. What we are doing to grow is working, & we continue to seek new ways to better the experience for our clients.
