Maybe if the guys stopped chatting and focused a bit more they could get my order right… Moved to Briarcliff and started going here DAILY before work for breakfast or for lunch. A few times I received delicious sandwiches. Then, it became a joke between my boyfriend and I to see what they get wrong in our order. I kid you not– the last FIVE times we went they messed up. It is laughable… Whether the sandwich was missing BBQ sauce or the side of fries was simply not made. The mistakes are always met with a lazy and uncaring «oh, sorry» and being daily customers, not to mention new to the area, we really expected better treatment. We spent money at this establishment daily for about 3 months. Haven’t gone back and won’t! Why spend money to have your order messed up each time? Pay attention to your customers!

I really question the 5 star ratings given to briar bagels. People have their opinions and individual tastes, but 5 stars-​not realistic. The people behind the counters are nice. The bagels barely get 3 stars. They are light, bread like and have a yeasty taste. If you get there past rush hour forget about getting a decent cup of coffee. It’s a do it yourself coffee station, with tepid coffee, and supplies not replenished regularly. As a customer, I don’t feel comfortable reaching for a milk carton out of the fridge.

First visit. Very clean. Great staff. salads are good.
But unfortunately these are not good bagels. They are the «roll with a hole» kind. Not the crusty outside, puffy, chewy on the inside that really makes a good bagel.

This is our favorite Bagel place, and we go every weekend. Bagels are fresh, veggie cream cheese is the best I ever had! Love the muffins and cookies! The place is very clean and staff are very very nice! :)

Great and friendly service. In my opinion, the Tuna is the best in Westchester. It’s never soggy, does not have a lot of mayo and is just about the tastiest tuna I have ever consumed. I have lived in Westchester all my life, been to many many deli’s and sampled their tuna and have never tasted an iteration as good as Briar Bagels. The bagels are fresh and not too large. Tuna Wrap is $ 8+ I’m not sure if that’s par for the course in Westchester, but to me, it does seem a bit expensive. Love this place! I make sure to go at least once a week.

Always come here for bagels when I am back home in NY. Love how fresh the bagels are, and the variety they carry. My favorites are everything whole wheat and pumpernickel. Great scallion cream cheese too!

I am here a few times a month. They know what they are doing. Friendly people anytime I’ve walked in, good selection of bagels, fast service and the food is prepared generously. Whether it is sandwiches or lox cream cheese they apportion things very well (that is– never stingy. I hate stingy).
I wish they weren’t closed so early– people do eat bagels after 3!

hands down the closest bagel shop I have found nearby… bagels sandwiches are cooked right up front and the service is the best.
After three years I finally found this place and now make a stop at least once a week… the bagels are fresh, sandwiches can be individualized and the owners are very nice and greet me each time I stop by to see her. Actually this is why I keep coming back! just goes to show customer service is priority…
Now the sandwiches get a salute! I try to get the Classic — which you will just have to stop in to taste at least once, but the classic on a wedge with lettuce tomato and bacon is exactly what you need. Its filling and filled with meat… you tend to keep eating it because you mouth isnt sure when to quit… its that good… this sandwich is a must!
