Hardscrabble Club

I’ve been playing at Hardscrabble for 4 years now and it’s one of the best club’s I’ve ever been to. Both of my children play in the quickstart program (which is run extremely well and very reasonable) and take part in the matchplay they offer on Sundays!
The best part is they offer transportation from tons of the schools in the area to the club after school.
I’d recommend this club to anyone, especially for kids!

Think long and hard before you sign up at this club. Talk to the members — those who are left. Where to begin with this review… This club has so much potential but the management and front desk staff are killing it slowly but surely. The premises are not being maintained. The rates are arbitrary and your bill — which you will not see unless you badger the miserable desk people for a copy — will be wrong and will contain overcharges. Good luck trying to recoup the money. The fitness equipment is ancient and unserviced. The classes are limited and extremely unprofessional. The courts are not maintained. Most of the pros have left to work at more professional facilities. The owner has his head stuck in the sand and his unpleasant front desk pit bull — Nancie No name — is possibly the rudest, nastiest saddest individual I have ever come across. Why this sad excuse for an employee is allowed to continue to work here is a complete mystery. Do not come here for fitness — you can do better elsewhere. And do not come here for tennis — go anywhere else — the rest of us will be joining you shortly. I wish someone had told me the truth before I paid the ridiculous and exorbitant Sign up” fee.
