I get take-out from here basically monthly, and I have yet to be disappointed. My family and I always get the chef’s combos, which are all really good and you get a ridiculous amount of food for $ 6-$ 8. I normally can’t even finish it. I love the General Tso’s, their crab rangoon, and don’t get me started on their pork fried rice. LOVEIT. I have never eaten in the restaurant before and I don’t think that will change, but I love it regardless.

Average Chinese and Thai food, however the servers are fantastic and entertaining and the portions are enormous. We know this affectionately as the«Chinese Diner» because of the atmosphere of the restaurant; it really feels like a diner that happens to serve lo mein instead of hamburgers.

After a few visits, I think we won’t be back. They have upgraded to table service, which is friendly enough, but the kitchen is S-L-O-W! The chicken wings were very good. Cashew Chicken was tasteless. Thai chicken was drowned in a sweet chili sauce; nasty. Pu pu platter was OK. Overall, the food is prepared by people who don’t have a real clue about oriental cuisine. I would avoid this, If I were you. This is NOT the national chain Noodles and Company.

Their yellow curry and peanut vegetable dumplings are as good as it gets. I am salivating right now thinking about it.

Get the Singapore noodles. They actually get it by air from Singapore every morning. Not really, but it’s good and different.

I have eaten at many a Chinese restaurants. This one is about as average as you can get. Everything was tasty but nothing stood out. For $ 28 we got a veggie noodles, drunken noodles, and 12 crab Rangoon. The rangoon was good, but everything else tasted about the same. For the price the food could have been packaged a bit better. My wife’s veggie dish leaked all over the inside of the bag. All in all an average rating for an average place.

Chicken in my curry was rubbery, but otherwise the yellow curry was good. WonTon chips were greasy and my spring rolls were fried. I am used to vietmese spring rolls that are fresh not fried. 2 of us shared entrée and appetizer, ate for less than 15 bucks and brought home leftovers. Not a terrible thing. Will go back again. v

This place has a farily large menu, good variety of items — mostly Chinese, but also(their version of) Thai. I especially liked their Wonton soup. If you’re in the mood for something other than the standard«all you can eat» chinese that’s so prevelant here in the Bangor/Brewer area, then by all means check this place out. — — — — — — — - Taste — 3 Variety — 4 Service — 3 Price — 3 Ambience — 4 Cleanliness — 3 — — — — — — — -
