Lazy J is a very quaint campground, plenty of trees and is situated right on a river. You can rent tubes for $ 5 a day and have a great time just floating down the river. Bathrooms were relatively well kept up considering. There’s a rope swing over the river that my kids loved going on.
Just be sure you confirm your reservations a few times before you get up there. There was a hiccup in our plans, and we made it work.

Nice forested campground next to a flowing river. Stayed in a tent site for $ 17 with showers and trash service. Debbie at the front desk was very open to letting us choose any of the tent sites available.
The only negative remark I have is that a long term resident, «Mary», approached me while talking to my spouse through the bathroom door. She was very very rude and claim she worked there but when I asked her name, she changed her mind, noting she was only a camper and «used to» run the camp. I can only imagine as to why she «used to» run the campground.
