Camp Kahdalea Chosatonga

The camps Kahdalea and Chosatonga are the 2 most wonderful places you could ever send your kid to; well worth the investment. My wife and I have 5 children — 4 boys and a girl– and ‘gosh’ we cannot say enough positive things about these camps. We are so thankful for the summers they have been there. The adventure and wholesome friendships they have experienced over the years have played and integral part in who our kids are today. Each of our children have spent 5 or more summers there and the 6 week sessions are the best to give them the full sense of who they are, what they can do and to build those friendships that will last a lifetime. What can we say other than «Wow, thank you Lord for places like this for our kids!!»

Truly an amazing place. A life changing adventure every day. We have found the staff year after year to be top notch in their attention and care for our children’s needs and safety. We completely trust them with our most precious gifts as roll models, mentors and caregivers. Our boys so look forward to going back each year, and they always come home a little more mature, more responsible, more thoughtful of others, more respectful and a lot more confident. David and Ann, y’all are incredible. Thank You!

Why Kahdalea and Chosatonga?
The owners are in the business because they love camp… and it shows. Many of the counselors are former campers who continue coming back to give back to a place they love that has had an enormous impact on their lives. Counselors are dedicated to speaking into the potential of each camper… by building confidence, drawing out talents, supporting passions, and laughing with them along the journey.
The atmosphere that ensues in the beautiful wilderness because of the people involved is one of remarkable growth, discovery, and play! Campers return home with experiences, skills, and outlooks that shape their worlds in wonderful ways.

I spent 7 years at Kahdalea and it completely shaped who I am today. Camp practically saved my life and I would not want to imagine the person I would be without the amazing people at camp, some of whom remain my best friends 16 years later. Thank you Anne and David for the incredible work and fun that that you do. I cannot speak highly enough of camp and I can’t wait until my kids are old enough to go. For 5 weeks out of the year you get a chance to have fun, get dirty and have awesome adventures while building your faith. It does not get any better than that.
