TM Installation

We purchased installation for all our appliances for after our remodel. TM Installation had good Unilocal reviews so we elected to go with them. Scheduling installation was very organized, with multiple stages to ensure we were ready for the install date. The results were not great at all:
The fridge was only poorly installed:
— The feet were not leveled, meaning the doors were out of alignment
— The hinge brackets popped off during install and one was sheared from a bolt completely.
— The doors were hitting the cabinet and, upon closer review after moving in, the bottom door was scratched.
Additionally, the gas cooktop was not secured properly at all and could easily be moved around in the cutout.
Some of these issues were raised immediately with TM Installation for resolution, but fixes were only partially — and somewhat begrudgingly — done.
Considering the pretty high cost for install (more than $ 1,000) I can’t recommend them.

We appreciate Travis’ update and willingness to respond here to our review. Based on this responsiveness to Unilocal,bumping to 2 stars.
However, the mitigating factors of the cooktop opening being «too large» and the «floor not being level» should have been caught by them during the «mandatory» pre-​inspection that was done. If it was, these issues would have been addressed. Indeed, if these items were caught during installation, these should have been relayed to us to address together.
The bracket being broken and the doors being misaligned isn’t something we should have to catch as homeowners/​customers. The Samsung tech that came out this week immediately saw these and pointed them out as a problem when performing a cursory inspection. He then balanced the doors and leveled the fridge correctly.
As for emailing directly, there’s only so many times we should have to continue to work with someone to gain a satisfactory conclusion. Each new appointment to return was not easy to arrange and the review reflects that amount of runaround.

By far, Travis is the most professional worker I had in my house when we remodeled. We went to dozens of different contractors and subcontractors however he was the most professional thorough worker that we encountered and would highly recommend him.

Great people, Great follow up, Great service. Above and beyond. Travis, Andrea, and the boys did a great job on our oven and hood! Highly reccomend!

TM installers are the best! They respect your property and insure that everything is done to spec. If/​When I buy another appliance I would only use them

I had not had a kitchen for 2 weeks when I called Andrea at TM, she was able to get me in 2 days after my appliances were dropped off, but I begged for an earlier date
and I lucked out she called me and booked me on the very same day as my appliances were dropped off. When the owner of TM and his assistant came to my home, they were professional, curious, knowledgeable, willing to work, very helpful to my husband and our plumber and they funny and nice. My plumber liked them so much he asked for their contact info and said he had never worked with better installers! I highly recommend TM, they are the best!

Great service from these guys. I needed to remove and re-​install a built-​in sub-​zero fridge to repair a leaking water line. The guys arrived on time, promptly fixed the problem and actually went above and beyond, fixing additional issues with fridge, leaving it in a better shape it was ever in. Would highly recommend them based on this experience.

TM Installation is the Best! They are SUPER meticulous. They installed our refrigerator and our stove. They even cleaned up every speck of dust when they were done.
