History

Established in 1986.

Headquartered in Maryland Farms, The Stanton Group, Inc. (SGI) was founded in 1986 by Debra C. Viol. Since inception, SGI has grown to manage over 1.5 million square feet of commercial property; a portfolio of office, medical, warehouse, and retail properties. In addition, SGI manages several notable commercial condo associations.

What most companies don’t realize is that we are more than a property management firm. We have assisted many clients with lease negotiations, project management, land, office and warehouse sales, mergers, acquisitions, development and have been fortunate enough to represent multiple tenant leases; placing tenants with landlords all over Davidson, Williamson, Wilson, Rutherford and Sumner counties.

Business Owner

Debra founded The Stanton Group, Inc. in 1986. She serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Broker and is responsible for all aspects of corporate operations, client acquisition and retention, new business development and customer relations. Now in its third decade, The Stanton Group, Inc. has grown to manage over 1,500,000 square feet of space.

Debra earned CoStar’s Top Broker award in 2012 and 2013, served as President of the Institute of Real Estate Management in Nashville, is a life member of the Commercial Awards of Excellence, named a «Heavy Hitter» in CRE, and is a charter member of Women in Commercial Real Estate.

She has been a «Woman Business Owner of the Year» finalist and Property Manager of the Year. In 2003, Debra was named as one of the «Williamson 25» and again honored in Nashville Business Journal as one of the «Women of Influence» in 2007.
