My first visit with my big guy Sheldon, large retriever mix. I can’t say enough positive things. Everyone is welcoming and so nice, the shop is immaculate and calm! Prices are very reasonable and all services are clearly explained. The staff obviously love what they do. Sheldon looks and smells fabulous, I could not be happier. We will return soon. I am so happy I found Pampered Pet Grooming Spa. You will not be disappointed!!.

They did an AMAZING job on my Samoyed. This breed is super high maintenance to groom for lots of reasons and mine was in bad shape. However, they were professional, curteous, and obviously knew what they were doing. They were honest and you cannot beat the price. I’m very satisfied and will be driving the 40 min from Livermore to come back to see them regularly. I also saw multiple dogs come in and be seemingly excited to be there (one ran right to the tub!) Which tells me they don’t stress the dogs out, they make it a great experience for them. Overall, this is a great find!

I took my two little ones in yesterday because of all the great reviews I read. When I picked them up they looked so cute. When we got in the car they were both acting very scared. The little boy then started crying and trying to lick himself. When we got home and I picked him up he cried out and I knew something was wrong. When I looked on his stomach, it was razor burned in two places. Later I saw a razor burn on his side also. I put moisturizing lotion on the burns and wrapped him so he wouldn’t lick the lotion. He has been hurting all day today.
I called them this morning to talk to them about this but got the guy that answers the phone. I told him what happen and he said, he would check who had worked on them. I haven’t heard from anyone since.
I am very skeptical about letting anyone groom them again and won’t take them back here again.

Took our 3 pets here for the first time a month ago & have taken them back for baths and the works. They all come out so clean and beautiful! Its amazing work they do since they come in filthy due to all the hikes I take them on. They are protective dogs as any other, and aren’t so fond of others company, but they love the employees here too! Always pleased with the service!

Pampered Pets employs an amazing staff of kind and dedicated professionals. It is very comforting to confidently know Bodhi is being so well taken care of when he is in their care! He always comes home a happy, sweet smelling, handsome boy! Five Stars for Pampered Pets and their amazing staff of animal lovers!

First of all I try to be fair about the places I visit as I realize that customer service usually means dealing with a bunch of people who expect 4 star service for a 1 star price, secondly I also realize if I was in their position you would see me on the news under the headline «armedl man holding hostages while pistol whipping arrogant, rude customer film at 11».but this place upset me on a couple of points. 1: We hadn’t been there before so we had to bring the vaccination records and fill out a bunch of paperwork before our raven (dogs name not a bird) got seen. We were there at 9 for our appointment and in the middle of taking care of us the lady had to take care of someone who claimed to have an appointment at 9 also. They had no record of that appointment AND THEY HAD TWO DOGS. They must have been regulars because the lady at the desk practically pushed us aside to take care of them at the same time. She kept apologizing for being confused (sorry but multi-​tasking leads to mistakes) but kept taking care of them too. THEY DIDNT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WE HAD THE 9AM SLOT. Ok so off we go to wait for them to call us that we can pick up our little girl. We wait and wait and wait. Now I understand its Saturday and they’re busy but they did say about 4 hours. We call them @ 2 which is 5 hours from when we dropped her, their answer was «She’s next» say what? 5 hours and you haven’t touched her yet, that’s not good, I expect that they may take a while but 5 hours and she’s not even been touched? When they did call us and we went and picked her up she looked gorgeous, the grooming was superb. We did notice though that the two dogs that came in at the same time and claimed to have an 0900 appointment were gone already, this makes me think that the regular customer was taken care of but the first timer (possible regular customer) was made to wait. Now I know you do have to take care of your regular customers to maintain your business but if you want to grow it you MUST take care of the new customer too. Overall a marvelous grooming, bathing and pampering for our little girl but not such good customer service. Will we go back? Maybe. If they had just put a little more effort into the customer service as much as the pet service then it would be a hell yes, now its a maybe. Expect great things from this place as far as your dog not so much for you.

This place does a great job with my dog. They are easy to call and get an appointment for the same week and also include a free teeth cleaning when you pay with cash. They are also very affordable and include a bandana for our dog and have her looking and smelling great!

This review is for the customer service experience only and NOT for the actual grooming services, since we did not experience them. I called on Sunday to inquire about availability for a nail trim for my husky, Thumper. I was told that we did not need an appointment; we could walk in on Tuesday during their regular business hours. This was most acceptable and Tuesday morning we set out in the rain to be there when they opened.
We arrived at 8:10 and were greeted by a dark office with a closed sign. I double checked their website for hours which stated Tuesday– Sunday 8 am — 5 pm. Unilocal listed the same hours, as well. I called them and someone answered (I guess phone calls are routed elsewhere, since no on was in the office). I told them I was disappointed and a bit upset that the office was not open. They informed me that someone should be there to open around 9 am. I let them know that this was unacceptable, especially since their hours indicated they should have already been open. At no point did the person on the phone seem concerned about my dog and I showing up with no one present; nor did they offer any sort of discount toward grooming services for this visit (or any subsequent visits if we chose to return). Since they did not offer, I inquired about some type of discount for the lack of professionalism (even a 5% one for a future visit would have been appreciated) but none was given. I was simply told that if I just waited until 9 that someone should be there and that they would ask the person if a discount could be offered. But there was no guarantee, and frankly no apology, that this could be done. I would have had to wait another 45 minutes for the business to open. Unbelievable.
I went back on Unilocal and found Doggie Depot which was just a few minutes away. I drove to them and they pleasantly accepted our walk in. Unlike Pampered Pet, they were open per their listed hours. Thumper and I left Doggie Depot before 9 am, freshly trimmed and they even squeezed in a brush/​blow of his coat, which was much needed and greatly appreciated. Doggie Depot did not have to accept my business, as they were booked out until February; however, they did anyway and earned a future customer.
Again, my review is for the customer service, I am sure the grooming and care of the pets here is fine. But service we did experience was so poor and unexpected. I do not believe we will make an attempt to come back.

Updated Review: The groomer showed up as I was pulling away, so I decided to go back in and give them a chance to redeem themselves. I was very happy with the grooming performed, and I was able to speak to the owner afterwards and she was very apologetic. She says the business is not as rigid as the guy on the reminder call made them seem, and she was very sorry that her employees were late this morning. She offered me some free services on my next visit as an apology. Between the Customer Service I received from the owner, and the great job they did on my dog, I’ll be going back again.
Original Review: Received a call yesterday confirming my appointment at 8am today, and the guy was adamant I had to be here on time. I showed up 15 minutes early, and here I am still waiting beyond their opening time. It’s about 8:15, they’re supposed to be open at 8.
Don’t be snippy with your clients about being on time if you can’t do it yourself… going somewhere else.

I have been a customer for almost 5 years now and I wouldn’t think to take my dogs to any other groomers! Very professional and the staff are the best. I have a Wheaton Terrior & a Bouvier and they both look perfect and smell so good after being groomed. They are AWESOME! I know my babies are treated with so much loving care when they are there. They go out of their way to fit me in when I call last minute and I appreciate that more than they know.

First time there. Picked up my girl Mara and she looked awesome! Very pleased!!! They shaved her too.

After my fur babies bad experience at another local competitor groomer in brentwood, I decided to try here. Her experience before was so bad that I get anxious anytime I have to put her through a nail trimming now. My girl has been here twice and does just fine. They’ve taken her in on a walk in basis both times and she’s usually done within 10 mins. When I took her in yesterday they were grooming a huge dog behind the counter. The huge dog was such a good boy and the groomer was great with him. The first time I took my dog in, I paid less than $ 18 for her nails to get cut. Yesterday they told me she needed her nails trimmed and filed so it would be $ 18 and I agreed she did need a file as well. I personally think trimming her nails should automatically include filing… that is miniscule compared to my dogs happiness though. We’ll be back.

Thank you to the staff! My dog Larry was a little scared at first since he is fully aware he doesn’t always enjoy a spa treatment, but when I picked him up he was such a happy guy! Nails trimmed, teeth cleaned, bath and haircut for $ 55 plus tip! His hair was evenly trimmed, his groomer was able to clean his teeth even though it’s not his favorite and he had a cute bandana! This is our new place! Thank you to the staff who made my dog feel so comfortable and so handsome!

The owner is really nice and my dog looks and smells AMAZING! Will be back! Much more caring then the big box store type of groomers.

We’ve been coming here for over a year and couldn’t be more happier! Great staff, great prices and they always do a great job with our dogs. Having an English bulldog requires a little bit of extra grooming knowledge and I couldn’t be happier!

We took our Belgian Malinois here for his first grooming last week. We just wanted his undercoat taken care of as it is getting hotter here! He was starting to look more like a Belgian Sheepdog than a Malinois! The ladies were very sweet and took great care of him. He looked exactly like we hoped! We will definitely be back with our two English Bulldogs as well! The ladies here were very knowledgeable about different special breeds as well which is a huge bonus for people like us!
Oh, and we paid $ 50 which is definitely reasonable for his size and breed. Wednesdays are $ 10 off, so we will definitely return on a Wednesday in the future!

We are new to the area and tried this place out on Unilocal recommendations. Great job Unilocalers because this place is great! Made a reservation online, they called to confirm the reservation and we showed up they actually had us down.
We had three dogs (Lab, German Shepard, and Husky) get the «bath and grooming» and they came out looking like champs and happy girls… About $ 40 a dog which is a great price… Most certainly we will be going back…

Just got back from getting my rat terrier’s nails trimmed. Brandy was super nice. I called this morning and they said come on down! Took just a few minutes and Skittles is happy… ;) We have hardwood floors so when her nails get long we hear tick tick tick tick LOL… but no more!
Our Vet was charging us 38.00 to get them trimmed (I know crazy) But Pampered Pets is only 15.00 but even more so friendly service, nice clean place!!!
Will go back again and again ;)

This is the first place I called to see whether I needed to make an appointment to get my Boston’s nails clipped. They said to come on in. It wasn’t like human nail shops that tell you to come in and you have to wait at least 15 mins anyways. Bevo was taken immediately to the back and came right back out with shorter nails. I did want them a bit less jagged so they happily took him back again to smooth them out. They did a good job, the front desk and lady that seemed to be the manager/​owner was super friendly.
They have pet goodies like treats, collars and pet attire. Parking is not a problem and you can go pick up a pastry next door at the French bakery. If I lived in the area, I’d bring Bevo back again for his treatment.

They did such a great job on my goldendoodle Max! We were in town for a week and he was way too hot (since we’re from Newport Beach, where it’s cool, he had a long coat.) We called and got in pretty easily and they were super friendly and accommodating. They made sure we were sure of the cut we wanted, which was a puppy cut.
When we got him he was super happy and his cut was perfect! They did an awesome job. Next time we’re in town I’ll definitely bring him back. Thanks so much for saving the day!
