The Monkey’s Treehouse

As toddler fight pits go this is probably the best pay one I’ve been to in this state. I’ll point out I’ve never paid, just have been invited to parties so I have no idea on the pricing.
The setup is cool, there’s a little town to play in, lots of toys scattered around, and a treehouse with a slide and climbing stuff and just a lot of fun stuff.
It’s unfortunately thoroughly been rode hard and put up wet though as you’ll find things that have been beaten to death by loving children past (such as the car elevators,) and some of the dolls look like they’re silently voicing «kill me, killllll me».
My daughter loved it.
That said, having been to a significantly better pay one in another state which is how I shall judge all toddler pits by, I’d suggest the addition of low toilets for the kiddos, another freaking bathroom as two for 30 kids + probably 20 adults is just painful, one-​way mirror in the party room so you could see what’s going on outside in the toddler wasteland, pizza, and one of my favorite additions of the best place ever — wine. Not sure that can be done in this state, but damn it was fine in Oregon.
That said, there are also not enough parent seats where you can see everything, and in one place you could there was a trash can.
Overall good for a two or three year old.

Took my 3 year old boy and 21 mo old girl here this morning. They both had a great time and played nonstop. So much to do for both of them! On a rainy morning, it was well worth the $ 8.50 each for admission.

Decent & typically open on holidays. But, the owner should put $ into the place. Most toys are in a state of disrepair.

Took my little one there for the first time recently. It was adorable and he really enjoyed it! I’m only giving three stars because of two reasons… First off, the toys were scattered EVERYWHERE… And that’s kind of ok, but they have EXTREMELY small toys that any child could choke on! It’s hard to let your little one play here and it hover over them to make sure they aren’t choking. Also, for such an adorable place. And PRICEY for what it is (monkey joe’s is cheaper and bigger), all the toys are BROKEN. Half of the ride in cars were missing steering wheels. It’s a business and you’d think their business would also include keeping toys in good condition.
With all of that being said, we will still go back because this area lacks a lot to do with children (other than parks, which we love!!!).

The Monkey’s Treehouse is our home-​away-​from-​home, especially on rainy or blistering hot days. The staff is always friendly, and they have some drinks and snacks for purchase in case you forget your emergency snack bag at home. One thing I like is that the setup is done well enough that I can take my laptop and do a little bit of work at a provided table while keeping at least one eye on both my boys. I have a 3-​year-​old who is really the perfect age and activity level to enjoy the place, and a 21-​month-​old (ok so usually I hate the _​_​-​month identifiers but for this type of review I feel it’s pertinent information) who is just a little small for the top tier of the jungle gym but perfect for everything else. My older one loves the climbing area, rope ladder, and biggest slide. My younger one loves the pretend area with the play kitchen, post office, etc. In my experience, the place is pretty darn clean considering what goes on there. EVERY time we’ve been, I have seen an employee walk around and «straighten up» about every hour or so. Last time, the employee had to ask some kids to stop throwing toys down the slide — I feel they keep it as neat as they possibly can, but you have to do your part as a parent and tell your kids not to just go nuts, too, folks.
In my experience, the parents are always pretty attentive and no kids have been just running around being horrible. In fact, in my opinion there are usually parents being WAY more attentive to their kid than I am. I’m not the «helicopter» type — I keep one eyeball peeled just in case my kid decides to grab something or hit another child, but I don’t follow them around the place. The common sitting area provides a perfect vantage point for watching out for incidents without having to micromanage.
We are new to the Brentwood area; we used to drive from Murfreesboro to come to the Monkey’s Treehouse. It’s really entertaining and my boys ask to go there by name several days a week (we have a year’s family pass). It’s a fun place and I’ll tell you a secret — it’s great for those days when you’re a freakin’ exhausted parent and you want to just sit down while the kids play in a safe environment. Bring a good book and some Teddy Grahams, kick back, and enjoy an hour of the most «free» time you may get all week!
Edited to add: There is also a spacious enclosed area for the 2-​and-​under crowd. We usually visit in the afternoon and it’s not that busy, but on really hot days or mornings when there are a lot of people, smaller toddlers can find respite in the «baby zone» with lots of padded toys, balls, blocks, and a small slide. This was worth mentioning because there are several other activity places in town that are great for kids but don’t have anything for smaller toddlers. It kindof defeats the purpose of going to a kids’ place if you have to hold or entertain one kid the whole time, yes?

My toddler loves it here. She has a lot of fun in the store section in the back and, because she just turned 2, she will go in the 0 – 2 section sometimes. They are making lots of money for sure. It is clean enough and good bathrooms BUT WHEN IT GETS CROWDED WE HAVE TO LEAVE– gets too rough and rowdy for my girl.

LOVE The Monkey’s Treehouse! The people working there are always so nice. My kids (ages 2.5 yo & 9 mo) really love it there. There is a separate area for my younger one full of activities. (Only thing I would suggest: corner covers on the tables). If you go online you can find pics of the place. My older one can stay all day. From the lightbox with magnatiles to the slides to the pretend stores in the back… this place covers it. There are even adorable murals on the walls and cute kids music going on. I do highly recommend it (if you couldn’t tell by now).
Bonus: it’s across the street from Costco. ;)

Monkeys treehouse has been our go to birthday party spot for two straight years. We have a 3yo and 5yo. All of their friends had a blast. Most importantly they get to be creative and run off energy. Another thing I like as a parent is the ability to sit in one spot and see and hear everything. You can’t do that at the bounce places. Love this place!

I drove an hour last week over to Monkey’s Treehouse. We used to go to the Bellevue location before it closed and decided to finally try out the Cool Springs location since my youngest was finally old enough to enjoy it. They were having an event I had heard about in an email where some people were going to be dressed up as Ariel and Spiderman, so my oldest was extra pumped. I was happy because I had a buy one, get one free coupon for admission. But when I got there, the woman behind the desk politely told us we couldn’t use the coupon on special events… that I could either pay full admission or come back at noon when the event was over. It being the last of the month, I seriously couldn’t afford two admissions so I left and drove an hour back home with two miserable kids. When I got home, I checked their website… the email… their Facebook page. Nothing that stated «No coupons for special events». I contacted the company and did get a lengthy and cordial response back saying they would work on more clearer wording in the future… which is why I am giving them two stars rather than one. However I refuse to go back. Too long of a drive to potentially walk away disappointed. I just hope they do let their policy be clearer so this doesn’t happen to others.

We were in town for business meeting and my daughter and I needed to kill time while my husband was in a training. My 10 month old and I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. It cost us around $ 10 which I thought was a little expensive for a 10 month old, but I paid and went in happy. The owner was a sweetheart and explained all the rules really well.
The parents inside were a disaster! Most were on their phone not paying attention to their kids jumping off the ladders and walls. There were big kids in the little kid area and the place was destroyed! You couldn’t walk 10 steps without stepping on a Lego. I really think that they need a «monitor» or volunteer who keeps some sort of order, because the parents certainly didn’t.
But, The idea is awesome, and the layout is great! There were a lot of neat toys and games and activities. If you have a little one and big one, the layout makes it easy to watch both. I think they need more board book for little ones. They have a ball pit which was a favorite for the little ones.

Loved this place! I was visiting from out of town and needed to kill some time. I came with my three year old and 10 month old. My toddler hardly spoke to me since she was so busy playing with dolls, climbing the rope ladder, etc. The baby crawled around the «Under 2» area playing with toys until he was so tired that he fell asleep in my arms. I enjoyed chatting with other moms and reading magazines. A perfect afternoon, in my book!

I loved the one in bellevue, clean and a great place. My exoerience was terrible. One person to look after the place, mothers
that cared more about iphones than enjoying their children play. NO one picked. Up any toys, scattered everywhere, dangerous I was a grandmother taking my grandson there. Toys broke, no under 2 rules follow… he got pushed by big kids 3 times. BAD experence and not worth the money.

We had my 3-​year old’s birthday party here and let me tell you… if a slumber party would have been permitted, nobody would have left! Even the adults loved it!
It’s a really cute venue! Party room big enough for 30 kids and some lingering parents. You are allowed to bring your own food… refrigerator/​freezer available along with enough countertop space for your edible spread. No microwave or oven :(. The girls working there are very helpful with corralling the kids to eat and at passing out the guest treats on the way out. Conveniently located across Costco! Def recommend it for kids 7 and under! ;)

Very clean, with great prices. My kids loved this place, and it was perfect with the very hot weather. We came here twice and the kids weren’t bored. Definitely worth a trip.

I wish we had one of these in East Nash! My son and I like to come here on rainy days. Once’s he’s in the door he goes on and on and on. There are so many things for the kids to do. From the toddler area with the ball pit (his fave.) A craft/​color station, The various imagination/​dress up areas, the HUGE indoor treehouse with slides, and toys all around.
The only downfall is that its far, but it’s next to Costco so I can kill 2 birds with one stone.
