Newton Collision Repair

On our way to JFK for a vacation, we unfortunately rear ended someone which caused extensive cosmetic damage to the front of our vehicle. We were able to take the car into a long term parking garage and make it in time for our flight. My husband called Newton collision to see if they could fix the car while we’re away. Richie was very helpful and agreed that if we can have someone drop off the car to his shop, he can work on it right away and have it fixed by the time we returned from vacation. Not only did he give us updates while working on it, he also gave us price quotes and made sure we agreed with the plan and price before proceeding with the work. Richie also stayed true to his word and we picked up our vehicle in pristine condition when we returned from vacation. We can’t thank you enough!

I’ve used them twice and each time the only thing better than the quality of work was their customer service.
Once my alternator pooped out at the Deer Park exit and I was lucky enough to literally roll off the exit and onto a side road. I call Newton Collision and they showed up with a truck and had my towed to a partner service provider BUT Newton Collision kept checking in on me even though all they did was tow me! Who does that? Who cares that much???
Second time I had my road service provider (learned after the incident above) towed me to them after an accident. Unfortunately my car was totaled but they made the process of dealing with the insurance company an absolute breeze. I appreciated this because I was going through enough as it was having lost my favorite car! The few times I had to deal with the insurance company themselves and needed something from Newton Collision someone responded to me ASAP.
Lots of people can fix or update a car but caring about their customers and attention to detail are harder to find. Unless you are going to a shop for an enhancement it usually means you had a bad day — Newton Collision understands this and makes sure to do their best to make the process as painless as it can be. They understood I was already going through enough!

Great place. Unfortunately, I have brought my car in there more than once, but their costumer service, reliability, experience, and honesty is off the charts. There is nothing worse than an accident, or returning to your parked car and finding someone smashed it. Bringing my car to them definitely eased my mind. Both times, my car came back to me like nothing ever happened to it.

In the interest of full disclosure, this is my brother’s body shop, which was started by our father (Newton) a loooooong time ago. Since childhood, I watched my father work his fingers to the bone to keep the business alive and build on it’s reputation in the community. Nearly the entire time, Richie was there, and I watched as my brother slowly took on more and more responsibility, until our father retired. Instead of just closing shop, he entrusted the shop (and his good name) to Richie.
Since then, I’m proud to see the business continue to succeed, and even more proud to know my brother is following in our father’s footsteps and running things so well. I’ve referred many of my friends to the shop over the years, and will continue to do so, knowing that the work will be done well, and at an honest price. When it comes to supporting local business, you can’t go wrong with this shop. He’ll treat you right.

Newton collision exceeded any expectation I had. The turn around time was excellent. Excellent work. .and my father was in body work his whole life, so I can recognize good quality work. The secretary always kept me informed and updated. They took care of my rental car for me. …one of the best experiences I have every had in dealing with an auto body shop. My family have been using Newton Collision for over 30 years. Bilingual first class customer service, they do quality work and assist you in resolving all your insurance claims issues. Fast turnaround on all repair projects, and I highly recommend using them for your car restorations! They made my 2006 Mustang GT look like a Mach 1, and ppl ask us all the time who did the work.

Let me just say this. A trip to a body shop is something that people usually NEVER want to do :(However i was lucky to come across Richie (the owner) and the guys at Newton Collision.
After being involved in my first ever accident the guys at Newton picked up my car and pretty much took it from there. Once i informed my insurance company where the vehicle was they dealt with all of the red tape and it felt like i was back in my vehicle with minimal inconvenience to my daily life (which is what had me most nervous of all).
My car was done in a timely manner and the vehicle looked like nothing ever happened!
Although i hope i dont have to see them anytime soon i know that in the event of an incident i have a place to take my car that will be upfront with me and lessen the impact of what can be a hectic event in your life.

These guys do great work. Had everything fixed in one visit and my car looks like new!!! They even had it washed. Price was very reasonable and had my car back within a couple of days. Loved this shop would highly recommend it! Thanks Richie!!!

They do amazing work. I sent my mom here to fix a dent in her bumper and they took great care of her. I was afraid to try a new shop, but this place was reputable, honest and will be coming here for body work on my car going forward!
