I never thought I would give a mechanic five stars. These guys are great and honest. I’ve had to take my aging car in three times and not only have they found me the best price on tires and fixed a minor issue with my spark plugs that was quoted double at the dealership, they have given general automotive guidance to me.
This week I took my car in for a smog check and it failed for a faulty fuel sensor. When I took it to Moody’s they tested it and their suggestion was fill it with gas drive it for 50 miles and then go back for another smog check. I’m happy to say I just passed. They could’ve easily charged me $ 150 for the part plus an hour of labor without me knowing any better.
I would recommend them to anybody for any service because if they can fix it — it’s a great price and if they feel it’s unnecessary they tell you the same.

Great customer service. Friendly and thorough from what I could tell. We noticed a weird noise while on a road trip and found Mood’s on google maps. Our car was seen within 30 minutes and we saw them test driving it three times. That was reassuring. Problem was solved and we were on our way. I would go back to them if I lived in the area!

While I didn’t like the size of the bill– the service was amazing.
I called and asked if I could bring my SUV in to see why it was running rough. They were able to get me in quickly and had a diagnosis in about an hour. I’ve spent more time waiting to get tires rotated at other places.
Car repair is never cheap but I feel they have me a fair price and we’re kind enough to put two mechanics on the job to get it finished as quick as possible.
Everyone there was very kind and respectable. I’ll be going back for future needs.

I have always had great experiences with this company. I have taken my car and my daughter’s to them for oil changes, new tires, tire rotations and brake pad replacements. They have never tried to convince me that something was needed when it wasn’t and I have often found their prices to be lower than expected. They have even gone out of their way to find oil change coupons for me and the best price on good quality tires.

Do not go under any circumstances. For many years my staff and I worked next door to this shop and received fair service. Today my battery died and I needed a new battery quickly as I was late to a appointment. I drove in and asked how quick and they said an hour. I was the only customer there. I asked if I could buy the battery and out it in myself. They said yes. I then realized I would need an adjustable wrench and asked if I could use one of theirs. Ralph the manager stepped and said that they do not let customers borrow their tools. He then went on to say that I should have planned my day out better and arrive when they open. The smirk he gave let me know that he found his little realm of power which allows him to lord over the lowly customer. I do not understand why large companies allow employees such as Ralph to operate their stores. They would see a marked improvement in sales following his removal.

My girl friend took one of my cars in for just an oil change at this location. She called me a little scared that they were telling her that the car needed new belts and that they were severely damaged. Quoted $ 528.68 for the job. I knew they were trying to just sell her services plus that amount was outrageous. I went in there and talked to the service manager and told him that it’s ok. We’ll pass.
I didn’t want to embarrass them by telling him the car had the belts replaced by a mechanic just 1 year ago and didn’t need replacing and calling them out in front of other customers. So that was bad as a starter.
The worse is to come. Since I was already there I told them to change the oil on my Truck. They did, and I had to wait for a little while. Then the service manager comes to me with the devastating news. I had a brake rotor that was fused to the caliper on the left wheel and needed replacement immediately or I could have an accident and it was really dangerous to drive like that. Well, i had him show me the issue. Indeed, the rotor seemed to be fused and I told him to quote me the job.
He wanted $ 690.00 to change brake rotors on both front wheels. Now, that is a RIP OFF. I told him that since it was probably necessary to change that one wheel’s rotor and caliper to quote me just on one wheel, since the other didn’t need it. He quoted me $ 370.00 with taxes. Still a rip off, but I was there already and they would do it immediately.
Ok. they did the job I paid and left.
not 1 minute while on I-​65 I noticed that my steering wheel and seat were shaking. I went back and they told me they don’t know what it could be but thought a tire rotation would fix it. They rotated the tires. That didn’t fix it, and i had to come back 4 different times and even got a regional manager involved and STILL didn’t fix the issue THEY created.
PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN AN OIL CHANGE and even then. check the levels, because they overfilled both my car and truck, which is bad for your engine under pressure.
NEVER ALLOW THEM TO SCARE YOU INTO BELIEVEING THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR CAR. Take it to a real mechanic that will know what he is doing. I made a terrible and costly mistake. But you are now warned.
