Love the doctors, and the staff! Wonderful place to take children for routine check ups or sick visits! Dr. Bondurant and Dr. Freeman are so sweet and knowledgeable! There is always availability to be seen the same day for a sick visit! My kids absolutely love the doctors!

I could write a novel with example after example about how terrible this pediatrics practice is. 2⁄3 pediatricians completely ignored symptoms and problems from failed eye exam to repeated bouts of pneumonia to poorly managed asthma, uncontrolled eczema, just to name a FEW. A year after leaving, we are still dealing with unresolved issues. One child needs surgery, one goes to weekly eye therapy and another is now on daily asthma/eczema meds after a scary ER visit — could have been prevented. Total lack of care and attention from maryland farms pediatrics.

I’m writing this review because I want to help others who are looking for a good pedi office and I think this place deserves a good recommendation. It was stressful when I moved to Nashville and was looking for a pediatrician for my child. I knew no one in the area and had to choose from an internet search. I have been taking my young daughter to this office for both well check visits and sick visits for the past year. I really like this office. All three doctors have treated my daughter. All three do a great job at listening to my concerns, explaining what is wrong and how to fix it, and answering all questions. I don’t feel intimated when I want to ask a question or my options. I’m a nurse, but not with a lot of peds experience, so believe me when I say I want things explained in detail. I think all three doctors have a good amount of past experience and knowledge. Other staff is friendly and professional. I think they honestly want and do provide great health care. It is easy to make last minute sick appointments(which I have had to do a lot lately). I think they have Saturday hours, but thankfully have not needed that. I had to call the on-call late one evening. They responded quickly, and again didn’t make me feel like I was bothering them. I have never had a long wait for any appointment either. Not that it is that important when you find a good doctor, but I do like the office. It is in a single office building. Not in a huge complex where it takes 10 minutes to get a sick kid from the car to the office. My daughter loves the train toys in the waiting area. It does have the split sick/well sides as offices are supposed to have now.

My son is only about 4 months old, so we haven’t been taking him to the doctor long. However, I was referred to Maryland Farms Pediatrics by several of my friends and I would say that so far I am happy with our care there. The practice is made up of three female pediatricians and a few nurses(so far as I can tell). They are all super friendly and easy to talk to. They take the time to answer all of my many questions and understand my concerns with spacing out vaccinations and are accommodating to that. The waiting room is split up into two sides, one for sick kids and one for well-visit children. It’s a nice, clean facility. They have Saturday hours(which is great!) and I have never had a problem getting an appointment that works for us. Going to the doctor is never fun… especially when you have to watch your little baby get a shot. The doctors and staff at Maryland Farms Pediatrics do a really great job at making us all feel comfortable! Highly recommend!
