Great restaurant with wonderful service. I have yet to have a bad experience at this restaurant. The service and the food consistently exceed my expectations. The lobster queso, filet, and mixed greens salads are excellent.

Truly a wonderful place to go to. The staff are all so professional and really want you to enjoy your meal and your time there. The manager is a really great guy! The food is absolutely exceptional and a really good price. Love this place. The atmosphere is amazing too! Can’t say enough great things about this place! (both their burgers and steaks are so tasty! I recommend experiencing both at some point)

Hostess — omg, no smile, no personality, totally lost, actually bordered on rude/​but clueless. She did us a favor by seating us. It got worse and worse. Very very nice place, all food was ok. French dip don’t bother.

The problem with Firebirds is that it’s too expensive for casual dining, and yet too casual for fine dining. Thus, my experience is that it’s sort of a restaurant without an identity. It would not be a top choice for most occasions.
As for this particular location, my biggest gripe is the service. The first time we came here, we waited and waited for a hostess to no avail and eventually left.
We had a guest in town and decided to try once again (we live less than a mile away, so the location is a positive). Our experience was slightly better this time, and the food was, admittedly, quite good. The service, however, was subpar.
The wait was substantial at all stages. The drinks were overpriced and the dining room was very loud. The ambience was off-​putting. All in all, for the price, there are at least two dozen restaurants in town with better food, MUCH better service, and a better environment that reflects the investment you’ve made. Doubt we will return.

One of wife and my favorites. Love the atmosphere and food/​service are the best. On busy weekends you’ll need a reservation because of the demand, but well worth the effort.

Excellent atmosphere and food. Always love it here. The lobster spinach queso is amazing as an appetizer and the specialty cocktails are all really good. We don’t go frequently as it can get a little pricy.

Went to Firebirds for a Friday date night. We sat in the bar area, and were served by two different servers in the bar area. Our meals were simple, but good. The manager on duty is what made our experience extraordinary.
My girlfriend ordered the filet kabobs, and I ordered a simple bbq burger. When our food arrived her kabobs were well done, but she asked for mid rare. I stopped the server to inform her, and the manager noticed and was quick to get to our table, noticing the situation. I waited for her to get her refire which came quickly and was cooked to order. When our check came not only did the manager comp her meal, but also mine. He said he comped both meal, because he appreciated that I did not eat my meal until she got her meal back. We also had their chocolate cake with ice cream, and it was amazing. Thank you for your amazing customer service. It’s so hard to find these days.

My husband and I ate (along with my in-​laws) at Firebirds in Brentwood for the first time last night. We ordered the seared Ani Tuna appetizer, which was perfect. My husband and I both ordered the filet mignon medium rare; however, they came out slightly over done. Our server checked on us, and he noticed the cook was not quite right, so he offered to have the kitchen throw two more steaks on for us. We both insisted we were fine and the steaks were delicious regardless. The manager came over and offered again. Again, we declined. The steaks really were tender and juicy in spite of the slight overcook. When our check came, they had taken off the cost of the two filets. While not necessary, we appreciated it. I am definitely looking forward to going back here again. Both the service and the food were excellent.

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Brentwood. I love the atmosphere, the patio on nice days, and the food is consistently wonderful. Whether we come to have a drink and appetizer, or a full dinner, it’s always amazing. THANK YOU, Firebirds, for providing a place in Brentwood with an adult atmosphere, great service, and amazing food.

I go to Firebirds for special occasions! I am guilty of getting the same thing every time, their tenderloin salad — amazing!
Beef tenderloin cooked the way you like it, goat cheese (comes with bleu cheese), tomatoes and their delicious house balsamic.
Everything my family and I have ordered has been fantastic — very consistent and great service!

Just had lunch with my husband. I ordered the fried chicken salad and started with a cup of chili. Both were excellent. No crackers tho… Hmmm.
My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger with steak fries. Perfect.
We have never had a disappointing experience or food at this restaurant. Very reliable service and food quality.
I do want to mention our waiter Ryan. He was the best. Attentive but not obnoxious, very nice and professional.

Brentwood, TN location.
The atmosphere was ok, but the bar (the actual bar) gives off the vibe they don’t want customers sitting there. There’s big decorations and drink containers (some kind of pineapple thingy) on the bar that blocks the view. It made it very difficult for the bartender to see us. We had to do the bobandweave with her to see her to place our order.
Food is not good for the price.
Appetizer: Crab cakes. The description said there was Old Bay in them. If there was you couldn’t tell. They were bland and boring. They were served with a mango sauce that over powered the entire dish. It also came with some kind of weird coleslaw with tortilla strips in it. It was a mishmash of non-​complimentary flavors for $ 14.99 — not worth it.
Domestic Partner had the prime rib and Green Chili mac and cheese. Both stone cold. Not cool.
I had the grilled salmon with coleslaw and veggies. Salmon over cooked and dry. Not cool either.
We did not return the food to have it fixed. Too many past bad experiences when we do that. We just ate a few bites and took the rest home to fix. Damn shame when you have to take food home from a restaurant to fix it.
Won’t be returning. Going to Stoney River in Franklin next time.

I went there for lunch last week with a co worker who recommended this place. Earlier in the week I had lunch nearby at the Corner Pub. This place is nicer and more upscale with positive atmosphere that you will like. I ordered the meatloaf for lunch and I will tell you that it was good. A solid lunch that deserved a 3. I would be happy to return here again. Our table service was good too.
This restaurant is in a new retail center with new residential space next to it along with commercial office construction near completion.

We decided to check this place out on a beautiful day. We sat outside on some comfortable patio furniture. The service was top notch. We got the chicken quesadilla for appetizer. It was excellent. For lunch we got the chicken sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries and smoked bbq burger with steak fries. Both tasted great. The sweet potato waffle fries was the highlight of my lunch. The steak fries were slightly uncooked. Great service, food, and outdoor sitting are reasons we will return.

We had the steakhouse burgers and the lobster&spinach Queso, OMG its to die for. Had the crème brûlée cheesecake and it melts in ur mouth. service excellent and Mjr stop by making sure all was ok.

Had a entrée mixed greens with toasted pecans (really toasted, not sugar-​coated) and a bowl of the house chili. The dressing on the salad was light and did not hide the taste of greens. The chili came garnished with diced red onion and a handful of cheddar cheese on top, neither of which were listed in the menu. If I had not been in a hurry, I would have sent it back. Condiments such as these need to be listed on the menu so that they rejected during ordering or presented on the side. Also, the chili had beans in it. I know that there are two camps with regard to beans in chili, but restaurants need to be up front about which camp they are in: beans or no beans. Regardless of what your home recipe is for chili, beans in restaurant chili are just cost-​cutting filler.
In looking at what other diners were being served, my guess is that this is a full-​plate restaurant: big plates with heaping mounds of food. Almost every table had at least one diner with an adult beverage in front of them. While what we had was good, it looks like there might have been better choices on the menu.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. A manager-​type person came by the table to ask about our dining experience and once to bus the table. You don’t often see a manager backing up the wait staff.
I would come back when I had more time and a hungrier disposition.

We had Blue Cheese Burger and French Dip with mushroom. My husband gave his burger a four star but I loved my French Dip. The food was cooked perfectly. The waitress was very attentive (she almost took my plate away when I was still eating). The décor and ambient were awesome. We will come back for sure.
3 times later: We still had to tell our waitresses to stop taking out food away lol. If any managers read this review, could you please ask them to wait until customers are done eating? Thank you so much!!!

The Good: Had the salmon for lunch and it was exceptional. They made to order and it came out just as I asked.
The Bad: four different staff asked to take away our plates within five minutes of each other, no exaggerations.

Blown away by this place! Had excellent customer service from the hostess to our great server, Austin.
The bread they serve is delicious, and the Spinach Salad was excellent — chopped spinach, tomato, mushroom, hard boiled eggs, pecans, bacon, all evenly tossed in balsamic vinaigrette.
I got the sirloin. it was cooked perfectly, and got port mushrooms as my side. The sauce for these mushrooms is soooo yummy. The filet mignon was perfect and so was the ribeye. But what stood out the most was the fried spinach, as mentioned in other reviews. Definitely get it if you can! The mixed veggies are super fresh and tasty.
We ended our amazing meal with the big daddy chocolate cake. The owner/​manager also came around. This place is great and I definitely recommend it!

I was really excited when we decided to eat here. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations.
Walking in you get a view of the bar. It is a work of art and worth seeing. I am just not the kind of person who takes photos everywhere.
We were seated in a booth in the dining area. Nice and comfortable.
We were looking over the menu when we realized we had not seen a waiter for drinks, probably a 5 – 10 minute wait. More vexing was the number of waiters who were standing by the open kitchen and not circulating in the dining area.
1 soup and 1 salad to start the meal. The chef has added potatoes to the corn chowder and the potatoes overwhelm the corn flavor.
Ordered the pepper crusted steak, medium. It arrived at the table and only took one bite to decide to send it back, steak was well done. Not even any pink in the middle.
They prepared another steak but by then my spouse had finished her meal.
For the prices they charge. This should not have happened.
By the way this place is 3 dollar signs for dinner
