History

Established in 2011.

Katie Rushton launched Effortless Style in 2011 with a vision to help her clients discover true style that not only looks great on the outside, but also creates confidence on the inside. With a background in finance, Katie first began her career in the corporate world where she quickly realized that confident style in the workplace was just as important as style on the runway. Katie believed that when people look and feel their best, it changes their entire perspective. Whether you’re a stay at home mom, a fashion model or a busy CEO, finding your true style and inner confidence is something that everyone can benefit from.

Unable to ignore her calling to work in the fashion industry, Katie went back to school where she received a degree in Fashion Merchandising. With an eye for timeless fashion, a love of design and the desire to help others, Effortless Style has quickly become a respected and trusted name in the Nashville fashion community.

Katie works with clients in a wide variety of facets to help them achieve their individual style goals. From wardrobe consultations, closet audits, styling sessions, personal shopping and more. When she’s not running around town styling fashion shows and photo shoots or consulting with clients, Katie enjoys shopping at her favorite local boutiques, spending time with her husband and three dogs, and blogging about style advice and the latest fashion trends.
