We specialize in Toyota and Lexus, in addition to other Asian imports, but we have many loyal customers who have come to trust us and who ask us to work on their other vehicles. We are happy to do so, when we can, but our top priority is always your satisfaction. So our promise to you is that we will do our best to be accommodating, but we reserve the right to politely say «no» when we feel you and your vehicle will be better served elsewhere.

History

Established in 2005.

Rob and Kim are California natives who moved to Tennessee years ago. Rob has been in the business for years, and after many friends encouraged him, he decided to open his own shop. He has been Toyota and Lexus certified for decades and hires experienced techs to care for your Asian import vehicles. We moved to our new location in 2014, where we have more space to provide you better service and an extremely comfortable waiting area. We hope you’ll allow us to car for your car!

Rob started working in the automotive field while in High School working at a small Shell repair station doing general repair, state lamp and emission testing. In 1984, he graduated from Kings River Community College as an Automotive Technician. Rob has continued his education and is attains the highest levels of certification possible for Toyota and Lexus Technicians.

I’ve been coming to CS Auto for a couple of years now and they’re great. Nice folks, capable and professional in the front office as well as the garage. Plus, if you need to wait for your vehicle, the waiting area is beautiful. Wifi, hot coffee, snacks and a fireplace… a great place to get work done.

Where else did I find this wonderful repair shop but from good ol’ Unilocal!I have fallen behind on the maintenance schedule of my car and so I searched on Unilocal for a non-​dealer repair shop, from the time I made the appointment to the time I walked into the shop I had such a positive experience even without me mentioning it, the mechanic did a thorough inspection on my car and in every finding (of issues) they quickly communicated it to me with the associated cost. The plus factor is the nice waiting area which looks like a Starbucks that I was able to do some work while waiting for my car. I appreciated the fact that I knew beforehand what my total bill would be before they even finished the work on my car in comparison perhaps to the local dealer which many times I almost fainted from shock after I receiving my bill. This shop also advised me on an existing recall on my car and the specifics.
Thank you again for the thorough service performed on my car. I shall be back!

Pleasantly surprised by the service and cost of the service for my Lexus 400RxH. They did a great job repairing the front end of my undercarriage and changed the oil. In addition, they checked my car and gave me a very through report on items that may need to be serviced in the near future. I will be going back. I liked them and thought they were very fair and professional.

I’m very pleased with CS automotive. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. I was very impressed with their thoroughness of their initial inspection of my truck and their service recommendations. No pressure, just recommendations. For the repair I brought the truck in for, it was done in a most timely manner and completed when they said it would be. It is so hard to find an auto repair place that you can trust and feel comfortable with. I read great reviews on CS Automotive and decided to try them out and have not been disappointed.
My first trip in they found the issue I was having with my air conditioning and could have charged me a lot of money to repair it, but then thought to ask if I had been in an accident that affected the radiator and air conditioning system — I had and the repairs I needed were covered under warranty from the other shop. I was so impressed with their honesty and thoughtfulness to turn away work to save me money.
Recently I had the opportunity to use them again and they were great — getting my alternator replaced in a few hours on a Friday when I had an unexpected breakdown the day before I really needed my vehicle to move. I hope that I don’t need them too often but I definitely trust CS Automotive with my vehicle when issues come up!

These guys are great! I took my car in for brakes b/​c they were beginning to squeak. After only a couple of hours, they called me and said my brakes were fine. They also gave a free inspection and offered a few recommendations. They found a broken motor mount that they were able to fix that day.
They are not pushy about repairs, but offer recommendations. They come across as extremely honest, I didn’t feel gouged with their prices and they were extremely friendly in person and on the phone.
The best part is that they offer free transportation if you work in the area, so I didn’t have to find a ride or call a cab.

I’ve never been so happy with an auto repair shop. They make a strong effort at providing a high level of customer service, which is rare these days – beautiful and comfortable lobby with refreshments, complimentary shuttle, super personable staff, and their prices are in line with a place like Firestone, if not cheaper. I’ll never take my car anywhere else!

CS Auto took care of my maintenance and noticed a leak coming from the water pump. They also recognized that it was covered by the Toyota warranty and referred me to my Toyota dealer. Toyota fixed it promptly and with no charge at all. Thanks CS Auto for saving me from a breakdown and the cost of the repair.

From a nice clean wait area, to a courteous staff and complimentary shuttle to my office a few blocks away, for an auto repair shop, this one is probably the most inviting one I’ve been to yet.
I had to get my check engine light diagnosed and fixed for my emissions test on my 1997 4Runner. They fixed only what I needed them to fix and put recommendations for future repairs on an electronic invoice to my email. Informative and not pushy.

I’ll say it again; amazing customer service! Rob, the owner, overhead my conversation about our plight (we had driven to TN for Easter and had AC issue that drained our battery). Not only did he (correctly) diagnose the issue sight unseen, he offered to look under our hood even though his schedule was completely full. Needless to say, we were super fortunate and we able to get back on the road by lunchtime. Stellar customer service!

Excellent service! My first experience with CS Automotive in Brentwood was for an oil change. Being a family owned and managed shop is a plus for me. The folks at the front desk were courteous and the guy who worked on my vehicle was professional. They are 5 minutes off Interstate 65 in Brentwood. I highly recommend them whether you live in Nashville, Brentwood or even Franklin, they are worth the drive. I had some work done last month on the front end of my Lexus, (Struts…). Another great experience and competetive pricing! I highly recommend them again.

THE BEST auto repair place I’ve been to. Pretty fancy lobby area too… you feel like your car is getting a spa treatment ha! I don’t know a lot about cars but the customer service there are always very helpful in explaining and everyone is an honest hard-​working employee. I highly recommend them!
