Comb It Out Lice Removal Salon

I can’t say enough good things about this place! My daughter had a case of lice. I tried the old way of getting nix and doing it at home. I also tried a non pesticide treatment I got at great clips. After 60 bks she still had nits in her hair. I heard about comb it out through my daughters school.
I went on line and made and appt also printed out the coupon. We were treated very well. My daughter got to pick a movie of her choice to watch during the treatment. Also a snack to enjoy. After the first treatment was over she got a prize for being good. She left happy and we were hoping lice free.
We came back 5 days later for the wet check and she was 100% lice free!!! If there is a next time we will make our appt here first. Very clean professional and friendly staff. I will be back to buy the preventive lice spray. They also use non pesticide products here. Definitely worth the money! I will def recommend comb it out to anyone and everyone.

Two days ago my daughter was sent home from school with LICE. My 13 year old daughter was bummed because she was sent home worried about returning to school and being bullied. She was fighting tears because she had to miss her very first school dance. So you can imagine the girl drama.
I picked her up and was given a card for Comb it Out. I was going to do her delousing at home but my teenager begged that we go to Comb it Out. So I called Comb it Out, Concord and they sent me to Brentwood that had an appointment ready immediately. I drove from Concord to Brentwood.
We met with Jaimie, who was absolutely God Send. She performed a complimentary dry check on me and then started on my daughter. Jaimie offered DD a snack and helped her pick a movie to watch then went to work. Unfortunately, little girl had both nits and little creepy crawlies. As the session went on, Jaimie got to know my DD and realized that my daughter was curious about the bugs and wanted to know what they looked like.
I know this is totally GROSS, but my daughter is scientist at heart. This disaster girl drama turned into a bit of a science project. They talked about the life of a LICE and how you get it and what it really means about her personal hygiene. Jaimie made my DD feel comfortable and by the end of the session totally confident. She even gave DD advice on how to handle other kids should she face mean comments due to her LICE infection.
Because DD had more LICE than we thought, I agreed to a wet check. Jaimie was great with me too. Luckily I was LICE FREE!
At the end of our session, Jaimie gave us advice on how to clean our home and how to use the products that we purchased. As of last night, DD is LICE FREE. Though we will continue on the house cleaning Shampoo and Conditioner regimen for the next two weeks, just to be safe
Another positive about going to this salon versus having a company come to your home or even saving the money by doing it yourself is this. When the removal happens, the creepy crawlies are alive and do move around. You are risking causing further infestation by delousing at home or even giving yourself lice. If you have the initial cleaning at the salon, most if not all are cleaned and left at the salon. This was a bit expensive, but I will say worth every single-​dingle penny.
Best part… at the end of the session, DD was smiles and happy about her experience. She even felt good about returning to school because she knows what to do if someone gets mean with her. I cannot put a dollar value on this part of their services. Thank you again and Jaimie is an absolute Miracle worker!

Unfortunately this is my daughter’s second time getting lice. The first time I tried to rid it on my own, what an expensive nightmare using harsh chemicals. Coming to Comb It Out is the quickest & safest way to get of this pest!

Recently my niece came up with lice. We took her to Comb it Out in Brentwood. Sofia helped us and She did a great job and gave us tips to help avoid getting lice again. She was very thorough. I felt good about this place. My niece liked the salon too. They had DVD movies for her while they combed through her head. It took some time but she was content. I would definitely recommend their services if your ever faced with a lice problem. They have two locations, Concord & Brentwood VERY convenient.

This place is a life saver. My grandchildren got sent home from school because they had nits in their hair. I found this place through a friend and they were so great with my grandchildren. They have individual DVD’ players for the kids to watch movies on, as they remove all the nasty little bugs and nits from their hair. This place is so clean and comfy that it starts to feel like home when the kids don’t want to leave. At the end of the treatment they even have a prize box for the kids to pick from.
