Brows By Shaila

I’ve got some thick eyebrows that need expertise when it comes to shaping. If one is done differently than the other it shows no matter how slight the difference. I was having them threaded for a while at a place in the mall and paid very little, however my brows were never perfect. One was always off or sometimes they’d thread them thin when I asked them to leave them natural. Enter Shaila! She takes her time to really measure and make sure that the brows are even and done to perfection! There’s no rush and she seems to really take pleasure in creating the perfect brow. You get what you pay for and Shaila is worth every penny! On top of all of that she has a lovely demeanor and is so fun to chat with!

Shaila truly does magic, yes she does charge $ 45 for eyebrow shaping. Which is just waxing your eyebrows and plucking them to perfection. She is the absolute best. I usually don’t pay anywhere near what I did with her for other places but I never got these results. I added a few pics of when she did my eyebrows and their stunning, please note there is no eyebrow pencil in it just a highlighter. I rather go to her once a month, than pay every two weeks for someone to butcher my eyebrows.

Super pricey but she does amazing work. When I saw my brows after, she had shaped them in a way I would have never thought to do and they looked amazing and full. I’ve gotten my brows done at other cheaper places and it’s always meh. If you have the money, go here. I’ll definitely be coming here before my wedding for that wow look.

I seriously love my brows after Shaila did her magic. I receive compliments almost daily. I used to go to the Benefit Brow bar and would dabble with other places here and there but Shaila has given me by far the best brows I’ve ever had. $ 45 is expensive, no doubt. But I’d rather pay $ 45 and LOVE my brows, than pay $ 22 and think they are mediocre.
Her place is really cute, located in this cool beauty «market.» There are ton’s of little salons, each has their own room.
I’d recommend Shaila to anyone.

I have what I consider to be difficult eyebrows, and Shaila makes them look very nice. A little tint and some shaping, add some lash tint too, and voila! I feel like a new person!

Shaila does fabulous work on brow shaping! She takes her time to make sure that your brows are absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend her. She is on the more expensive side, but I think she really knows what she’s doing! Highly recommended.

I have been debating on whether I could learn how to do my brows myself, which is not my thing! I’m so happy I made the plunge and tried this place! Shaila was so detailed and meticulous with my brows, you can really tell when she works that she loves what she does. I’m so happy I found her and I highly recommend seeing her! I only wish I took a before and after photo so you could see the difference. She is worth it! :)

I have to admit I’m a little disappointed.
Shaila did a great job shaping my eye brows but that’s it. For someone like me eyebrows are extremely important but so is my financial situation and the dent a beauty expense can put into my pocket.
The charge. It’s $ 45 to get your eyebrows done. I have been to SO many estheticians and of all the amazing spas, and salons Shaila was the most expensive.
Her products don’t give the wow factor what so ever. The eye brow pencil is non retractable and must be sharpened– I think I’ll pass. Brow powder, not a good match.
The ambiance of her little studio is adorable, but in all fairness $ 45 for a mediocre eye brow wax/​pluck. Id rather not.
Just a few thoughts to ponder before you allow every other 5 star review to make up your mind.

Was in dire need of having someone fix my eyebrows. Looked up this location and was happy to read all the amazing reviews on Shaila. Shaila, although a bit pricey, was well worth the money. So much so that I can’t see myself going anywhere else. She took her time, shaped my eyebrows, filled them in where need bee and was a gem to talk to. LOVE HER! I highly recommend her. I’m a flight attendant. I fly all over the world, I’m so glad I FINALLY found someone that has fixed the shitty work others have done to my eyebrows in the past!!!

Best brow artist ever! I don’t trust anyone else with my brows. Been with Shaila for 5+ years and no regrets!

I hate to leave poor reviews but this place is outrageously expensive. I came here tonight expecting to get threaded and tinted but opted to wax because the Unilocal reviews were so good. While my wax is ok, it’s nothing extraordinary and the powder that was used to fill my brows is already starting to melt away. My grand total for eyebrow waxing + tint was 74 $! This is almost double what I pay for Brazilian waxes that last a month… Basically 5 months of threading which has better results… Crazy. Also, she applied concealer above my brows to enhance the shape which ultimately caused irritation. Aloe Vera is usually applied to open pores. Anyways, all in all…
I felt a bit deceived when she didn’t mention the uncommonly high prices for eyebrow waxing.

Shaila ia amazing! She has the skill and the touch to give anyone great brows. And she tops of the waxing with fill-​in, highlighting, and concealer. You don’t have to walk around red for the next hour.

Shaila is amazing! I have my eyebrow tattoo. I let them grow. she did an amazing job shaping them.

What an amazing brow job. I haven’t had a chance to get a professional job done in a while and she found and restored my true shape and arch the way I am used to it and miss lol. She’s a real sweetheart and her location is among all types of beauty needs on the first floor of an office building in Brentwood. Will be returning to see her soon.

Totes not sure if this review is gonna capture the awesomeness that is Shaila.
My brows came to her a mess. I hadn’t ever really tweezed them but they just looked funky. Lots of stray hairs everywhere, what looked like patchiness, and definitely unevenness. When Shaila got through with them, they looked even and full… And best of all, this was before the addition of any brow shadow.
Shaila did fill them in with some shadow eventually but really the shadow just enhanced her work. She advised me that it wasn’t necessary to fill them in further on a day to day basis which made me thrilled. She wasn’t trying to sell me the goods in her shop because she had already done a kick butt job of shaping my brows.
But most of all I’m thankful that she gave me the heads up about my long lashes. I had always struggled with mascara and I had accepted that my lashes would be straight and sparse. Shaila gave me some tips on curling and finding mascara. Shazam!
Ever since I’ve gone to her, people notice how pretty my eyes are. I’ve lost track of the compliments and my eyes really aren’t all that pretty! They’re plain brown but framed by Shaila’s marvelous brow work and enhanced by Shaila’s tips on lashes, my eyes look better than ever!

I had been growing my eyebrows out (buying some time) in hope of finding the perfect person to shape my brows. Well, I’ve found her! Shaila took my lifeless, boring brows and made them into foxy, luscious face framers. She was even kind enough to show me how to properly fill them in for that very polished yet natural look. I highly recommend her brow shadow and application brush. Her products make filling in your brows seriously easy.
I’m so happy that I found Shaila. I honestly had no idea that my brows could look so good. I now have the supermodel brows that I have so longed for. Watch out Cara Delevingne!

Great brow artists are surprisingly hard to find, even somewhere like LA. I mean, a lot of places tout themselves as the ultimate brow studio, and there are a lot of supposed brow experts out there, but truthfully, I’ve only walked away from appointments really loving my brows a bare handful of times ever.
Shaila consistently delivers great brows. Pays attention to every single hair, the best shape for your face, takes her time because she’s not trying to rush you out of her hair. I’m a beauty professional, so I can be hard to please and I’m going to go ahead and say that she’s better than any of the big names I’ve gone to previously. You can tell she loves her job and it comes through. I’ll definitely be making the trip to Brentwood for the foreseeable future. :)

Shaila is AMAZING!!!
She transformed my lifeless eyebrows in to beautiful arches (see photos)!!! I don’t have a lot of hairs to begin with and my brows are very light. I’ve been to several brow artists in the area, but I’m most content with Shaila’s work.
Shaila also has excellent customer service. She came in an HOUR early just to accommodate me. Who does that??? So awesome. And she’s super friendly and has a bad ass style with tattoos on both arms. Meow.
Also, she used to work at Kelley Baker. KB does good work, but their reviews online says they have bad customer service so I’m always scared to go.
Can’t wait to see Shaila again in a few months!

I can’t say enough good things about Shaila. She is honestly nothing less than amazing. Her attention to detail leaves my eyebrows not only looking flawless but I get endless complement on them. Most people think I fill them in, but I let them know it’s just a little bit of Shaila magic
She takes her time and I couldn’t be more happy to have come across her eight months ago. I’ve been to many place, have had many estheticians work on my eyebrows, and have have waxing nightmares. No longer do I have to worry about any of that.
