All Bay Custom Cabinet & Millwork

We had a custom cabinet/​desk area installed almost 2 years ago. It has held up tremendously well. Chris was very nice, and for the most part exceeded my expectations with professionalism– I am giving ⁴⁄₅ stars because we did have a hiccup when everything was installed he came without having the final molding pieces. I gave the final 50% of my payment and it took over a month to get those two pieces put in. Excuse was that they were drying but then I had to call over and over. My husband was very upset that I had paid the final payment before it was in fact completed because he went and cashed the check almost immediately, knowing he wasn’t done. I appreciate the quality of his work and the fact that he is a small business. He came to install the last pieces and overall I would absolutely hire him again (and intend to) for further projects. He is kind and was very attentive to what we needed for the space.

STAY AWAY– My in-​laws were looking for a Cabinet Maker, that’s not what we got when we hired Chris. I don’t think he cares anymore about the quality of his work. He missed several appointments and was very rude on several occasions. He was supposed to center the upper cabinets over the sink window. It was 3″ off to one side. This is basic cabinet making (101). I asked him what happened and he said «I TRIED»…When I mentioned issues that needed correcting he would go into a rant about how he has been a Cabinet Maker for 25 years and I know what I am doing… We were very happy to get him out of the house before he screwed anything else up. This job was done about 10 months ago and I am just now able to write this calm review. Oh by the way, he never centered cabinets at sink, but was paid in full.

I was greatly disappointed by the service provided by this company. Chris did not deliver work when promised or return phone calls. When I picked up the work, it was incomplete. I had them cut out kitchen cabinet doors and replace the wood with glass and repair some drawers and glides in the kitchen. The doors were cut out but I had to have someone else put the glass in, the drawers were rebuilt but we had to reattach the fronts ourselves and the glides were never repaired.
