I notice that a lot of the reviews are from a few years back so I thought I should post a more current review.
Is this the best comic book shop ever? No. Is it the best in the area? Absolutely. Some of the reviews have stated that they were disappointed with the selection. I can see where they’re coming from but the owner will order pretty much any current comics you want. Bremerton is a pretty small market so he can only stock what he thinks would sell.
The main reason I shop at this store is the owner Dana. He had a great «subscription» service where you basically just tell him what comics you are interested in and he will hold them for you and give you a discount for being a loyal customer. He also gives great recommendations. He knows his customers and learns what they are interested in and will hold comics that he thinks you might like. It’s like having a person shopper for your comic books!
I work in customer service and in that category it doesn’t get much better than this!

Great little comic shop. Good selection, and they nearly always have what I’m looking for.

This is pretty much the only comic shop in Kitsap County worth a damn, and I’ve been a patron for a good seven years. Dana, the owner, is super-​awesome and always works with me to get me the things I need, especially as a deploying sailor. Great crew that works here.

Very friendly owner, remembers you by the books you’re looking for even if you only stop in now and then. People may bag on them a bit for their limited selection but they will order anything they can if you ask. Face it, life ain’t easy for the brick and mortar boys and I’m happy Bremerton still has a comic shop. They offer a military discount and they will even ship your books if you get deployed.

I wish they had a better selection of older comics, but 5 stars for sure!

I am just in Bremerton for short time work. Went to the store to see what they had and they have a nice small collection and the staff is very nice. As far as the Navy guys review, take a read on the door and see that they do give a military discount. I will be back next time I am in town.

this store at one time was okay, but now it has gotten worse. I find the staff not friendly and they seem to have not much in. Also very dirty store

Great comic store in Bremerton. No price on holding comics either. Would be nice if there were other gaming books and what not. But all in all, a great place to pick up your comics. Staff is very friendly.

NERD LIFE FO’ REALZ–
this is a pretty legit little place. it’s a locally owned comic/​gaming shop. now i’m not into gaming, but comics and graphic novels? hell yah! i mean, yes, please and thank you.
they have a decent (kinda small) but it’s not bad at all. i would rather go here any day then barnes and noble. and plus, every time that they don’t have something that i am looking for, they promise me that they can special order, as long as it’s in print.
i went in here looking for some green lantern graphic novels and was unsure of the story-​line order (because hal jordan has this flash back that threw me off). the clerk actually went and looked up the proper order for me on the interweb and totally cleared the confusion. thumbs up on customer service, for sure.
i plan on going back here, often.

This place is garbage. The customer service is horrible. The snobby über-​nerds they have running this place shouldn’t be in public view. I’m in the Navy. I came in after work one day in uniform. I got dirty looks from fanboys like I was lost or something. Understanding that nerds (I play warhammer) are from a different social climate I ignored the death stares. But, it was when I went to the clerk and asked him about the warhammer 40k here when he replied snidely «Dude, I don’t know. I’m a comic guy. Obliviously they play that stuff, can’t you tell by the tables and no we don’t have military discount.» I didn’t even ask. Garbage.

My bf and I come here for our comic book fix almost every Wednesday (when the newest issues come in). They have a decent selection, but sometimes I wish they carried more small titles like they used to and more obscure items. I also wish they carried more manga, but I heard they got rid of it simply because no one was going there for it. I guess considering Barnes and Nobles has the better selection (not to me though).
If they don’t have what you want though, they can usually order it for you, so ask away. They can also look up upcoming dates for those comics you don’t want to miss. AND, you can sign up for a subscription box so they can hold the comics you collect every month and just pick them up. :)
They also do Warhammer (for fans of that).
Since it’s the only comic store in the area, it’s good for that geek fix.

Used to be called Castle Comics. One has to wonder if they changed it because they got confused with another Castle in town…
What can I say? I’m sort of a geek. I love comic books and this is the only choice I know of in town to get my fix. The staff is nice. The store is clean. There are lots of bigger nerds than me playing Warhammer (I think that’s what they play…) in the back if your into that sort of thing. Decent amount of back stock but not as much as I’m used to for a comic store. Their pull list is really helpful for people like me who go on deployment every now and then. My wife wishes they had a better stock of Animé/​Manga style stuff and I wish they had a bigger selection of indie books but that’s small complaints against a list of things that are done very well.
