We hired Naturalist about 5 – 6 years ago for carpet and air duct cleaning plus a lifetime filter, and I really enjoyed the results so I was glad to hire them back. Kristy makes quick pricing and scheduling a snap, Aaron is prompt, courteous, and friendly, and their prices are a bit lower than the competition… but I admit that the #1 reason I called them back is their low-moisture cleaning method with the natural-enzyme cleaner and rotating scrubby pads. It’s super important to me because it means stink-free, quick-dry results that won’t saturate my subfloor. It’s also amazing to see what stains the Naturalist method will remove that steam cleaning won’t. I’ve seen the comparison now, so I now know. Thanks folks, we appreciate your good work!

I’m unsure why this company doesn’t have many more Unilocal reviews. Maybe it’s because they get a lot of their business through word of mouth. However, for someone like me who’s never used a carpet cleaning business before, it would have been useful to know just how amazing they were so I didn’t have to stress about researching carpet cleaners for my move this week. Luckily for me, I found them through valpak coupons and after comparing their prices with other companies, I decided to go with them. Boy was that the best decision I’ve ever made. Here’s a little background on my situation: I rent a large 2300+ sq ft home where most of it is carpet. I live with three male roommates who are not the cleanest people around. We always have people over and we always welcome their kids and dogs. With such a lively household, things get spilled on the carpet all the time. People track in dirt often and there have been many accidents by little puppies going through potty training. Sure, we vacuum and even bought a steam cleaner to use but the stains just won’t leave no matter how many times we steam clean or what chemical solutions we use. We pretty much just accepted it. That is, until a couple weeks go when we gave our intent to move out and found buried in our leasing contract a requirement to have the carpets professionally steamed cleaned that we were like«uh oh». «How can anyone possibly fix any of these set in stains?!» we wondered. We have lived here over two years and these stains are never leaving!!! Then comes Naturalist Carpet Cleaners to the rescue. I always check Unilocal for reviews on everything but sometimes Unilocal leaves me high and dry. Not everyone goes on here to make reviews, even I am guilty of not sharing my experiences to help others. I almost went with another carpet cleaner based on just two Unilocal reviews just because they were good but they were too pricey for me when I called for a quote. Though they were nice and good things have been said about this other company, I decided to save some money and look through the valpak ad for coupons in hopes of getting a better deal when I came across Naturalist Carpet Cleaning. They had a whole house special for $ 130 that was very enticing. I called right away and Kristy was the nicest lady I have ever spoken to on the phone. The special was for 4 rooms and a hallway and only up to 900sq ft and I knew the carpet size was larger than that but wasn’t sure by how much. Kristy was so very helpful and patient with me while I blabbered on about how big the house was and how stressful moving is with so many people who are so messy. She gave me a quote of $ 130 and then added the $ 30/room(up to 200 sq ft each) coupon they had. The quote was about $ 230 based on my estimate of the size of the house. She told me someone named Ron would come and measure everything for a more accurate estimate and I could always work it out with him or even decline service after he got there if it wasn’t what I was looking for. I like that flexibility. So I booked an appointment for 1:30pm. Ron called that day of the appointment about fifteen minutes till 1 because he was running early on his previous appointments and would like to know if it was ok if he came early. Of course it was ok! He was there 30mins before our scheduled time and showed up with such a nice and friendly demeanor that I felt like we were old friends. I showed him the house and he gave me an estimate well below the original $ 230. He got to work and used all these natural chemicals that’s not harmful to kids or pets which is always good. He was fast, professional, and just the nicest man ever. The carpets all look brand new and there’s no traces of set in stains or anything. I can’t believe I didn’t take before and after pictures just to show the big difference. It makes me want to move back into to this rental that I just moved out of just because the carpet is so fluffy and clean. Ron was absolutely amazing! I even called Kristy to thank her and she was so happy that I was happy about the work done. They are such nice people and I’m so glad to have found them. Take note, there’s another Unilocal page for Naturalist Carpet Cleaners in Bainbridge island. That’s also them. They serve Kitsap county and Port Townsend. Someone should probably consolidate these pages so their Unilocal reviews are easier to find. I’m very grateful to them for making my move so much easier. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of carpet cleaning. Thanks again Ron and Kristy!
