Total for a full-​synthetic oil change, $ 122.48.
THAT’S MORE THAN THE DEALER WOULD CHARGE!
For contrast, the Firestone on Wheaton Way charged $ 60.05 for this exact same service.
Plus, the Midas website had a full synthetic oil change offer for this month for this store for $ 59.99. (Firestone gives their coupons as the default.)
Two stars because they could do the appointment on the same day.
Otherwise, plan ahead and pay ½ price anywhere else.

I highly recommend this Midas. The owners Shel and Danny are hard working and honest. I have an older truck and they have managed to keep it running well for years.

Wonderful service! We are a family of four from Ohio traveling in the area when our SUV literally lost a wheel. We called the Bremerton Midas and they went out of their way to help us out. They helped us find a local tow and began to work on the vehicle right when it arrived. Unfortunately we needed some major repairs but they got the parts right away and even gave us a ride to our hotel for the night. The car was complete the next morning. Not only did they do the needed repairs, they went out of their way to do a complete inspection and even fix «the little things» just to be sure we were safe for the remainder of our trip. Service was excellent, price was reasonable and most importantly, our car is running better than it ever has before! Very satisfied customers!

Received very friendly service from Chel and Danny. I had an oil change and tire and wheel mount and balance. Paid $ 164 for both. Danny took me into the shop under the car to show me somethings that needed attention and was very patient in explaining what was wrong.
This place definitely has a mom and pops feel. I’d take my car back here.

I pretty much do all my own automobile work until I’m either out of my legal or just want professional assistance. Well I am here to tell you that you will be hard pressed to find a better place in Kitsap county to take your pride and joy. Not only is it a family friendly place but the entire staff go out of there way to fix what needs to be fixed and explain your options. The entire staff of mechanics are knowledgeable and honest and don’t try to pull the wool over your eyes. Recently I had brake and exhaust work done on my Corvette and had forgotten the wheel lug key. The owner Danny asked his wife Chel to drive me home about 6 miles away to get it. Now that is what I call customer service. My wife and I will be forgoing anymore dealer visits and continue to support this outstanding automotive establishment. Be sure and make an appointment. Walk-​ins are welcomed but chances are they will be booked up.

So I’m new to the area and had been looking for an auto place to handle my routine maintenance needs. I picked Midas because of it’s proximity to the naval base and the reviews I read on Unilocal.
I initially dropped by to have my car given a once over, basically they checked all my fluids, brakes, wipers ect. I think this is normally included with any service but I litterLt came by just to have this done, so it cost me like $ 25. It was determined that I needed to have my fuel injection system cleaned, and I decided to go ahead and do an oil change then as well, so we set up an appt for two weeks later.
Fast forward two weeks and I arrived at about 0835 for my 0900 appointment, Tom the friendly face at the front desk let me know that his guys were waiting on me so they could get started (this is why I love early morning appts). I signed the necessary papers, handed over my keys and inquired as to how long the wait would be. Tom told me about 1 ½hrs and pointed out the coffee, yea options and where the tv
control could be found. I knew they had free wifi because of a sticker on the door, so I got the password from Tom and settled into OITNB while I waited.
They finished with my car before 1000, ans after I informed Tom that they had a 10% off for new customers on Unilocal,he had no problem honoring it. Though I will say he didn’t seem readily aware that the offer existed and wasn’t quite sure how it worked, he thought maybe I would be doing a survey
of some sort online. Regardless he gave me my 10% off which saved me almost $ 27 (yay).
So overall good experience, Tom was super nice and chit chatted with me while I waited, they even tightened the tires on some guys jeep who just dropped in. The mechanic who actually worked on my car, I didn’t catch his name but he said hi too, and that I had a really fun car to drive; which he new because apparently part if the service required him to drive it briefly (no worries though, I have full coverage, lol).
So I’ll be back, they officially have my business, and you should consider giving them yours as well.

I am just updating my review because I just had my headlights cleaned/​buffed. and I am SOO HAPPY with the results! Keeping in mind my car was in chicago’s extreme heat and cold (100+ summer humidity, winter –17 plus colder with wind chill, not to mention the salting of the roads) for about 6 years. So my headlights were so hazy I could not see well as well with them, at night as well as not able to make out where my bulbs were (by looking from the front side of the car)
I had tried one of those kits you can buy at the store, to take of the oxidation off the headlights, did not do much.
I was getting excited before the job was even done because I was able to see results from the window! I am beyond excited to make my car look nice again as well as be able to see better at night!

My first experience was good so I went back to this location for more service. We did not connect on what repairs I was or was not interested in for my older car. The diagnostic fee was too high and they were unable to find the problem.

Unlike some other places {rhymes with uckies} I felt confident in the way the owner explained exactly what the issues were on my Land Rover. These guys know automobiles. I recently brought my newer VW in because the brakes were squeaking a little. They diagnosed the issue and had me out of there in less than an hour. If you take the time and talk with anyone that works there you will see they are super helpful, unlike a lot of other mechanics.

Step 2

Rip off and shoddy work. I had my muffler and intermediary pipe replaced by these folks. When I left my car sounded worse than when I brought it in, backfiring even! I just had a look last weekend at the work that they did. First of all the welding job looked like a 3 year-​old with Elmers glue had done it. Secondly, they did not even bother to weld the upper half of the pipe! And lastly, they cut off an important mounting piece on my catalytic converter, making it impossible to replace with quality parts later. All this for $ 350! Do not trust these people!
