IPhone Repair Doctor PC

So I have an IPhone 6 plus and sure enough bend gate happened. I took my precious iPhone to the apple store and they can’t do anything for me. So anyways I’m driving home dejected and pass this place. Worth a shot right?
So I tell the fella whats going on and he says it’ll take an hour and a half. If its the casing it’ll be $ 89 if its the screen and digitizer it’ll be $ 179. So I come back at the specified time and now she works! I pay the man and he tells me theres a 30 day workmanship warranty. Sounds good.
Not 2 days later and the screen starts not responding to my touch. I figure out that I just need to put a bit more pressure on the top right corner and its fine. So I go on with this trick for a few weeks. The next week its worse and I plan on coming in to the shop for that warranty, his fix didn’t work. Only problem is my work schedule for this week is terrible and I’m getting out late as all get out.
Finally I get off when this place is open. I bring in my phone and explain the situation. I show the fella my receipt showing the work done and proof of payment before and he begins to tell me that it 2 days past the warranty. I explain the thing started malfunctioning after a few days and he says thats normal. What?! Then he tells me that warranties don’t apply to anything regarding screens. Why didn’t he tell me that in he first place.
This place seems to do great work but under the very thin sheen the disappointments are glaring.
I youtubed and found the fix and did the work in 10 minutes. He couldn’t do that for me? Jeez.

I discovered the hard way that you cannot put your iPhone in your back pocket and then sit on a hard, wooden 2×4! I cracked the screen. I had driven by Doctor PC, noticed the sign about fixing iPhones, and I said «Why not?» Within an hour and $ 150 later I had a new front and I was on my way. You will find great, friendly service here.

I took my iPad in for a new screen. Once I picked it up I noticed it had an area where the screen kept popping up. When I picked it up, the owner had it under books on a book shelf. He didn’t say anything and I thought it was there to set the screen.
My family left to go to San Diego shortly after. The screen situation did not improve. It had touch issues and the main button was acting up as well. I took it to a shop in San Diego, there I was told the screen was improperly installed and the old adhesive had not been removed before the new screen was put on.
So I had to pay to replace the screen again, have the adhesive properly removed so I could use my iPad again. $ 130 for a piece of glass that they don’t know how to replace. Rendering my iPad useless. I will not be back.

Much cheaper and more convenient than the Apple Store. 1 hour turn around for my iPhone screen + battery.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I took my iPad here to have the screen replaced. They replaced it but it was obvious that something was not right. The new screen acted like someone was touching it and opening apps/​typing even when no one was near it. When I took it back, they gave me a ration of crap. First they accused me of lying because it didn’t happen in the store even though I brought several videos of the behavior on my iPhone. Then the excuses started. When they offered to repair the damage THEY did for only $ 130.00 I’d had enough. Long story, short: they do shoddy work they don’t stand by and expect the customer to pay for their incompetence. Take your business and electronics somewhere else

Went to this place a couple months back to get my iPhone 4’s cracked screen repaired. They asked me to come back in a couple of hours, which I did. I was shown that the iPhone was repaired and functioning well; so I paid and took it home.
Unfortunately I realized on the way home that something was amiss — that swiping wasn’t working on part of the screen. Uh-​oh. I called and the lady who was apologetic and said occasionally some screens don’t work properly. She asked me to bring it back to get a new screen.
The thing is I lived 1 hour away, and it was a pain driving back. But they were nice and fixed it in a couple hours. It’s been two months and I have no problems with it so far.
The moral of the story is to check your phone thoroughly before leaving the store!
Otherwise, high points for customer service.

So, my husband and I recently got new Iphones, and since my husband works at the Naval Shipyard he had to remove his camera in order to take his phone to work. My husband asked around at his work where a good place was for camera removal, and pretty much everyone recommended Dr. PC.
This guy is one of the only ones in the area that does this. And, he does a great job. He has a huge jar of removed cameras on his counter that shows how often he does this service. The job took less than an hour and cost $ 64. The plaster substance he put over the empty camera hole is seamless.
Definitely recommend him for anyone in the same predicament, and looking to remove their cameras from their smartphones :)
