History

Established in 1939.

The 19th Hole is one of the oldest bars in Kitsap County, dating back to 1939. It’s building was first situated at Camp Union and then moved to the corner of Erland’s Point and Chico Way, where currently Town & Country Auto Repair resides. Twenty years later, the structure was moved again to it’s current location. In 2011 Richard Gates purchased the building and property giving it a complete $ 600,000 make over remodel and a shiny new look. A classy sports bar that has 11 flat screens, 22 pull tab bins, and a spectacular view of the Kitsap Golf & Country Club.

Manager

I started working in this industry when I was about 16 years old, bussing tables, coat checking, and caddying on the weekends up at the Kitsap Golf & Country Club where I grew up. When I graduated high school I received a scholarship to play golf over at Eastern Washington University. In Spokane is when I decided to go work for a brand new Outback Steak House trying to make extra money through college. There I learned how to bartend and serve. At that point I knew this was the business I wanted to thrive in. Fine dining was my real passion so after working at a few more restaurants and hotels is when I perused a job back home at The Yacht Club Broiler. There is when I met my «mentor» Mr. Bryant Gardner (current G. M) and became his Asst. Manager where my skill level excelled. After a little over 2 years I had the opportunity to come manage The 19th Hole Bar & Grill. It has been tough through the changes but now working for Mr. Gates I have met my new «Business Mentor»

Many a time I have frequented this establishment… This is a great place to shoot pool, sing Karaōke, or just hangout to meet friends or new people through social drinking & dining. They have really good potato skins, they have a patio as well for summer time and the unique location offers easy access with lots of parking.

The food is never disappointing, the staff is mostly nice and the beer is cold. It’s a little pricey but a pretty nice place to hang out. This time I came on St. Patrick’s day, the corned beef special was great! Awesome mustard!

I do tend to come in later after my own work shift, but the bartenders (Misty the best) here are one of the better staff in the area as far as customer service. You don’t get ignored, they acknowledge you even when busy. Something that drives me crazy in this area too often –the ignoring.
The food is bar food, but it’s been good for the price. The house made chips are awesome. I’ve tried their steak night and taco night. Both probably the better of the cheap deals I’ve tried as well –plus they have great add-​ons to make it even better.
I wish the kitchen was open later as I’d come more often after work. Either way I’ll be back when I can!

We won $ 50 certificate from Facebook, Restaurants of Kitsap County. We ordered the Saturday special, Smoked Prime Rib, scalloped potatoes, and seasoned baby carrots. We ordered the prime rib medium rare and it arrived exactly as requested with regular horse radish and creamed horse radish. The scalloped potatoes we prepared with cheddar cheese in a creamy sauce garnished with fresh chives. The carrots were sautéed in butter, aldente and perfectly seasoned. David, our server was prompt, courteous, and unobtrusive. The staff was friendly and helpful. The five stars was for the food and staff. The chairs and pub tables were a little uncomfortable.

I’ve been in there twice and the service was far too slow. Both times there was hardly anyone in the bar and both times I was sitting at the bar.

Monday Night Steak is awesome. My wife and I go often and sometimes my Dad and his girlfriend come too. It’s great steak, I always get salad with Honey Mustard and Fries.

Stopped by because frankly I did not want to cook. And thought I wanted salad. But the night special was fish and chips… possibly add a salad too-​yup could do that. Well the chips won and were good crispy as was the cod fish that went with. Hubbs ordered a Ceasar salad which came fast and fresh! Could get steak or chicken added to salad too. Salad was clad, crisp and large. Nice dinner with out the cooking!

Consistent great service and great food. Most pubs I visit have good booze and so-​so food, but the food here is great. I’ve been here at least 2 dozen times and it’s always a good experience, and the food is always fantastic.
(It’s funny that sometimes a review on Unilocal will complain about the noise level at a bar. Shouldn’t you complain about the drunk people yelling instead of the establishment itself?) Is it loud here? Of course is, sometimes. It’s a bar. People raise their voices when they drink.

I come on Mondays for $ 6 steak night! Sure, it’s a small steak, but for $ 6, it is a great deal. The staff are friendly, there is a TV on every wall, and it is a cozy place to visit or get drunk with friends. The location is out of the way, but to me, it adds to the charm.

Awesome atmosphere for both ball games and otherwise. The bartenders Misty & Theresa are amazing and very attentive. Great bar food, even better drinks. Definitely worth checking out! They play all the games and have an amazing covered and heated patio that can be enjoyed all year round.

Girlfriend lives about 100 yards away, so this has become a good place to come just on location alone. But I will always go back because of the bartenders and the crowd that goes there. Friendly place, great specials for every day of the week, and the food is pretty good too. Definately worth a visit if you haven’t been.

You have to understand its very hard for me to rate nightlife in Kitsap when there really isnt any… the 19th hole has cheap alcohol and is one of my personal favorite dive bars in bremerton. They seem to have consistant regulars but on a 1 to 10 scale they get a 6. Go to Seattle if you want nightlife

Stella, Chris, Lt. and I walked in and were warmly greeted by the bartender, while not crowded, we did stay and had appetizers and a few drinks. Talked with the bartender about the bars in the area in general and Zoe sums it up as hit and miss. Everyone competeing for same group of people over and over. Some days & nites good some not. So pick your bar «peeps» its the same brew being poured, same drinks, some mix em a little better. My group are on the «Bremerton Mission» were looking for: Safety, Prices, Good Bartenders, Good People in the Crowds. Also a lot of places still owner operated thats high on our list.
