My family and I had such a wonderful stay here this weekend! They did a great job on the recent renovation! We loved the pool and hot tub, the gym was very nice, and the rooms were very nice as well– everything was SO clean and I’m really picky about things being clean! :) Probably one of the greatest thing about this hotel was that there was Gluten free options for breakfast. I did not expect to eat much at breakfast because of my gluten intolerance, so that was a wonderful surprise! This hotel had a wonderfully helpful, kind staff as well… I’m very pleased with our stay. Good job, Holiday Inn Express, Breezewood! :)

we chose this hotel randomly after having to leave our original hotel due to how disgusting it was(best western in hershey). we got here at around 9:30pm and they checked us in easily. the rooms are very clean and newly renovated and the hotel itself is currently under renovation. they didn’t work on the renovations at night so we didn’t have to try to sleep through construction noise. the beds were really comfy and the bathrooms were nice. the next morning we had a really yummy breakfast with lots of options. the morning that we stayed they had biscuits and gravy, cheese omelettes(yum), sausage, oatmeal, fruit, pancakes, toast, cinnamon rolls, and more! the breakfast was constantly maintained and kept full and clean. the staff will even help you make your pancakes if you want. overall the hotel was very clean & pleasant, had a nice breakfast, and had helpful hotel staff.

Stayed here one night and was pretty happy with my stay. The hotel was in the process of remodeling and we received a newly remodeling room but it wasn’t finished yet. No major missing things tho only stuff like only drapes and something missing from the closet which I didn’t even notice until the man at the front desk told me, the lady working the night forgot to mention it. The hotel provided ear plugs for the noise of the construction which helped a lot. The room was clean and bathroom as well so no complaints there. The only thing I didn’t like was that I wasn’t offered a lowered rate due to the construction and noise and being given a room that wasn’t completely finished. Also the room smelled like fresh paint which I couldn’t stand. Aside from the construction and smell my stay wasn’t bad. The price was a little higher than I would have liked to pay though.

We were happy to be able to make a late arrival guarantee from 15 miles away. We did not anticipate having to spend the night. They were able to reserve us a room simply by taking down our credit card number. That peace of mind of knowing we have a place to rest for the evening(while still driving) was comforting. Having a nice room at the end of hall with a ton of soft pillows and a tightly made bed was the best for a exhausting evening. Thanks Holiday Express!

I’d say this is the worst holiday inn express I’ve stayed in. This is coming from a platinum member and a frequent(at least 70 nights in a hotel a year) traveler. There was hair in the tub drain that I had to remove to get the water to flow. So nasty … Speaking of why is there a creepy brown anti slip mat in the tub? That can’t possibly be sanitary. There was also long brown hair on the pillow. Housekeeping is seriously lacking. The walls are thin, the bed is hard, and breakfast is the same every day. Any other express has a revolving menu. Breakfast is actually so terrible I gave up on it and started going to bob Evans next door. The powdered eggs are gross, the bacon is so overdone it seems dehydrated. Just bad. The outdoor pool has no hottub and is at such an odd shape you can’t even really swim laps. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere for a hotel if possible. This one just isn’t good.

We stopped here as an overnight stop on our way home from Ohio. Everyone we came across was really nice. Breakfast was delicious. my nephew loved the«Pancakes in a minute machine!!» He loved making his own breakfast! Room was very clean, as was the bathroom! & heated outdoor pool was very relaxing!

I stay here a few times a year because it’s the middle point on the 13 hour drive to visit family. The location is right at the entrance/exit of the toll road which is ideal but the street in front of the Holiday Inn is insanely crowded with stopped traffic and the traffic lights are so slow that it will make you crazy. There are lots of restaurants and gas stations around. The hotel itself is clean and quiet but a big problem is that the rooms don’t have their own fridge and microwave. I always travel with my own food and then warm it up in the microwave but at this hotel I had to walk all the way down to the lobby, wait in line, and then ask the front desk person to warm my food up in their employee lounge. They were very nice about it, but it was inconvenient. I guess at this hotel the room phones are just for decoration. One night, about midnight, I could hear the person in the next room snoring so loudly that I was unable to sleep. Even with my earplugs in and air conditioning on, I could still hear it so by 2am I wanted to call the lobby to asked to be moved to another room, but the phone didn’t work. Needless to say, I didn’t get any sleep that night. During my stay the following week, I was in a different room and immediately checked the phone and again found that it didn’t work. Breakfast is decent. There is a good variety of cereals, pancakes, yogurt, eggs, bacon, etc. Making conversation, I asked the woman who was running breakfast what exactly she had in the back to cook with– a convection oven or hot plate? She said everything was cooked in the microwave. The beds are very firm and the bathroom is very basic. The executive rooms are much nicer and the bathroom has higher end touches but those rooms are only on the first floor and as a female traveling alone, I just don’t feel safe on the first floor of any hotel. This place is overpriced but the location is right in the middle of my long drive and that’s the only reason I keep returning.

it’s ok. 1 person does not need 2 queen beds… but the price of a single king was more — and i dont need a single king either. $ 110 with aaa discount for 6 hours of sleep. 32″ TV with hdmi input. free wifi. climate: icy or roasting. no in between. hard bed. fluffy pillows. fitness center? they should just not have one. it’s such a bummer to actually be excited to exercise and see one bike, one treadmill, one elliptical and random nothing. it would be better served as an arcade. buffet in the am was standard fare: grade d(but edible) eggs, sketchy sausage, oatmeal packets, hot water, bananas, apples, cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc etc. i’d go again because it was swell in a pinch and the local competition did not look very pleasing.

Clean, wifi, good buffet. Front desk was very helpful taking a refundable reservation for us from the road and had the roll-a-way waiting in the room as promised when we arrived after midnight. As mentioned on trip advisor, beds were overly soft; it didn’t bother my crew as we were so exhausted. It was a very good stopping point for my family of 5.

It was okay. Room was nice and clean. Customer service was friendly. Only real hotel in Breezewood though. Can’t say that there really is any other competition for good Hotel service. Now motel service on the other hand, Breezewood could not have enough of those.

We stopped here for one night as we traveled through PA. Great stop with a clean room, very friendly and warm staff that made us feel at home. One thing that we really enjoyed was the breakfast. Traveling with 2 little ones makes a good breakfast a must. The selection for breakfast was great and the«automatic pancake maker» was a hit! Will definitely keep this Holiday Inn Express in mind as we travel back through PA. Keep up the good work. –m

Stopped here just to overnight from Lancaster to Indianapolis. This is pretty much my ideal hotel — not luxurious, no frills, but very spacious(high ceilings, large walk-in shower, very large rooms), attractive, reasonably priced, and immaculate. What more could you want in a business hotel? If I could stay in hotels like this in all my travels I would be a very happy man(and other Holiday Inn Express franchisees should take note of this)! On a small side note, the rooms only have hard-wired Internet(free). I would prefer WiFi. But other than that, for what it is(a budget business hotel on a freeway interchange), you won’t find anything nicer than this hotel!

Ah Breezewood. So many times in college I have stopped here on a Greyhound en route from Philly to Pittsburgh. It was only fitting that my husband and I made it our first stop on our cross country drive. You can’t miss Breezewood, it’s the town of hotels. We were checked in quickly and in our room in no time. The parking lot was well lit(something you don’t think about until you are traveling with your most expensive and precious possessions.) The room was standard, the breakfast buffet was good, and surprisingly the work out room was not the size of a closet.
