History

Established in 1985.

RDB Inc was formed when Doug Briggs moved to Portland, ME after working at Apple Computer Inc. We began by developing FoxPro applications to support local businesses.

In the late 1990s we began developing online applications that moved business applications from the desktop to the Internet. The business then moved to CO in 2000. We continued developing online applications and web sites as well as added remote and on-​site IT (information technology) support to our list of services.

Business Owner

Doug received his degree in Computer Science in 1981. He began work at Apple immediately upon graduation acting as a technical support engineer and becoming a technical support supervisor before leaving Apple to start R Douglas Briggs Inc.

Working at RDB Inc, Doug has created countless LAN and Web based solutions for his clients. When the business moved to Colorado, Doug began providing home and office technical support to the services he provides.

Doug enjoys sailing, skiing and mountain biking.
