Peak 1 Express

Terrible experience on 1÷31÷2016. Two hours delay getting to Denver airport, which made me miss my flight. As a result I spent the day in the airport on standby and got home at 1 a.m. instead of 5 p.m. as scheduled. Pick up was 45 minutes late and we spent more than an hour waiting for the shared van in Dillon. Apparently 6 or 7 inches or snow are enough to get these guys totally stuck. The driver of our car was willing to take us straight to the airport, but the dispatcher would not let him, because they needed the car. Which means they don’t even have a backup car or other vehicle. If a transport service in the mountains cannot get you to the airport in time with more than two hours to spare, due to a bit of snow (this was NOT the major storm that arrived that same week, just a few inches over night), then what is the point? Never, ever again will I book with them.

I have been driving for Peak 1 Express for the last month and without a doubt, the company’s standard of excellence for customer service as well as employee support is outstanding. From day one, management has made a commitment to being the best in the market, for providing safe, punctual and comfortable transportation for it’s guests, a professional staff that is well-​trained and vehicles that are meticulously maintained. I hear customers praise us every day for being so much better than our competition, and it feels good.

Doug was amazing!!! Best shuttle ride I’ve ever had. He had water and magazines and always made sure we were comfortable!

Easy and fast. Andy was our driver and was great. We rode from Beaver Creek to DIA during storm Kayla and everything went well! I will definitely recommend to friends that visit in the future! Thanks!

Seriously I don’t know what I would do without peak one express! Such a great company with amazing drivers! I come to Vail every two weeks from Chicago to visit my boyfriend and thankfully I make herein one piece every time. Doug is the best!!! very and punctual! I also had a ride with Adam and he rocked!!! The only negative would be that they are a bit pricey and I wish there was a frequent rider program for someone like myself since I utilize them so much. Otherwise I wouldn’t ride with any other company.

Update: 1.5 HOURS LATE, ALMOST MISSED FLIGHT and most of the other passengers definitely missed their flights. Only reason we made ours is bc we are premier flyers with TSA pre-​check. We still had to run and they closed the doors behinds us.
Bottom line: pick up time confirmed via text from the company last night at 930pm for a pick up at 0850am; we finally were picked up at 1020 (90 minutes late). Got to the airport at 1pm, and our flight was at 2pm. No communication from the company except when I called Marcus’ personal cell phone after 4 of their numbers didn’t work.
I’m giving this a 1 star bc that’s the only option. Also, our pick up from the airport to Breckenridge went smoothly, so if only based on that trip would prob give it 3 stars. BUT, I’ve been sitting at my lodge for the last HOUR + waiting for a shuttle pick up with NO CONTACT except what I initiated it. The 4 phone numbers provided all went straight to an automated message that said, «this phone number is unallocated.» I finally reached someone by doing the live chat via their website where I was told by Lauren that Mike is no longer our driver but instead Abby is and we were next on her list so it would be another 15 minutes. That was over 30 mins ago. Marcus was nice enough to call using his personal cell because he said he tried to use the work phone but said the work phone couldn’t reach my cell phone. He also told me 30mins ago that it would be only 15 mins out. I just called again and he listed three other stops that ‘Abby’ must make before coming to get us. I get the weather is bad (snowing right now), but the lack of communication, then blatantly wrong information (I.e. Lying) makes me want to rate this service negative stars. With the bad weather in mind, the fact that we may now only get to the airport 1.5 hours before our flight really makes me irate. The other thing is they had no problem contacting us via text last night to confirm our pick up time was 0850am, but now nothing; no updates with a new time. The paperwork did say the time change could be up to 45 mins earlier or later but we would receive a notification via text or a phone call and nothing.
There was one more pick up and the guy who was picked up also was picked up 90 minutes late. He also spoke with management who said they would do nothing to help any passengers who missed their flights; no reimbursement for the delayed shuttle service and definitely no help with costs to change flight. I am usually only a positive reviewer but this experience was the worst travel experience I’ve had in 10 years. The only thing that tops it is traveling in Brazil and our flights got switched to the other airport on the other side of the city. But even then the taxi driver drove his butt off to get us to the airport. ‘Meghan,’ the new name of the driver when she picked us up, felt no sense of urgency and I think drive slower than the speed limit. She was quite friendly, chatting the whole time upfront but not trying to get us to the airport even though all of us voiced that we would be missing our flights very vocally.
If we had been told the shuttle would be 1.5 hours late, we could have planned to get something to eat on the shuttle because we completely missed lunch which we planned to do at the airport bc we were supposed to get to the airport 3 hours before we took off. No communication was the worst of it and the driver had no reason nor did Marcus or Lauren.
Now, knowing what I know, we would have found a different company who would actually pick us up on time and demanded a refund. Don’t use this company.

Chase from peak 1 is probably the best driver they have! Highly suggested if you can grt him! Vail is lucky to have him and they should pay him 3x more!

This is our first trip to Breckenridge and our driver, Frédéric Santos was the best! On time, professional, fun and he even pointed out historical sites along the way. On top of that he knows those roads like the back of his hand! I felt completely safe the entire time. Book this company and ask for Frédéric!

Had these guys pick us up from Denver int’l and bring us back. Amazing drivers and super informative about the area. Gregg was amazing! Super friendly and knowledgable ! Will book thru them again!

We just used Peak 1 Express for our ski trip to Breckenridge and loved it. It was so easy to catch our ride from the airport and our driver, Tommy, was so friendly and informative during the trip! We would definitely use them again.

I see many good reviews. I only wish I could report a similar experience. I used Peak 1 Express to get my family from Avon to the Denver airport on New Year’s Day. They were an entire hour late picking us up which resulted in a VERY stressful ride to the airport. After they picked us up, they still had four more pickup stops. I checked online, and I could see that our airline was completely sold out for their flights to our destination for the next two days. We did make our flight but just barely. Had we missed it, it’s likely we would have been stuck in Denver for a few days. Because it was so stressful, I just can’t see myself using them again.

I just want to say how fabulous the service was into and out of Breckenridge. Great communication! The ride out was beautiful and our driver was giving history and pointing out the sites! Keep up the great work!

I had to leave my vacation a little earlier than my friends to attend a business trip and Peak 1 Express was very accommodating. The shuttle was incredibly easy to book, fairest price I could find for a shuttle, & my driver Gregg was awesome! Highly recommend and will use then again when I come back to Breck.

On time pick up. Clean van. Very comfortable & warm. Nice driver. ON board wifi & bottled water.
My only «complaint» was that the suggested pick up time (picking me up & going to the airport) was not sufficient for peak travel time in Denver.
(The airport lines were like none Ive ever seen. I was the last person to get to my gate before doors closed so I to that end, I DID make it but I generally like a bit more leeway ;)
Oh also they’re pricing was good, in line with Colorado Mountain Express & not exorbitant. I panicked because I couldnt find a decently priced shuttle for my ride TO the airport & only had one FROM it (on CME). I was so relieved to find P1 in a Google search & find they didnt cost hundreds of dollars.

Gregg was our driver and was absolutely fabulous in every way! He made sure we were all safe, kept us hydrated, and entertained. If I could give more stars I would. Thanks Gregg!!!

When I travel i don’t like to think about anything, better yet I love to travel and have made zero plans and ask someone to do the thinking for me. Bradie became my brain. Dude knew everything I asked. Where’s a good coffee, who has cheap drinks, what time should I leave to get to airport on time, dude knew it all. Glad we crossed paths, hopefully I get him again.

Very safe driver… You can tell he really cares about giving a safe ride. A true professional.

Why would someone make the round trip drive to DIA to pick someone up when Peak 1 is so reasonably priced and so efficient.

Thanks for the ride and most of all thanks for letting my honey stay home and ski instead of spending half her day making the round trip to DIA.
