Cultivating Spirits

We had our honeymoon in Breck (Oct 3 – 10, 2015) and this was FIRST on the to-​do list. I booked MONTHS in advance (I’m a planner) and Philip (owner) personally contacted me through the whole planning process. He kept saying he was going to make it super special. He wasn’t wrong! His whole team was professional and so much fun to be around.
The limo picked us up & Angelique (our hostess) educated us about cannabis and terpenes & food pairing with it. Our first stop was at High Country Healing, where Joe (budtender) overwhelmed us with buds, jars & smells! He made us feel so relaxed We stopped at the eatery to meet with our chef and have an appetizer. He was absolutely amazing and food was scrumptious! Next we went to our private wine tasting & pairing with Susanne (Frisco Wine Merchant). Another great fun educated lesson, she was a hoot! Then we went back to the eatery for our delicious entrée & dessert. Also, we had the best Fall scenic route. We LOVED everything about it! We would love to do it again!

What an incredible night to teach friends about the world of Cannabis!!! Phil & Angelique go above an beyond to make every tour so unique, from the cannabis and wine pairings, to the gormet dinners!!! You don’t smoke weed like an average joe, you live the new world of true cannabis connoisseurs!

Cultivating Spirits combines so many things I love about this beautiful state of Colorado. Amazing food prepared by passionate people, pairing authentically grown cannibis with the experience. In addition we indulged in a wine tasting aligned with our meal and a tour through the mountains of God’s Country breathing in the fresh crisp mountain air. What an amazing night with close friends and sharing this as well as gaining knowledge. The staff at Cultivating sprites will create a personal experience with whatever you have wanted to indulge in the Rocky Mountains and make sure that you are in a safe happy environment Whether it is just a day to indulge, birthday, bachlorette or bachelor party or just want the full Rocky Mountain high it’s something that can’t be missed!

I was recently privileged with a very unique experience. I went on a limo tour around the beautiful Silverthorne, co and surrounding area’s. A few friends and myself were taken to a local commercial kitchen and given a preview of the upcoming meal we were going to enjoy, by the chef or in this case ‘pit master’ that was preparing the meal. The ‘pit master’ from Moe’s bbq in Breckenridge took time to sit down and give us a informative and detailed tutorial on how he was preparing our food. As we were watching and learning we were served a plate that had samples of all the upcoming courses. After we got the run-​down on our supper we went back to the limo and went and toured High Country Healing. In my opinion the most professional and highly reputed dispensary in the high country. We made some purchase’s of high quality cannabis through knowledgable and informative ‘bud tenders’ and back to the limo for a tour around the county to soak up the amazing views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The guide was informative and shared some fun facts about the area. When the 30 to 45 minute joy ride was over we made our way back to the kitchen where our chef served us a fresh, hot, delicious, bbq supper. It was a refreshing, pleasant experience full good laughs, great conversation, and amazing scenery. I would definitely recommend this unique experience to anyone who is interested in enjoying a good meal and learning about and seeing Summit County, or learning about and enjoying cannabis legally while you soak in some epic views. Definitely worth the time and money!

Cultivating Spirits was an amazing experience like nothing else I’ve ever done or seen before. From the 5 star meals, to the first class service, to some of the best herb I have ever smoked. Phillip Wolf «our guide» was so knowledgeable and just made the trip that much more fun. He picked my group up in a limo, we went to a wine tasting, we took a ride around beautiful Lake Dillion. It was very classy. I would definitly recommend this trip to anyone who comes from out of town or already lives here. Thanks again Cultivating Spirits for showing me an awesome time!

I was gifted the opportunity to go on a cabanas and culinary excursion put on by Cultivating Spirits; their mission is to «provide responsible, educational and spirited cannabis experiences in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.» They did just that, the first leg of the trip starting off at the High Country Healing a medical and recreational cannabis club that works hand in hand with C Spirits to insure that you are being provided with the proper marijuana to bring about an amazingly tasty experience diligently planned for your taste buds. The Black Pearl was our ride for the night, she chauffeured us around the beautiful and historically rich town of Dillon Colorado, passing by Lake Dillon we get a brief history of the lake and the town that sleeps under it as we are smoking Bubba Kush and a few other strains purchased from HCH. I learned from one of the knowledgeable staff at HCH when one breaks up the bud of Bubba Kush in it’s most recognizable sent (for a novice marijuana smoker) can often be described smelling like a barbecue. This was perfect pairing because we were on our way to a private dining hall where we were greeted by an expert pit master and local BBQ legend from Moe’s Barbecue, and Alabama style restaurant. We arrived at a community kitchen which had a very modern and industrial artsy feel to it, the setting was perfect to start learning about what we were going to be eating. The chef from Moe’s educated us on the strips of meat we would be dining on, how to properly prepare Alabama style rubs and sauces as well as how to compliment the meal with side dishes.
I was a bit skeptical walking into a cooking class in lack of better words… high and a bit tipsy from the limo ride, but the atmosphere was great, our tour guide made the ambiance comfortable and safe which was my biggest concern. We were all thoroughly enjoying our selves, smiles all around, great company and I found my self starting to feel like I was experiencing a revolutionary twist on smoking pot and getting the munchies. I totally understood and appreciated not just the name of Cultivating Spirits but what it was really about and how innovative the idea of paring pot and food together making a fusion of raw human connections and tasty eats. It may have been the pot getting to me but the night was turning out to be way more than I imagined it to be. Before we knew it we were back in the Black Pearl while the chef was cooking our dinner. We were driven around Swan Mountain which has spectacular views every which way you look. The limo was once again filled with smoke, great locally brewed beer and lots of smiles. This was all in preparation to coming back to the kitchen so we could grub down on the Barbecue. We walked into the dining hall where the chef had prepared everything for us to simply sit down and eat. It was exceptional, like no other group dinner date I had been on, the marijuana pared like a fine wine with our dinner, just as we were told. I can only speak from my self but cultivated spirits simply impressed me and I would confidently recommend anyone to this exciting and educational experience.

My favorite part of the evening was the cooking class where I learned boat loads of new information, some of which I now use when cooking meals for myself (salt leftover noodles to prevent them from sticking).
