This was my first experience with microdermabrasion, and I am pleasantly surprised! Dr. Marla explained the treatment thoroughly, and made me feel very comfortable. Her workspace is very comfortable and inviting. My face hasn’t felt this fresh and clean in a very very long time! I will definitely be returning in the next couple of weeks! Highly recommend her!

Marla is fantastic and I’m so glad I found her. I originally found her through groupon and bought a chemical peel package. I was at first a little skeptical but after reading all the positive reviews I thought I would give her a try… and I’m so glad I did!
She knows what she is doing, is very knowledgable and uses a great line (I think it’s Bio Elements). I appreciate her special attention to my skin as I have problematic skin. My skin looks younger, healthier and I really look forward to my appointments with her. And it’s true what they say in the other reviews, she gives an amazing neck and shoulder message during a mask.

I love this lady! Since I found her, I go nowhere else for my facials and microdermabrasion and her prices are so great that I can treat myself regularly. She does a wonderful job, is knowledgeable, and as an added bonus, has a fantastic personality. I have sent my husband, mother-​in-​law and numerous friends to her, so obviously, I sincerely trust her and her work. My skin looks amazing!

I visited Dr. Marla from a groupon offer to treat myself to a facial and she is amazing! I would only get facials from time to time but the results I’m getting from my microdermabrasion and facials made me a regular client. She explained each product she used on me and walked me through the facial. So happy Dr. Marla has gotten my skin to a place where its even toned and I can go out without make up. I also noticed her Chiropractic degree on her wall and defiantly had her work on relieving the aches and pains I experience with my back. I always look forward to seeing Dr. Marla. I highly recommend her to everyone.

I have to say that after just 3 treatments with Marla, my skin looks completely different! I’ve been trying to get rid of my old acne scars and I can’t believe what a difference this has made! Marla also has the blue acne light which has really boosted the results! On top of it, Marla makes every appointment great. She is so welcoming and friendly… she cracks me up every time I go! I love going to her! She’s also really flexible which I appreciate SO much with my hectic schedule. One time, she actually opened her doors 45 minutes early for me because I had something come up later in the day and was worried I would be late if I stayed with my existing appointment time. Even better, she is very reasonably priced! Is she in a big, overpriced, snooty salon? No. But her treatment room is very soothing with a comfortable bed and nice, calming music. I always feel refreshed and rejuvenated when I leave… and my skin looks fantastic. That’s what it’s about, right? You won’t be disappointed if you give her a try!

My last three microdermabrasion experience has been absolutely great! Each session I noticed a difference; glowing and smoother each time. Marla is great at what she does and is very personable. She makes you feel comfortable and her mini neck/​shoulder massage during the treatment is FANTASTIC!

My skin is glowing today! It has been a pleasure finding Dr. Marla and receiving a microdermabrasion treatment. She is very knowledgeable and is very honest with how she is going to go about the treatment as far as intensity and what will work with your skin. She also had great recommendations for how to treat my skin at home so that it will keep looking beautiful until my next visit.
Her studio is conveniently located at Imperial Hwy and Puente Street in Brea. Her space is clean and cozy and is located on the second floor. She didn’t push any product on me which I appreciated, but since the product made my skin look and feel so great I ended up starting the product purchase conversation!
As far as the negative reviews on here, I’m wondering if we are even talking about the same person… I love Dr. Marla!

Never a dull treatment. Dr Marla is very attentive and polite to her clients. I signed up for 5 treatments and just by having done 2 already iam pretty sure that my skin has improved and the good thing is that she’s a good listener she will recommend and help you address your concerns.
Will definitely recommend! and continue to purchase after my treatments are used.

My facial was very painful, but it might be because I was taking RetinA. Ive been getting facials for years and it hurt the most this time than any others. Im probably spoiled because the past three times I’ve gotten facials was at Glen Ivy and they’re amazing. Marla was nice, and the best part of the facial was the massage, however I didn’t like that she would start putting things on my face without letting me know before. I probably wont be buying facials off Unilocal or Groupon anymore and just pay the extra $ 30 to go to Glen Ivy.

I’ve been going to see Marla since March. I have seen a significant change in my skin and my face discoloration is almost gone. I appreciate the packages that she offers as I can pay for five sessions in advance and be able to enjoy my session without having to think about $. Her massages are incredible, I highly recommend her! I look forward to my Saturday appointments!

It was a little hard to find Dr. Marla at first (I didn’t realize she was inside a chiropractic office) but she was friendly and accommodating which instantly put me at ease. As opposed to the outer office, her room is comfortable, clean, and inviting. She takes time time to explain what she will be doing prior to starting and welcomes all questions. Her products smelled wonderful and I think this this is probably on of the best microderms I’ve ever had. She includes a neck/​shoulder massage while you’re relaxing with a collagen mask. Prices are extremely reasonable… I signed up for 5 more!

Marla’s service is amazing and I love her personality. Whenever I leave her facility, I leave feeling relaxed. She takes her time and doesn’t rush the facials at all. I LOVE the aromatherapy she includes (at no extra charge) with each visit. I totally recommend her.

Dr. Marla is amazing! I have been going to her for a few months and have noticed a change in my skin. I have sensitive skin, so for me she changes out the tip for the microdermabrasion which works perfect for me. Her massages are such an added bonus. I have been to many different spas that are more about their aesthetics and not the quality of the work. Her pricing and work is awesome! She is super friendly and I look forward to every appointment!

The first time I got a microdermabrasion treatment and facial by Dr. Marla, I knew I would never go to anyone else again! She is absolutely the best and I am not exaggerating. Get just one treatment yourself and you will say the same. She is truly a skin care expert and she really spends the time on my skin, making sure to go over every area. I’ve been back to her about 4 or 5 times now and it’s always an enjoyable experience. Her room is adorable– tranquil and cozy– with a lovely fountain going. She spends a lot of time on the treatment and I’ve never had such thorough microderm treatments before. Then she follows it with a fabulous facial. She is knowledgeable and very friendly. We talk and laugh through most of the treatments but I notice if I’m quiet (like when I am getting that amazing neck and shoulder massage that she follows each treatment with) she is also quiet. I like the fact that she is really fun to talk with but takes her job seriously. And not only are her treatments WAY above average– her prices are WAY below average– about half what most charge and what you’d expect to pay– literally! She is a true professional and a great esthetician. I actually have an appointment tomorrow so I will have smooth, glowing skin for the weekend! So glad I found Dr. Marla!

I purchased a deal through groupon and was a little hesitant at first from previous experiences of using groupon or deal sites like that.
My experience with Marla and her services were wonderful. She took her time and patience to explain the microdermabrasion and answered all my million questions. She never tried to sell me anything and even gave me examples of products that I could buy at a drug store. I have got facials for many years and not once has anyone ever gave me alternative products that could be bought at a drug store. So at that moment I realized Marla really loved her job and helping people.
I will continue to receive services from Marla and also I really like she give options for add on services. Her prices are affordable and she really goes out of her way to give you the best service for your face.

Last year I was fortunate enough to find Marla and her services on groupon. Most deals I purchase on groupon I try for a short duration of time and then look for other opportunities. However, I have continued to get microdermabrasions from Marla for a over a year!!!
Although she is located in a chiropractic office, she has transformed her room into a most relaxing and soothing spa-​like atmosphere. Her décor taste is lovely.
She spends a lot of time on the microdermabrasion which I most appreciate because often when I purchase a groupon I feel I receive subpar service since I bought it at discount. Thanks to Marla I no longer feel the need to wear makeup every day. I feel so confident knowing my skin is clear and glowing thanks to her.
Another reason Marla is the best is because she doesn’t push products on you. She is very knowledgable about skincare and has even recommended me less costly product lines as alternatives.

Not a typical «spa» environment, as Dr. Marla shares a space with a sports medicine chiropractor, but she has made a nice little space for her treatments. Found Skin Divas originally through a groupon certificate, but since have signed up for regular microdermabrasion treatments. I believe Skin Divas is the most economical and reasonable I’ve found, plus adding the facial and massage to her treatments — how can you go wrong. I have now been with Skin Divas for almost a year!

Marla is definitely not a people person in any shape or form other than physically. Her skin isn’t great & she is not friendly. She did not smile once! It was my first (& last visit) & she greeted me with an uninviting, «Are you Jacqueline? I’ll be right with you» as she made copies for another 5 – 6 minutes while I waited in the deathly quiet lobby of an outdated rehabilitation facility that smelled like a hospice home.
Then we awkwardly walked all the way around the facility in silence until we reached her service room. I asked if I could use the restroom before we start, she replied with a loud sigh and said, «It’s all the way where we just came from!» At that point I knew I was in for a special treat.
Actual microderm– I had informed Marla that I get microderm done regularly (4 – 6 wks) but I was looking for a new place since I had recently moved to the area so when she proceeded to explain to me what microderm is & then went on to use the dullest diamond tip i’ve ever felt… I was very underwhelmed and frankly confused. Her phone went off repeatedly during the facial and she used the same towel to first wipe the lotion off my neck & shoulders to then wipe my mask from my face?
After the service she asked me for a tip!!! I had just gotten up & put my sandals on & before I could catch my balance, she literally asked, «Are you going to leave a tip?»
The facility was mediocre, the actual service was subpar & Marla asked me to give her a tip before I could fully stand up.

I don’t normally write a lot of negative reviews. But my experience with Skin Diva Esthetics just wasn’t satisfactory at all. I decided to share my experience with everyone here.
I bought a a 75-​minute European deep cleansing facial for $ 23 on Spreebird deal. I should’ve be alarmed when the price was reduced so much. I bought the deal without doing much research thinking it was a great bargain.
The pros: She did all of the necessary procedures, including cleansing, exfoliating, extracting, and facial mask. She even used a skin scanner device to deep clean my face. My appointment actually lasted a little more than 75 minute. She didn’t try to sell any skin care products to me, which I appreciated. I don’t enjoy being pushed to buy more products while trying to enjoy a relaxing facial. She gave me a shoulder and neck massage while waiting for my mask to dry. Her massage was superb! She used the right amount of force and her gentle touch immediately sooth out the tension on my shoulder.
The cons: Her fingers were icy cold when she touched my face initially. Granted it was a cold morning, but I wish she could’ve warm her hands. All of the equipments, towels in the office looked old. I almost laughed out loud when she creatively use scotch tapes to tape the towel that was holding my hair together.
In spite of her relaxing massage on my shoulder, her touch on my face didn’t feel that great. It felt like she was just pushing a bunch of creams on my face in a random motion. Her exfoliation was painful! It felt like she was grinding down on my nose bones and trying to squeeze out all the blackheads on my nose. I almost burst into tears.
She put on some kind of mud mask on my face. Instantly my face was burning up when she was applying the mask. I had no idea what she put on my face. I should’ve ask her but I didn’t. Later that night I found red splotches all over my cheeks and chin. It looked like allergy. But my skin isn’t the sensitive type. This has never happened to me before. After a few days my face started peeling. It looked really horrible! Up until now, I still have no idea what she put on my face…
