I recently got my first Brazilian wax done at the Pretty Kitty. I was lucky to have the wonderful Ruby as my esthetician. She was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable in what can be a very uncomfortable situation. I am so happy with the result and will never go back to shaving! Thanks pretty kitty :)

I had The Best waxing experience. I hadn’t been waxed in a year, so it was a worst case scenario (and I’m Italian.) My Wax only took 30 minutes including changing. Nikki was Fast, Efficient, Pain-​free, and fun to talk to. Hands down the most Pain free, Excellent Waxing I’ve ever gotten. Also Very affordable. My new Go-​To.

I still give this place an awesome 5-​star rating. I went in today to get my friend done cause it was time and GINA was amazing! After the first girl I was introduced too wasn’t in my schedule range any longer I was booked with Gina and she just made my experience awesome!
Whenever I book my appointments I do my best to book on her days! She makes it so much easier every time I go in and I always leave feeling amazing!

Where do I begin… Nikki was absolutely amazing! If anyone could make an uncomfortable nerve racking situation, into a laughter filled feel like you’re chating with your best friend experience… Then Nikki and girls at Pretty Kitty do just that! Thank you for making my first so fun!!!

I am a huge wimp when it comes to pain and normally dread getting a Brazilian. This place has made me feel very different. I had a wonderful experience with Ruby! She was extremely patient and friendly during the entire experience and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. She managed to explain everything to me while keeping my experience quick and as minimally painful as possible. She answered all my questions and recommended products for me to use. The business in general was very clean and welcoming. I will definitely come back when it’s time for my next wax.

As soon as I walk in they are ready to go! That’s why they tell you to please get there five minutes before your appointment! You have no time to sit down and ponder over the choices you are about to make! Which is good because you have no time to get nervous! You’ll be in and out in less than fifteen minutes! The office is really cute, powder pink and super girly! The staff is really nice!
The rooms are clean and decorated so adorable! Your told to get undressed… depending on what your getting done! They offer all types of waxing but they are very well known for the Brazilian! It’s best to let your hair grow out for more than three weeks to get better results! The Esthesian (Niki) will make you feel so comfortable and keep talking to you about the procedure and how to exfoliate afterwards! Of course all the while she’s taking your mind off of the awkward position your in! She does it very well! Before you know it it’s all over and your getting dressed! :)
It’s recommended to get it done every six weeks but if you can’t handle it, they will take you at four weeks. Plenty of parking across the street or if you get lucky there’s some spots right in front (located across from Bruxies)
No need to be nervous! If your thinking of doing it! Just do it! TIP: No kids allowed… leave them at home!

I was nervous about getting my first brazilian, but after a few recommendations from my friends, this was the place for me! I almost chickened out a few times through out the day but just went through with it. I figured if thousands of other woman can get it done, so can I.
My biggest tip for any Brazilian and why you should choose TPK: Go to a place that specializes in waxing.
–DO NOT go to your nail salon or multi-​service place.
There’s a reason these ladies do waxing and waxing only. They really know what they’re doing and they won’t hurt you.
Yeah there’s the initial pain, I mean it is waxing, but TPK will have you in and out all clean and fresh.
Special thank you to Rosie who just took no BS and made me feel comfortable and confident despite being in a physically/​mentally/​emotionally vulnerable position.
Among other tips: the ibuprofen an hour before helps, wear loose or light clothing, bring a new clean pair of undies, make sure you have an exfoliating brush at home, get the stuff they sell for the after care… seriously so worth it.

Moving to a new place means all new everything and finding the person you are going to trust to smear hot wax on you and then literally yank it off all in the name of beauty is not something that should be taken lightly. So when I moved here I did my research and decided to come to Gina.
Since I’m not on a plane I will say that Gina is the BALM​.COM (spelling yes you know what I mean). She can drop mad knowledge around hair growth cycles if you’re interested in learning or she can prattle on to keep your mind occupied, but the most important thing is that she knows her stuff. She is a pro with waxing, is super fast, has a lovely demeanor and the results are fantastic.
When I was first reading reviews on here I was a little nervous because it seemed like most of the reviewers had low review numbers but were all 5 stars (that’s a red flag raiser in my book) but those Unilocalers are right! The Pretty Kitty is Woohoo! As good as it gets!

I had a great experience here for my first Brazilian and I am definitely coming back. The staff is super friendly! I wish I could say it was painless but I’d be lying. Plus side is my next session will be less painful since I won’t have to deal with the extra blood circulation due to being pregnant! Hooray!
