Don’t waste your money here. I’m in town visiting my sister and I needed a manicure and she needed a pedicure. Her usual place had a wait so we decided to take a chance on a new place because we were at target. We thought, how bad can it be? Well, bad enough that I’ll be having my $ 30 gel manicure taken off as soon as I get home. The manicure itself was bad enough, in that my cuticles and nails were not trimmed correctly. She tried to fix them during and after putting the polish on, but I still have pretty ragged nails. For the polish, I asked for French tips, and she did a terrible job with making the tips even. When you are charging $ 4 extra for special polish, you should know how to freaking do it. Then, one of my nails bumped the inside of the light(because it was balanced on my lap on a pillow) and smudged, and she didn’t redo the nail — she just tried to fix it but didn’t even bother to remove all the errant white polish. At that point, my terrible manicure had taken so long(I went in with naked nails, it should NOT have taken so long) I just wanted to pay and go so we could get on with our day. What a waste.

I should have read the reviews before coming here. I’m regretting it now and may redo my nails elsewhere tomorrow. My friend and I walked in without an appointment and are new to this place. The whole process was extremely rough. Gina did my nails. She didn’t ask what shape I liked it and just did square until I told her I preferred it more round. She also didn’t buff my nails so a lot of sharp edges were still there. When she finally painted my nails it was all messy. She went past my cuticles and some places she missed. I’m not coming back here again. Felt like cattle being ushered out

I walked in without an appointment for a mani + pedi. They took me in right away. I couldn’t decide between two nail colors and Linda really took her time to help me decide. She painted two of my nails with two coats so that I could compare. What I really liked about Linda is that she didn’t rush me at all. She did both my pedi and mani and really took her time with every part of the process. Even though I wish the massage part could have been a little bit more firm, she definitely gave me a long one– that’s my favorite part. I will definitely be returning!

If this is the nail shop next to target. Do not go here. I walked in to get a pedicure and got a french done. The lady was nice and I tipped her well but because she did not clipped the sides of my toes I actually got an ingrown toenail here after a pedicure ! And the nail polish looked horrible and uneven.

Really don’t know why this place has only 2 stars. The staff is so friendly. The place is clean. They have nice spa chairs with amazing massage. OPI colors and wonderful service. My new place !

I have never leave a nail salon crying in my life but today it was the first time. I came to this salon because I always see it when I go to the mall and it didn’t look to bad. I really need a set of nails since I’m leaving to Mexico and today was my only day off. Normally I get my nails done at the nailshop in melrsore but is like an hour and some change in traffic to get there and today I was short on time so I decide to give this nail salon a try and to my bad luck I had the worse sets of nails ever. All I wanted was a nice looking pointy nail for Halloween. The first guy that did them, did them wrong and they look like cones so the owner came and try to fix them and he did the shape I wanted but only in the first 4 fingers all the other ones were a hot mess, I don’t know if he was trying to rush because people was coming or he realize that it was to much work or I don’t know, but after 230hr two fingers with cuts a whole lot of extra acrylic and my patience running low they finish my nails and the end result was so awful I just wanted to leave and take them off. All of my friends told me I shouldn’t have pay for it or make them fix it until I was satisfy but the guys were so nice and they were trying to fix them so I feel bad for them, beside the fact I was tired of been sitting down for 230hrs and my fingers were so soar and cut, so I just pay my bill and left crying. So my recommendation for future costumers is that if ur looking for regular old school nail or a simple mani pedi u can probably go here and they would do a decent job but if ur in style and ur looking for up-today nail styles don’t waste ur time here u probably end up doing the same thing I did cry, take them off and wish I have drove and hour or two to MelrOse

I am only reviewing the gel-nail service I received by Jenny. I did not get a manicure or pedicure, I came with my nails/cuticles all ready for gel polish. I refuse to get manicures unless I am allowed to bring in my own emery boards and nail utensils for them to use, or I just perform the manicure myself and save some money. I have been here twice already, both times serviced by Jenny. She is very gentle and sweet both in her handling of my hands/nails and her personality. The first time I came in as a walk-in, she took me to her station and waited patiently for 15 min as I made up my mind on the color of gel polish I wanted. She does not yell loudly across the room talking to other salon ladies(like they all normally do). She performs the nail painting very meticulously and is attentive to detail. I only had to mention once for her to please paint closer to my cuticles, and she complied right away. As far as I could tell, this place is much cleaner than other nail salons I have been to. The spa massage chairs are faux brown leather but clean, the floor is shiny and polished and their salon stations are clean and wiped down. Jenny will be my choice for getting my gel nails done.

I have given this salon three tries and now they are OUT! Each time I have been here my nail polish turns out thick and cake and looks like it was applied by a child. The technicians did not clean their tools in between customers and they speak to each other the entire time. Today my toe nails were cut WAY too short and my cuticles were not even trimmed. The only thing this salon has going for it is the massage chair!

I called day of and they had a really good availability. They got me right in as I got there. The salon was well lit and they had many TVs with a few things to watch. It was nice and cool inside despite the scorching heat outside. The lady(who’s name escapes me) took her time and my nails felt strong and felt beautiful. It was reasonably priced and I would definitely be back for more nail needs.

I am in love with the way they did my nails. I went in to see if they could fix them from my previous nail experience and they did such a fantastic job! One place I will definitely be going back to!

Gel manicure is $ 26, regular is $ 13. Overall my gel manicure looks okay, but the gel mani process was a little weird. I get gel every 3 weeks or so, so I know what to expect when I’m getting my nails done. At this salon, they asked me to soak my nails in a bowl of acetone instead of using foil wrapped around each nail to remove my gel. It started to sting a bit and was drying out my hands, so I took them out — the employee then was mad that I didn’t keep them in the bowl for 20 minutes. She proceeded to attempt to remove the gel by peeling it with her fingers, which I’m pretty sure is bad for my nails… When I asked her if she could cut my nails shorter, she filed them instead of cutting it. At the end, there wasn’t any hot towel or lotion. It’s not that I expected amazing service or anything, but I’ve been to plenty of nail salons with cheaper gel manicures that provided me with much better service, better paint job and an overall better experience.

Came here on a whim since my old nail spot unexpectedly closed & I was going on vacation the next day. Despite negative Unilocal reviews, I went in for the sake of convenience, but I’m never returning. I got gel nails & they were not the greatest. Kinda lumpy, and the lady couldn’t do any designs at all(I showed her a pretty simple photo of zig zags as an accent nail). NOPE! Wouldn’t do it. So I opted for a glittery nail instead. The gal who did my pedi was pretty good though. I believe her name was Hemi(spelling?). Meh… I won’t come back. Weird vibe and inconsistent quality.

Well, I tried this place ONE more time since it was near by. I regret it. Went on vacation for a week and during that my nails turned yellow. I had an older woman do my nails and she was shaking the entire time. Very disappointed. And again as much as you smile and your sincere the owner is never pleasant. She rarely ever smiles. I encourage you to try another place.

Like the others, I should have read the reviews. The worst manicure I have ever had, and $ 17!!! She rushed through it like a nascar driver, leaving burnout trails all over. Now at another place, having them fix the carnage.

Tracy is AMAZING! I came here to fix a horrible acrylic job and she was so understanding and patient! The nails I had before were extremely bulky, thick, and unflattering and she redid them and made them so beautiful :) Needless to say, I will definitely come back for years to come!

Sigh, should have read the Unilocal reviews before coming in. Rude service and a poor manicure for $ 15

I should of read the reviews before going in!!! Ugh! They were terrible and they were expensive! She cut me pretty good and tried to SUPERGLUE the skin… Wth!!! I took lots of pics in case it got infected. So far so good but learned my lesson! They had the audacity to charge me too! I mean, you took a piece of my skin yet you want my money?!! I should report them to some agency but whose got time for that? So I’m Unilocaling it because this will do more immediate damage … I don’t even want to give them a star! Ugh!

I witnessed the owner filling name brand nail polishes with cheap off name nail polishes. Women are being sold on one thing and being giving another. Plus the chemicals are different so it won’t last you. This owner has major attitude issues with anyone that walk-in and she doesn’t know. Yet the window says walk-ins welcome, how’s that!

I hate leaving bad reviews but I’m learning that good nail techs are so hard to come by. I went to nails de brea today and was set up with Miley. From the get go I could tell she had no idea what she was doing after an hour and 15 minutes she only filled one hand. Finally she gave up and another girl finished my nails. I had been there for one hour and 35 minutes and had to leave to be in time for work with unpainted nails. I refused to pay the full price and will never be coming back. I really appreciate the work my girl Susan at JJNAILCLUB gives me and won’t go somewhere else for«convenience» EVER again. Vietnamese people have the worst people skulls and seeing how many women get their nails done, they should really step up their game.

DONOTCOMEHERE. It’s so messy’ water is leading everywhere because one of the spa pedicure chairs is broken. The water smell and it looks like there’s mold building up. Lady doing my manicure cut me while cleaning out my cuticles. My pedicure lady was not paying attention at all. She wasn’t listening to me because she was too busy on her phone. I even took a picture to prove it. Employees here have no hygiene/cleanliness standards. They leave their food out on their stations, it’s gross and they eat while they work and then talk to you. Overall, really bad experience. So grossed out and frustrated.
