Service: Gel Manicure (no acrylics)
As we know gel polish lasts forever, so I to get mine redone because they were ratchet looking with all that upper nail growth (lol).
First time here because I had to kill time while my iPhone got repair done at the Apple store.
Well the place is super clean and fancy pants with their marble tables and all.
My gel manicure took 1hr & 15 mins.
Secondly, couple things that were a tad annoying. I had to keep telling the lady where to paint (like edges of nails) because she was missing parts. No big deal.
I found it funny when she said «that’s your skin” – really? You think I don’t know my skin from my nail? Check yoself Lady!
Third, she felt a bump on one of my nails and she straight up started filing my nail… AFTER my nails were cured?! Wth. Who does that? (Cured=gel is fully dry/​done). She didn’t re-​gel it, so whatev’s.
So now I have a scuff.
Long story longer, I won’t return unless my iPhone decides to jump out my pocket and shatter again.

My nails look super good… from a distance. I’m sure no man will notice anyway. I have two bumps because of lint and one scuff. Taadaa!

Thank you Thank you Thank you to the new owner Tracey, she helped get several in grown toe nails out, I was hesitant to coming after reading past reviews, but I was desperate. Once Tracey finished my nails I asked her why this nail salon gets bad reviews and she told me that there is a new owner now. I’m so glad I came in, my nails feel amazing (no longer hurt) and their massage chairs were relaxing to sit in. I totally recommend this place!

I know this place doesn’t have the best reviews, but I came here 20 minutes before they were about to close and asked if my wife and I could get pedicures. They did, and my wife had a few ingrown nails from a previous salon, and Tracy (one of the new managers) really took care of her. She seemed like she knew what she was doing and was very kind. Tracy was totally a pro and you don’t find many friendly people at these salons typically (let’s be honest). But I just had to leave a review because this place is under NEW MANAGEMENT and TRACY, and Tammy were great! :)

I got the eyelash extensions and the lady did a sloppy job. There’s a glob of glue in the middle of my lashes and it’s extremely irritating.

Thought not the most «elite» or elegant of nails salons I have always been treated with kindness respect and in a professional manner by the women that work there. They are sweet helpful and friendly and I am always pleased with the work they do. I can always see clean tools and the place in pretty neat. The men that work there however is another story, they can be rude and rough. Also, the girls that don’t have a client will take their Break in the salon and you will often see them munching on their dinner in their station or in the back. If that bothers you don’t come here, if you don’t care then go for it. However like I said the work is always good in my experience.

My sister and I go with our mother every 2 weeks to get pampered, today was one of those days. The service there is excellent, they have the perfect touch when massaging and know every trick to a mani-​pedi. Every one that works there is amazing! With the new owner the place is gorgeously clean. Thank you everyone for always make our time wonderful!

Not great. Staff is cold and work is so so. For the prices they charge, there should at least be something to draw a customer in.

This is not my usual nail spot but nothing was open on New Year’s Day aside from mall salons. I was nervous because of some of the negative reviews but I ended up having good service. I had a basic mani/​pedi, the nail technicians were sweet, I had no wait, prices are good. I took one star off because it’s not the best looking salon and the massage wasn’t as good as my usual place. I like the hours here, I would definitely give them a try if you are in the mall and in need of a mani or pedi.

I’ve been coming to Tracy for my nails for the past 2 months & Ive been nothing but happy with the experience. Everyone here is so friendly & nice. I definitely recommend!

I found myself with about an hour and a half to kill while waiting for a tire replacement and alignment at Sears. Wasn’t in a shopping mood, so I decided to see if there was a nail place in the mall. Lo and behold… Liz’s Nails.
I was wary at first after reading the Unilocal reviews, but I’m glad I was super bored and ‘risked’ it. The claims that the salon is ‘filthy’ are completely unfounded. Is there some wear and tear on the equipment? Absolutely. But everything is completely sanitary. There were 5 – 6 UV sterilizers in the back of the store and the tools they used for my manicure came directly out of the sterilized package. No chunks were taken out of my cuticles. There was no gel left on my fingers. Mindy was awesome.
I noticed she put more coats of than any other gel manicure I’ve had before. Some kind of primer, a base coat, three coats of color and 2 top coats. I’m anxious to see if it actually lasts 21 days this way. Other gel manicures I’ve had started chipping about 2 weeks in. But even that is an improvement from my usual self-​manicure that last about 2 days without chipping.
I kind of didn’t want to leave a review at all because I loved coming in on a Friday afternoon and being helped immediately. But I have to give credit where credit is due, and this place is being seriously undersold. So, believe what you want, but I don’t know which nail salon all these one star reviews are coming from. It certainly isn’t this one, though.

Just moved to the area and it was late so i decided i try this place, even though i dont do mall nail salons. It was horrific! She cut me three times, overdid the scrubbing and exfoilating leaving my feet to bleed and throb. Lesson learned i am never returning!

The woman who did my kids nails was really rude and looked irritated when I asked her to do her job and clean under their nails. If you don’t want to do people’s nails get a different job. To top this whole thing off they over charged our card. This place is absolutely awful.

Worst salon I’ve ever been to.
So me and my friend walk in today on Labor Day. It was the only place open.
We asked to get sit together and they tell us okay. When the lady comes over and starts working on my friend we asked that we wanted to sit together and she straight out said NO in a very rude manner. She had very attitude. They didn’t even start us at the same time, this woman had the worst customer service that I decided that I didn’t want to give my business to this ghetto salon anyways and decided to not get anything done. And automatically she started talking her shit in her language.
My friend told the lady the nail was crooked and she yelled «I’m not done yet!» After she painted her nails my friend asked for another coat since it was too light and This bitch had the audacity to say «you young but very picky» by this time I had already had enough of her, that I said «WELL WE ARE PAYING!!» Over all we had a terrible experience. I will never ever ever return here. I hope she gets fired because she doesn’t deserve to work with paying customers if she is going to treat them like shit! Bye Felicia

Decided to get my nails done last minute saw they were open late. No line am to get right in. The ladies were very friendly. Love the massage chair :-)
Really liked how they showed me the prices before starting on my nails so there were no surprises.
They did an awesome job– I had a design it looks so pretty.

It was okay. I just got a basic manicure but it was not worth $ 12 (excluding tip). My nails are streaky and bubbly. It just doesn’t have that smooth feel to it. Gave them a $ 5 tip after asking them to redo it, still came out bubbly. Didn’t really talk to them as much. Gave me a bad 1^st nail salon service impression.

Went here for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. I wanted to get matching colors for my nails. The lady told me to pick from the perfect match to make sure they would match. I wanted a natural color, something light. Well as they were putting on my gel they told me they didn’t have a matching color. That would’ve been nice to know from the beginning since I only picked the color because it would match. The ladies didn’t seem to care that they basically lied.
It’s been a week since I got the gel put on and it’s already peeling off. I should’ve just gotten a regular manicure and I would’ve been able to get the color I wanted. I will never go back here. My nails look horrible and the customer service sucks too!
Don’t waste your money here!

This place sucks so much!
The freaking people were eating in front of me and one of the guys was wearing socks that worked there yuck! My full set looks so disgusting and it took her forever too. Never coming back ever.

This place is beyond disappointment and I would never go back or recommend it to no one unless is the the last day on Earth and they are the only ones open. I thought of this visit as a mommy-​daughter date with my 10 year old while daddy and 2 year old baby waited at the playground. Right of the bat I asked for a French mani and pedi with «hot pink» pink for both of us, I wanted the gel just for me not my daughter I (why would she need gel anyways).
They assigned our two chairs that were just used by other customers and noticed this woman was barely hosing down the salt or whatever particles left at the bottom of the basin where you put your feet in and didn’t feel right, that hosing job wasn’t as clean as I expected. Anyways, I sat down and the woman started the super hot water spraying my feet I had to tell her to stop because it was too hot; she regulated to just plain luke water…
Then she gave this menu of massages that go with the pedi and suggested I get the super expensive that is about $ 70 that had the massaging and rubbing with who knows what and makes you feel I don’t know how, I couldn’t care less so I picked the deluxe for $ 30 for both of us. Meanwhile the other woman was working on my daughter asked me if my daughter was getting the same thing as I, and I said yes except for the mani which is regular, no gel. She seemed to understand.
Several times I said that I wanted the hot pink, big white tips and squared. After a little while my daughter quietly tells me that she didn’t want her pedi red! and I looked over and the woman was on the 3^rd toenail painting with hot red! Didn’t I say hot pink? When did I say red for Christ sake??? So she cleaned it and started over…
My daughter asked for some flowers and pretty much she got her work done well although the woman took forever but not so bad in the end considering she was doing both mani and pedi on her own, while I had two women working on me.
Then they asked me if I wanted flowers and I said that I wanted a letter. They started looking at each other wondering what the heck I said. I said I wanted on my big toes the letter «V» with a little pink stone appliqué at the bottom of the letter. It was German or Afrikaans what i spoke because they couldn’t figure out what I was saying. They started consulting with each other in Vietnamese or God knows what language until the male employee «figured out» I wanted the letter «V» ahhhh… «V»… «V» is that difficult or what… and not just that, I asked if she could draw a cursive «V». forget it! She was lost, probably didn’t even know what cursive means!
So all our hot pinks (my daughter’s and mine) looked fine until I see my toenails, after all the letter struggle I see that this woman painted my toenails with I’d say fuchsia! It was mega pink!!! I told her I hated them! How could she flip and not see the hot pinks of the rest of the other 30 nails (my fingernails and all my daughters!!) At this point this woman is pissed off and cleaned them all up again and started over in a very mediocre way. Am I being difficult or what? How hard is hot pink — not mega-​, big white tip and squared!!!
Overall, the pedi looked mehh and my mani was round not squared like I repeatedly asked and the letter «V» in my thumbs my 10 year old can do better and in cursive!
I hated that I had to stick my hands inside this UV light trinket, it was oily, glueii, dusty and so dirty and the most annoying thing is that they speak all the time in their language no English unless if it is to ask me if i wanted 10 more minutes massage or if I wanted the salts from I don’t know where, or if I wanted gel on my toes?!!
When the woman on my mani was done she just left my side and I stayed sitting down with the rubber toe thing that separates your toes until my daughter was done, It would have been nice if someone could help me out the chair (I’m 9 months pregnant hellooo!) and remove those rubbery thing from my toes and put my slippers back on, I mean don’t they do that in all the other places?
The final price was the coup-​de-​grace for this mediocre visit. They know really good English when it comes to pull out their pink plastic calculator and make the math: 2 $ 30 deluxe pedi plus the manis that honestly I don’t remember how much it costed because they use a pink smelly lotion from Prussia and the gel that I’m pretty sure was $ 10 more but in the end she said it was $ 16 plus the infantile 4 «Vs» and the stone appliques= $ 111!!! YES just as you read it. I left no tip at all and for that I’m pretty sure I got cussed at in fluid Vietnamese, and still felt bad I didn’t but there was no way they could rip me off even more!
DO NOT EVER GO UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE OR A BETTER ALTERNATIVE! JUST DON’T CHOOSE THEM– PERIOD.

I had to wait to get service which was okay but when the woman came back from break she took a chunk out of my finger. I posted a photo. Maybe it was an off day?

Nice ladies… and the 2 men that work there too. I read all the negative reviews about the staff being rude, but I don’t get that treatment (try talking to them first, maybe they’re focused on their jobs and/​or it’s just the language barrier).
Most of the staff has assisted me and no one is bad (no one to dread). No complaints from me. A little on the pricey-​er side compared to other salons, but to me it’s clean (cleaner than some), does the trick, and the hours work for my schedule.
