Hi-Tek Nails

I came here once with my mother a while ago and she liked it a lot because they were very attentive and delicate with a hurt hand and such. We haven’t been back since, just due to scheduling.
I called on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and made an appointment for this past Sunday, ¹¹⁄₂₉ for 4 — everyone was really pleased with their manicures (3 total, 1 gel), pedicures (4), and my mom’s best friend got an extra fut massage. They are delicate on your cuticles and if you’re missing half your big toenail due to an accident ;)
I would say their callus remover service is sub-​par and that’s why I only put 4 stars.
Parking and scheduling appointments is easy! It’s also very clean.
Mani/​pedi with callus remover is $ 22 — so a great deal too!

If I had one word to describe Hi-​Tek Nails it would be INCONSISTENT because you never know what kind of work you will be leaving with. My first time was awesome! I couldn’t believe I had never gone there and was glad that I ignored the 3 STARS, my 2^nd time was terrible (same person), 3^rd time was ok and basically it was a hit or miss situation anytime after that. After several times of coming here (yes I kept going because I don’t always have time to try different Nail places) I finally asked for Tony to do my nails because these women where just not cutting it for me.
Tony does do a great job, he asks you want you like and will try his best to do what you’ve asked him to do. If I ever go back I will only get my nails done with him.
Jessica will occasionally do a great job too but like I said the work is very inconsistent.

Tony does the best nails any design you want just tell him I just let him know what I’m thinking and what holiday I want and pedicures are relaxing !

I have been coming here since I was 15, now at 25 my 3 yr. old and I continue the tradition. Very happy nail clients. They are very accommodating and take their time with you.

Today I came her to get a pedicure here and it was fantastic. The service is friendly and helpful for what I wanted. This is my second time coming here and getting my nails done. The salon is spacey and clean, it has a nice variety of nail polishes. The pedicure process was pretty decent. They helped me choose a nice color for my nails and did my nail on spa chair. The people here were friendly and managed to get a conversation going when I was there. The result of the pedicure looked nice and glossy/​shiny. My spring break started at this nail salon and i feel relaxed coming here. They do a good job on your nails and the water in the spa chair is calming and relaxing. It wasnt crowded when I came here this morning and I got my nails down immediately. I strongly recommend coming here in the morning with the lack of customers to get a manicure or pedicure. I recommend this place if you’re around Brea, I will return.

Great nail salon with good customer service. The staff is friendly and they do a great job on my mani and pedi. Like always, my favorite part is the foot massage during the pedicure… heavenly!!! I think the pricing is reasonable and they get the job done fast. I love getting my nails done here bi-​weekly and always tell my friends about this place.

Tony does a great job with my pedicure and full set not to mention great prices! What I love the most is that he is patient and listens to my creative ideas. The place is not always busy so I don’t have to wait too long. Friendly staff! I will be returning again. It’s located near down town Brea so it’s convenient.

Have been here multiple times and have never had bad service. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. I typically get a full set of acrylics and they always turn out looking great and last longer than most other salons I’ve been to.

Not only a nice, friendly nail place to have full and Gel nails with Christmas designs put on but also it’s located near many different convenience stores and fast food restaurants for all your shopping needs. My girlfriend also loves to come here.

I came here because Apple Nails had an hour wait for a pedicure. This is place is $ 2 mre ($ 17 for a pedi), but there was no wait. The guy that greeted me was very friendly. My pedicure was good, but I just wish they had more of a color selection. The good news is I was in and out in 30 minutes and she used a quick dry top coat because she knew I had to go back to work. The massage was REALLY good too! I would come back because it’s so convenient and close by.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Unfortunately I wanted to try a new nail salon and totally failed with this one. A child could have cleaned and painted my toes better. I thought I got a lazy one… But I read the previous reviews and realized this is a horrible salon.
I will never return! Now I have to go home and not only fix my pedicure but also place some antibiotics on the toe she cut!!!

This place is a dump. Had an appointment at 4:30. They didn’t take me until 5. I got a fill and Gel Nail Polish because their nail polish selection was so horrible. It is now day 3 and my Gel started chipping. We all know gel doesn’t chip. I will never go back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Oh and they are filthy.

Decent service. Color on the template wasn’t what I got. Paid $ 25 plus I tipped on top of that, so not bad. but there was a chunk of COTTON left under the polish so it was hideous and I shaved it down. But then 3 days later the GEL NAIL POLISH was already lifting up and off on 4 nails, it’s now been a week and every single one has chipped a good amount. If I wait another week it’ll be off completely. Woo… never going back. I want a refund!

Update: Almost 2 years later, the owner of this nail salon contacted me via Unilocal and issued me a refund and apology for the poor service I received when I visited his/​her salon; in exchange requesting that I delete my review. That would be a disservice to Unilocalers, so I’ll give you an update and additional star instead. Kudos for customer service, hopefully your nail technicians also provide the same service.

Ive only been here one time, and it was really nice. The location is kind of small, but it was clean. We made an apt online and didn’t have to wait. I didn’t feel like the employees were pushy at all, they asked if I wanted extra things and if I said ‘no’ that was it. I only got a pedicure, and my toesies look great!

I came here two different times for pedicures. Both times I was not happy. I’ve learned my lesson. They rush thru the process and take ur money, period. Done!

Why, oh why did I wait till I was IN THE CHAIR to check the Unilocal ratings for this place?
Nail polish selections: awful. (No excuse, with Han’s Beauty Supply a couple of doors away.)
Pushiness: extreme. (No, I don’t want you to scrub my feet. No! Stop!)
Pedicure: amateurish. (My nails were cut to varying lengths and angles. A $ 5 flower was so weird, my daughter painted over it the minute she got home.)
The water in the foot spa was lukewarm. How do you screw up water? As a bonus, when I asked if they took credit cards, the lady said yes … but … we’d prefer cash. Do you have cash? Cash? Cash??? So I paid in cash. Which they presumably pocketed without reporting to the IRS. Awesome.

Hands down. WORSE NAIL SALON IN SO CAL! Terrible customer service… over priced… terrible work…
1. Very rude. we walked in. tried to pick a nail color, but they snatched the nail polish from my hands
2. Horrible work. my nails were cut crooked and jagged therefore my french tip came out gross… the flower design was ugly and she didn’t even want to correct it…
3. Over priced… for 2 partially finished pedicures.$ 53…Expensive!
I will never refer or return here ever again. There’s a great Hi-​Tek nails in the Cerritos Towne Center.
