It is with great pleasure we write this review for Darryl and the J.J. Jones team. We did our research in picking the right team to help us sell our home. The whole process was extremely smooth and seamless.
Darryl provided us with great information in our introductory meeting. His team member Allie was the perfect person to help with our listing and was always available to answer questions. They helped us stage our house to assist with the sale, took great pictures which accentuated the features of our property.
Due to our move out of state prior to the sale, Darryl’s partner Dodi was extremely helpful in facilitating the donation of our belongings to Goodwill, taking pictures we needed for the HOA and even checking a few things at the house.
The escrow process was smooth and the transition was expeditious.
It was our first time selling a property and the entire team at Darryl and J.J. Jones was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. If we ever move back to California, we would definitely use their services again.

I have known Darryl and JJ for a long time, JJ sold my mother her house which happen to be across the street from her house back in the 90’s. She was great, not only professionally but also as a neibor. The saying goes, «that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree» and that couldn’t be more true about Darryl. Just by luck, I met Darryl at an Open House. He put his buyer’s specialist Edwin Baloloy in touch with me and we met face-​to-​face for about 30 minutes during my lunch break. Their team is VERY efficient and we were seeing «eye to eye» with our expectations and price point. In total, we viewed about 20 homes without any kind of pressure. Actually, it was the contrary — he talked us out of buying a Placentia home that was priced at $ 750,000. Today, it still sits on the market at $ 689,000!
Our first offer was on a short sale listing that seemed «too good to be true». Edwin helped us take a stab at it while keeping our risk at a minimum. He mentioned that there were some red flags in the sale and it likely wouldn’t happen. The bank ended up not cooperating, but we were spared any kind of inspection and appraisal fees.
We finally ended up buying a bankruptcy sale in Brea and used their lender. The process was smooth and they seemed to have an answer to anything that didn’t go as planned. In the end, we got everything on our wish list: a pool, 4 bedrooms, a nice layout, and great schools!

I needed help with a leaseback agreement and had lots of questions on title insurance. Darryl and his team guided me well. The house closed on time and I had no problems.
Darryl’s inventory of staging furniture is awesome. He can make an average home look like a model. His marketing program is impressive too. Great brochures and photography. It seems every time I open my mailbox one of his postcards or ads is there. In my opinion he is the best Realtor in Brea.

Darryl is professional, personable, and knows the Brea area like the back of his hand. He grew up in Brea, and knows how to market houses for sale.
He sold our house in a week, but only after careful planning for a month or so. He is a high volume agent, and spends his own money to make money –he hired a good photographer, staged the house with décor, and created a strategy to get us multiple offers.
The guy even has a personalized license plate on his car with «BUY BREA.»
Now that we’re looking for a slightly larger house in the area, we are using him as well. He has many listings in the city, and knows when these houses are about to hit the market.
If you use him, you’ll probably meet his fellow agent and younger sister, Jill – she is super nice and will let you in to look at houses if Darryl is unavailable at a particular time.
