The best experience I’ve ever had in a dental office. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The doctor was wonderful ! I definitely will recommend to everyone in need of a dentist. Call them and speak with Susan, she will take good care of you!

I broke a tooth a few weeks ago. I’ve never had any dental work except for routine cleaning and braces as a teen. I was a little bit freaked out to get this fixed, i had no idea where to go. Luckily my fiancé had been seeing Dr. (Karen) Koo for almost a year and was able to recommend them for an appointment.
I scheduled an appointment and was scheduled with Dr. (Johnny) Koo. They are a husband and wife team, by the way. His nurse took me back for x-​rays and after viewing them advised me that I’d need a filing. I said «ok can we do that now?!». Luckily he says sure, we have time and I waited for him to return with the equipment.
Don’t laugh, but I am so ignorant to dental work that I honestly thought he was going to put some plaster-​type material on my tooth & I was gonna be on my way.
The doctor came in with his nurse, I reclined in my seat and he rubbed some numbing gel on my gums. The numbing injections were quick and painless and I ended up being glad that I didn’t know what was going on, hehe.
The filling was not bad at all, my face felt really odd being numbed up but it went away a few hours later. I was SO happy with the experience overall, I’m terrified of needles and was really pleased that the experience was almost totally painless!
My tooth filling is smooth, I’m sure I’ll be back to the office for future cleanings & routine care. Oh, they offer Zoom whitening and have specials a few times a year according to the front desk staff! Great experience here, I’m glad to have found them through my fiancé.

If you looking for a dental office for yourself and your family look no further. Dr Koo is simply the best dentist in town. Not only is he an exceptional dentist, he is a down to earth honest dentist. He explains your treatment in detail and takes his time. I finally found an office to refer all my family and friends to. You will not be disappointed!

Let me say that I only visited the dentisit out of pure necessisty. After growing up with horribe experiences with dentist, I only decided to go after weeks of pain from my wisdom tooth. Even at my age, I still had anxiety going in! The staff was understanding and did everything to make me comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Johnny Koo took his time explaining what he was going to do and made sure that I was calm and ready to have my widom tooth removed. As I lied back, eyes closed and listening to my tunes, I was totally relaxed. Before I knew it Dr. Koo tapped me on the shoulder to let me know it was all done. My experience was great!
I highy recommend Brea Ranch Dentistry. Everyone had a smile, and the professional quality was excellent. Love that it was quick and painless. Great doctors, super geat staff!

My made an appointment for my wife Susan. They got her in the very next
morning. She was in a lot of pain and had been for about three months.
Susan got her setup with the paper work and was very helpful. My wife was very nervous going into this because she had a couple of bad experiences
with dental work in the past. She had to have two molars removed. She didn’t even feel the injection to numb her mouth to do the procedure. Dr.
Koo is the greatest. The treatment Susan received from Dr Koo was off the
charts. Her experience at his office totally changed her mind about dentists.
So, that being said if you have any reservations about getting dental work
done Dr. Koo will change your mind. Painless and easy to talk to and explaines everything very well. His office gets an A++.

First off, the staff at this dental office are the perfect mix of personable and professional! Susan greeted me warmly, which made me feel so welcome. I was introduced to Marissa, who again was welcoming and patiently answered all my questions. And Dr. Karen Koo is the greatest — wonderful chair-​side manner, and always made sure I was comfortable throughout both of my procedures.
We have no dental insurance and we were in between dentists. I found this dental office when I responded to an ad on their website for ZOOM Whitening. I wanted to get my teeth cleaned first, and learned that Dr. Karen Koo would provide x-​rays, a dental exam and teeth cleaning for the completely affordable price of $ 99.00! Dr. Karen uses an ultrasonic device to clean your teeth (new to me), and the results are fantastic. I swear my teeth were a shade or two lighter just from that procedure, because it works to remove some of your stains, as well as your plaque — worth every penny! Ultrasonic is my new best friend…
I then reappointed to get my teeth whitened using the ZOOM method, which was priced at $ 199.00, and again I received fantastic results. My teeth are probably 8 shades lighter, and this from not having my teeth whitened in several years! Marissa did a wonderful and efficient job, as this is a detailed procedure, and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Both Susan and Dr. Koo came to check on me as well!
Plus I have a family member who receives Cal Optima/​Medi-​Cal and Susan informed me that after May 1, 2014, he would be eligible for dental benefits, which Dr. Koo accepts! They also offer a 10% discount for cash patients. For my family, this just keeps getting better and better!
