History
Established in 1982.
The Outlet Center was built in 1950 and operated as a handbag factory for its first thirty two years. The Factory Store neon sign is still lit every night, an icon for visitors to our state. In 1982 the building was redesigned and opened as one of the first outlet centers in the country. Although there have been some changes in tenants over our 30 years, the continued presence of highly regarded brand name stores continues to make The Outlet Center a place, «Where smart shoppers buy famous brands for less.»
