Fabulous experience A+for the butterflies. Would suggest when you go wearing light weight clothing due to temp. That info would’ve been nice to include in the page. Also the advertised prices were not what we were charged so deducting a star for that. Also the website indicates butterflies are released through your day and that is incorrect there are scheduled release times. Still if you love butterflies as I do it’s a must do.

The admission price is high but there are coupons to save some. We come back every year and I get a new butterfly magnet for my fridge collection. My toddler loves this and place! Gets very warm and humid with the butterflies, but it’s required for them to thrive.

The jungle mirror maze was very cool and the bungee cord trees, but the atrium was smaller than I would have expected. Seemed pricey for such a small sample if butterflies.

The butterflies are absolutely beautiful! I would definitely come back here if given the chance. We got to watch a 3d video about butterflies which was nice, and the mirror maze was fun. I wish that the prices were a little cheaper, but whatever it takes to keep the butterflies alive and well! Ended up giving this 4 stars because I wish that there were more butterflies, they seemed a little low in quantity, either that or the room was too big. Even still I would come again if in the area as they are absolutely beautiful to watch. The kids lived the mirror maze and seeing the butterflies, even my teenage son said that he thought it would be boring but ended up enjoying it.

Had a buy one get one half off coupon so it made the visit worth it ($ 30ish for two adults). There is a mirror maze, bungee cord maze, amphibians area and the butterfly room. It had tons of butterflies none of which can be locally found.
Make sure you plan to go during a butterfly release and when you can touch amphibians — otherwise not as exciting.

I took the kids here on a rainy day. First time. The building and landscaping was very nice but I got sticker shocked — 1 adult, 2 kids (5,7) — $ 43… Are you kidding me! We enjoyed it, but I think it is way overpriced for what it is.

Been to «CHILD FRIENDLY» Branson years 2001, 2003, 2006! Years 2003 and 2006 while rest of Tour Group went to restaurant call Club Vegas (me not comfortable in 21 and over places), I went to Butterfly Place! Spent hours in here, then walk back to hotel! Think child ticket was $ 6.00, not bad! Going from entrance to place where butterflies are (2003), four landed on my shirt, someone take picture! Maybe the moisture, but picture not came out! I like they landed on me! When they hatch, you can see how they turn their bodies, the body gets shorter, the wings go from wet and wrinkly to dry! There also chameleons, turtles, lizards here!
I will definitely come here again! Very child friendly! Was actually Branson Salvation Army church sent me the brochure! Any Salvation Army I write regular basis, sometimes they better than Visitor Center! Comes out in my animal artwork and coupons I donate! Hey why there a Club Vegas, the officer in 2006 told me Branson is Bible Belt area, so usually no alcohol served! Butterfly Place to me way better than place where say 21 and over!

Worth seeing, but do your best to scout around for a coupon. (Full price wouldn’t be much of a value in my opinion.)
Welcome — to the gift shop. I felt a little underwhelmed to walk in and find myself straight in the gift shop area. Push past all the butterfly merchandise and buy your ticket. Head upstairs to see the actual butterfly habitat. There were LOTS of butterflies and the little walkway provided places to sit and gaze upwards as well as lot of little dishes with sweet treats to tempt the butterflies to alight close to eye level so you could really get up close and see the little beauties. A handy plastified form was helpful in tracking how many varieties we had seen as we toured around.
I LOVED the mirror maze. It was really well done and we walked our way through no less than three times because we enjoyed the effect and hunt so much. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Take a few minutes to also visit their little terrarium section and see their selections of rainforest animals. Of particular note to me where the eyelash gecko and of course the pretty teal chameleon. (He was happy that day! But I am told he can also be a black mood.)

Eh. That’s how our visit to The Butterfly Palace left me feeling. First off, it snowed here on Monday and the place didn’t open until Thursday even though everything else in town opened up Tuesday. I guess when their voicemail says they are open year round «rain or shine» they meant they don’t open when it snows! Anyway, putting aside the fact that they didn’t return my phone call asking for an update when they would open, they finally were open the third time we drove over. The movie they show is outdated and doesn’t keep kids’ attention. The atrium was small and a portion was under construction. The employees working in the atrium showed no interest in conversing with us or telling us anything other than to stay away from the construction. The employee in the science exhibit was too busy feeding the animals in there to engage with us other than to mention one gecko was awake. Overall, it was just okay. Pretty overpriced for what took us about an hour to explore before getting bored.

Great visit for our 4 year old. Staff was very helpful and even helped my son to appropriately interact with the butterflies. I went to a butterfly sanctuary in Costa Rica, which they did a great job capturing. Only negative was $ 53 for me, my son and hubby and later found a $ 21 groupon for 4. would definitely go back!

THE BUTTERFLY PALACE– AN EXPERIENCE!
OK, I took my girlfriend here because she loves butterflies and she had a personal epiphany! Butterflies landing on her, walking with her, on her hands. She was in heaven. There are hundreds on butterflies of many species. Educational yet fun.
They also have a great gift store and other attractions.
Ample parking and pretty reasonable-​definitely look for discount coupons.

Nice small place with lots of junk to buy. The butterfly exhibit was small but very interesting. Pretty décor and loved the butterflies.

If you are into butterflies or you have children interested in butterflies this is a nice stop if you’re in Branson. The price was okay… four adults was about $ 65, with a buy one get one half price coupon (you can find it where they have brochures of the city). They also show a movie about the butterflies that last about 30 – 40 minutes. The main attraction is the room with all the butterflies flying around. Be careful because they sometime land on your head (hopefully you use the hats they provide). If you are into nature photography or just photography in general, this is a place to capture butterflies in all their beauty.

Took our son to this attraction since its one of the few things he could do while on our vacation in Branson. He had a great time in the butterfly exhibit running around chasing the butterflies. We did get there a bit late and the explained that around 4:30 the butterflies go to sleep so we didn’t have a chance to do the whole exhibit. On a side note they were nice enough to let us come back the following day since we were there late. Unfortunately for us we had plans already. The staff was nice and the price was OK. If you have your quaker they give you a discount.

I enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. I was with a group, and wasn’t the one that paid for the tickets, so I didn’t feel the sting of the price. I might not have gone, but my girlfriend really wanted to visit. Wear the lightest clothes you can, the butterfly room is very tropical and hot.
There is also a small tropical lizard and frog room with cool creatures on display. Also, don’t miss the mirror maze. I went through twice. There are movies about the butterflies to watch, but we didn’t catch those.
Overall, it was fun, but a little pricey. If you are Silver Dollar City season pass holder, you get a $ 5 discount on your ticket. They close at five o’clock, but if you buy after three o’clock, you can bring your bracelet for admission on the next day.
Take the kids, and take your time. Make sure to take a lot of pictures.

This is great for younger children. Of course, you start in the gift shoppe, and… surprise! everything is about butterflies. There are a few things to do besides butterflies. There is a small «rainforest museum» which is mostly a few frogs and bugs in small fish tanks. There is a 20 minute 3D movie about bugs, which is fairly well put together. And of course, the main attraction: a large room with a lot of butterflies flying around. Take care not to smash, and leave the coats in the car. These butterflies are tropical, and the temperature is at least 90 degrees.
The staff is friendly, and you can take as many pictures as you want. Overall, a fun, if pricy, way to spend an hour or so.

So glad to see that this little gem is still there.
The Atlas Moths were amazing. The little gardens were so pretty.
It was very peacful when in the «off season». Had the good fortune to have had an «inside connection» when I was in Branson, so we used to go in, after hours, and check out the big beautiful moths at night. It was so amazing to be in there at night, nice bottle of wine, several kind friends hanging out after an afternoon of kayaking, just sitting in the silence, watching these beautiful critters cruise by.
I will for sure be back.
