We ordered tickets ahead of time and the website says they operate rain or shine. That should come with an asterisk since they did not run on our last day of vacation because it was raining. Because of their poor job at advertising their commitment to operating in all normal summer weather conditions, we did not get an opportunity to ride the ducks.

We had been wanting to ride the ducks for years and have never got to. We were excited to finally get to, but was disappointed. Not sure if it was because from the landing location and not off the strip. We were staying near the landing so thought being closer would be nice. We thought we ride on land then into the water. But we went on over half hour to another town across bridge and slowly went thru the work college. Hearing every detail on college and how its non profit etc. very boring. We were surrounded by kids that wanted the water! The drive wasnt near the strip and was all over grown and run down part town. The water part was nice but not very long down to landing and back. We realize the drivers have to repeat what they say alot but our driver was older and thought he was funny. Only one guy laughed at his jokes. He also told so many details of college in a monotone we wondered if all the rides were like this. The boat did seem newer. It wax red white blue compared to the other ones we saw on strip. So over all, glad our son got to experience it, but boring drive.
