Our family had previously stayed at Lilley’s Landing(right next door) twice before but we didn’t get our reservation in early enough this year for our group of twelve, and I had remembered this place which is next door and offering more or less the same accommodations and amenities. Apparently it is owned by two people who also manage the place with what appeared to be one full-time handyman, fishing guide, boat guy, maintenance man, etc. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating. The whole place is clean and in good repair, if just a little old school and perhaps in need of a couple of updates here and there, but it was very nice nevertheless. They have a small but very nice pool area, a lighted fishing dock with plenty of room to spread out your fishing gear with multiple lines, and a fish cleaning station. The marina on the ground has fishing boats for rent, but they only have one pontoon. The pontoon was $ 175.00 for the entire day which isn’t a bad rate, but the boat has seen better days(one of those updates that they might want to look into). There are also three covered areas to cook out, picnic and gather, but they don’t allow BBQ grills on the decks outside of the units, which I thought was a little strange. All in all, though, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.
