The Château on the Lake Resort Spa & Convention Center is the flagship of the John Q Hammons Hotels & Resorts portfolio of eighty hotels. There are 301 finely appointed guestrooms surrounding the ten story atrium lobby and over 43,500 sq ft of meeting and convention facilities, all on the same floor together with state of the art audio visual equipment along with a 52 seat theatre, perfect for smaller product launches and presentations. The 14,000 sq ft Spa Château has 10 treatment rooms, a zumba & pilate studio, separate changing rooms and lockers for men and women equipped with showers, steam room, dry sauna and adjoining relaxtion rooms. A co-ed indoor hot tub and outdoor roman bath overlooking Table Rock Lake is the perfect way to relax afterwards. The Château Grille under the guidance of Chef Knopp and his culinary team is Branson’s only restaurant which has the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence designation. It has been my privilege and honor to have been the Château’s Vice President & General Manager for the past 13 years. This would not have been possible if it were not for the owner and developer Mr. John Q Hammons who entrusted his vision and dream to me in the beginning. During my tenure the resort has grown and matured in stature due to the individual efforts, committment, passion and loyalty of an oustanding group of associates, the finest I have had the pleasure of working with during my 30 plus years in the hospitality business.
